Of course not. In my experience, both Jessica and Dr Davis have helped me with my disability forms with no problems. I have had numerous illnesses in the past, and I still struggle with them. When I have concerns , or questions I am able to receive the help fairly easily. I am fortunate that I have had a long history with them so perhaps, this may make a difference. Nevertheless, I believe without my doctors, nurses and staff members I feel I would have never survived without their support and assistance. I am grateful for their care and always will be.

The medical assistants doing the BP check and temperature are the most caring people it seems, and a random NP Cuevas, seems to know more how to prescribe meds. At times they have also cancelled my appt without letting me know and then I have to make another appt, awaiting longer than 2mo. This is not good for someone who has diabetes and to run out of meds. My pharmacy calls and they do not answer so I have to come in to see a Dr before my meds are refilled. I wish I could afford to go back to Kaiser or a better office that would care more for their patients. Also seems like they the front office answer or treat people of light color vs minorities, although they are mostly minorities themselves.

I also heard so many great things about him from his patients and even my own coworkers being under his care that I left my own primary physician that I had for many years to be cared under Dr. Tsai instead. He works along side his NP Lindsay who is just as great. Their team takes time to listen to their patients and encourage healthy lifestyles. You don't have to wait too long to get an appointment if you're sick. Their office is clean and close to home. Yenali was helpful scheduling appointments. Consult with Dr. Tsai and I promise you won't regret doing so.

In August 2022 I was in a major car accident. I spent a year in hospitals, acute care facilities, surgeries, and finally a nursing home to recover. In August 2023 I was discharged from the nursing home. I assumed that I would go back to my wonderful doctor Saddiq. However, when I tried to make an appointment, I was informed by his Office manager (wife) that my physician no longer wanted to be my physician and that they had a staff meeting about me to make this decision. Evidently they felt my case was too complicated for the physician to handle. This left me in a very confused and upset position as I was now being discharged from the nursing home with no trusted physician to care for me outpatient. I have now been home a year. The transition has been exceedingly difficult because instead of working with a trusted physician who I knew well, I have had to use the nursing home physician who practices 3 cities away from where I live. Not a great time to be shopping around for a long term physitian and specialists. This has been a profound challenge, adjusting to being home as a new paraplegic who needs continued care. I have tried talking with the office staff at this office to see if we could mediate whatever the concerns were that they had. I have felt like the treatment from their front office and the silence from Dr. Saddiq himself has been less than kind this last year. I thought long and hard before writing this review, but in light of the way that I have been treated in the last attempts to discuss this with them I came to the conclusion that this review is long overdue. I find myself wondering what happened to the wonderful physician that I used to work with in this office? What did I do wrong? In full disclosure, I would've been a bit of a project when I first came out of the nursing home. I need orders for durable medical equipment, changes in medication, help withdrawing from pain meds. And home health care. I did it all successfully alone. And in May of this year I weaned myself off pain meds with no help from doctors. While I wish no ill will on this staff and I forgive them, I still feel hurt that I was left to fend for myself, deal w a broken Insurance and medical system and lost a great doctor I trusted as I recovered.

However, I was disappointed with the unnecessary delay in completing my physical clearance. The delay appeared to be caused by miscommunication and uncertainty regarding the responsibilities of the different departments. Although the X-ray was completed through another department within the same health center, the results were not initially made available to the doctor. I was also informed by the imaging department that the results would be sent to the doctor and would be available through the patient portal for the appropriate staff to access. Despite this, I had to make several phone calls and make multiple trips back and forth to the health center to ensure that the X-ray results had been received and that my clearance could move forward. This was very time-consuming, stressful, and disappointing, especially since the information was already available within the same health system. I believe clearer communication and coordination between departments could have prevented this delay and made the process much smoother for the patient. Other than this issue, I have always had a positive impression of Pomona Valley Health Centers, and it would continue to be my choice for healthcare services. I appreciate the kindness and respect shown by the staff and hope that this feedback can help improve coordination and communication for future patients.

When I went to the urgent Care, I had a horrendous lung infection. The reviews online had made it…read moresound like they had a licensed general practitioner on staff. The receptionist at the front desk was pleasant enough, but what happened in the doctors office was unbelievably bad. I never saw a physician instead I saw a unsupervised physicians assistant there was not a doctor in the facility. The medical assistant for the PA came in and began an initial intake she was nice. She had not taken my blood pressure yet. She left the room to get a different blood pressure cuff. She reentered the room with the PA. The mail PA asked me why I was there. I explained to him that I had had a lung infection going on two weeks and that it was not getting any better and that I needed something to calm down the cough., I wanted to be tested for RSV and Covid and I probably needed to have an order for a chest x-ray over at Pomona Valley Hospital. What happened next was shocking the PA told me well. We need to send you to the emergency room right away your blood pressure is 110/170! You could have a stroke or a heart attack. I looked at the nursing assistant and said well Dr. that's impossible for two reasons first I am on blood pressure medication that has kept my blood pressure very stable for over 10 years and I doubt that my blood pressure is that high. Secondly your assistant hasn't even taken my blood pressure yet. Instead of the PA apologizing and taking my blood pressure the individual double down and said well we're not going to be able to treat you at this facility. You need to go to the emergency room. When I asked why considering that the PA had not done a physical exam yet he told me that they did not have the ability to treat me at their facility. I asked to speak to the physician in charge and I was told that they did not have a physician on staff at that urgent care. I said well can you reach One via telehealth And I was told no. I asked could you please give me a prescription for a cough suppression medication or an expectorant and I was told no I began to get a little irritated, and I said at the very least you could do a physical examination order the chest x-ray a and labs so that I don't have to spend five hours at the emergency room wasting an emergency room physicians time. The PA turned around, began walking out the door and said you're going to have to go to the emergency room. I received no care at this urgent care and yet they charged my insurance company for a urgent care visit. I have actually called my insurance company and informed them of the experience and encourage them not to pay the bill. This is actually a first for me, but in the last two years I have become less and less impressed by the Pomona Valley Hospital care system and their urgent cares. It feels to me like their physicians and their PAs need more training. The PAs need supervision and guidance from a more experienced, licensed medical professional based on this experience, I would never go back to La Verne Pvhc Urgent Care. I actually went to another urgent care that is not part of the pvhc system the next day and received high-end quality urgent care from a pa under the direct supervision of a doctor. What I would expect from a Urgent doctors appointment. It turned out that I had RSV , I was immediately given cough medicine and supportive care, advice and I was treated and made a full recovery. It is unfortunate that I had to go to two urgent care to get the actual care that I needed so I really hope that my insurance company does not pay them for this visit because they did nothing to deserve a financial reward. The only reason that I am giving them two stars is because the receptionist at the front desk was very nice.
