GET IT IN WRITING AND WATCH FOR UNAUTHORIZED WORK..... Looking at reviews, it seems I'm not the only one.... I was out of town and had my car break down in Albert Lea. I had it towed to Wuerflein Chevrolet Dealer, and was relieved when they told me the repairs would be covered by my warranty company. The service people did the repairs and got it on the road for me. I appreciate their hard work, or this would be a one star. The problem I had was when it was being finished. First, they called and told me my brakes were bad and "might make it back to Kansas City". This seemed odd to me since I live in a state that has annual inspections. The state had just measured my brakes to pass the inspection. The bigger issue came when I showed up to pick the car up. I was expecting the $100 warranty deductible, and they handed me a bill for several hundred dollars. They apparently cleaned an area that they said would not be covered by warranty. If it was refused, maybe it is something that should have been included in the over $3000 they charged for the parts install? At no time did they tell me they were doing several hundred dollars of unauthorized "cleaning". I would have asked my mechanic before authorizing it, and could have been more prepared if I had known that charge was added on. Even stranger, the guys would not give me a receipt for the cash I gave them. I don't know a business that is legitimately running and doesn't give receipts, especially for several hundred in cash. Is that normal for Minnesota? My family has been in Albert Lea for over thirty years, and I have never heard of not giving receipts. I don't know if they just don't do that, did they pocket my money, or are they just hiding from #DeptOfRevenue? read more

My girlfriend recently went in to get her oil fixed cause of a winter weather accident, they fixed that problem but she couldn't get it day of and when she went to get it the next day she could tell her brakes were wrong but that couldn't be right her inspection sheet said all of her brake systems and brake pads had been inspected and they were good. So now a few days later after they took the car back they say that the rotors and brake pads are mysteriously bad and warped and worn down and they have no idea cause when they test drove it they said it was okay and everything was good. My advice avoid this place like the black plague unless you wanna continue to spend an exuberant amount of money for them to continue to make you come back and keep getting repairs. When she picked her car up a mechanic left a big lug wrench in her passenger seat and when she went to give it back all of them started laughing so if i could id give negative stars to this awful dealership do not ever bring your car their for work!!!!! read more

Not going to lie... during the test drive I was so turned off by this dealer that I didn't really want to come back... two 20 somethings walking into a dealership to look at a 5 year old car over $10,000... he sized us up right away and assumed that we weren't planning on buying anything. Little did he know, we test drove the car that my partner fell in love with. A 2008 Ford Taurus Limited, with literally every option besides the navigation/sync system. Three days later we made our way back to the dealership to talk numbers much to the chagrin of the salesman. We had the downpayment (deposit), the credit app, and everything all completed and ready to pick the car up the following Monday. The process itself took much longer than was actually necessary in my opinion... They definitely use the "let them sweat it out" sales tactic to get you to agree to a higher sales amount... they knew we needed to be out of there, so the longer they had us waiting the more likely we were to just agree to an amount more to their liking. The financing went through, and we took delivery that Monday as promised. One thing that I must say, their finance manager really has it together. He was easily the best person this entire process. He had everything ready to go, he upgraded us to the higher level on the warranty package (as part of the sale), and even offered a $700 rebate on the first set of tires for the car so long as we follow the service plan. (We are absolutely planning on them). Once we had signed the paperwork the salesman let us know that if we had any problems that we could just bring the car back within the first few weeks and they would take care of it. Today we noticed the TPMS light on the dash was on, and we had also noticed that sometimes the brakelights stay on after you get out of the car. They ordered a new Brake Light Switch, and are going to monitor the tires for us free of charge!! Easy to work with (once you've broken the ice and proven you are buying), friendly finance and maintenance staff, and honestly a rather easy transition from a teenagers car into a great new(er) adult vehicle :-) I would highly recommend Vern Eide! read more

THE WORST service of any dealership in the world.What happen to this place? Service is bad.Did not fix the problem and thing missing from car ,broken,thing just trash in car. The women that was talk to said my people would not do that,well some one did.She was not nice and just more or less push me out.The Chrysler dealership will be hearing from me ,this is not the first car I got here but it is the last. Absolutely the WORST customer service!! My husband and I bought 2 vehicles and we regret the decision to ever buy from this place. The service department is by far the most rude and incompetent service department I've ever dealt with! My husband and I both participate in the tires for life program and now that I am due for tires they won't honor it. They won't fix anything under the warranty, they say nothing is wrong or they say they will see if the problem is covered and will call me and I never get a return call. They treat women and veterans like second class citizens. I hope anyone considering buying from this place reconsiders and finds a more trustworthy and respectable dealership! read more

I was having a problem with a sensor in my vehicle. I took it in and they replaced the throttle body for $329 and said the problem was fixed. The next morning the problem still existed so I returned my vehicle. They put a new battery in the for $130 and again told me the problem was fixed. The problem still existed after this so I contact Kyle in the service center to explain what was going on. He planned to talk with the techs and get back to me. Nearly a week later and I still haven't heard from Kyle and the problem isn't fixed. Awful service and $500 down the drain. read more
