I am here awaiting my first visit with this dr. My appointment is for 12:45 and the time is now…read more1:06 pm. I was on time. I hear taking off people in distant rooms. I've not seen her yet; i have no idea. All i can say is there are no Doctors in Santa Rosa so i feel like i better keep my mouth shut before i get kicked out of her services... but i was actually really to do paper work which i finished right on time at 12:44. I am a really busy person and out medical system in America is really falling a part. I'm waiting and will continue this review when she finally shows up. She's now 25 minutes late and the receptionist said nothing about her being behind today....(?). Now it's 1:10. Pm. Came out to ask and a lady says can i help you? She's the nurse practitioner and says oh I'm so sorry. I understand this dr also has another business helping people to lose weight. I'm wondering if this is a front for the other business she has to help people lose weight? It's now 1:15 and the dr came out of the other appointment, grabbed my name that was on a sticky note on the door I'm waiting in ( i purposefully left it open after i stepped out to ask what's up with my appointment timing). She did not say hi, or that she'd be right with me, just grabbed the note off the door. She looks young and nice like in

Jennifer is responsive as a concierge doctor but inexperienced, lacked compassion and empathy to me…read morefor a difficult situation. She is not the kind of person you would share difficult things for fear of criticism rather than compassion and understanding. I originally decided to work with her because I've experienced woman doctors are often more understanding, compassionate and often more curious and driven. Once I explained my thinking on what might be involved in a complicated problem and her answer was " that reminds me of medical school". She had no idea about what I thought meant even though it was basic physiology taught in medical school. I don't believe she thinks about underlying mechanisms of a problem and its symptoms but simply follows medical society rules and doesn't understand that often fails a patient. I once explained that I had medicated myself with good reason during COVID and she told me "you are not the kind of patient I want in my practice". I trusted her as I have many PCP's over the years and she threatened me and made me feel awful. That was the last straw. If you are healthy, minor issues and want simple referrals, she will be good. If you need a test, a medication for an infection or complex problem referral, forget it. She has a strong anti-medicine symptom management view. Taking too many medications is not good but don't expect anything except the basic no matter what the problem or suffering. I had a number of phone calls with her about a problem and it always got contentious. I always felt down after most discussions. That's not good. Doctors need to have compassion, avoid contentiousness at almost all cost and have some therapist like characteristics. That's not her. Not even close. If you have a complex problem, don't expect her to look at medical papers or take a serious interest. She is a very basic doctor. I spent 20 years at Kaiser and I would rate her well below any Primary Care I had there. Sorry to sound negative but that was my experience. Concierge doesn't help unless the doctors is a good one with some curiosity and critical thinking and not dogmatic.

*********Do you want to Feel Better - Physically************…read more I just got done with taking a wellness class for 16 WEEKS!! Wow - I learned so much from Nora Bulloch - she's this dynamite, very knowledgeable, super compassionate person that teaches while she understands what people go through. Her approach is about always striving for improvement, not beating yourself about it because it's life - 'if we are not trying to lose weight, then we are gaining weight in America'. {Profound Stuff}. So there's real accountability - honestly one of the best classes I've taken having to do with Weight Management, Weight Loss, and learning how to find time for exercise, eating healthy, and easier than before resistance. In fact - in my humble opinion - NORA - is so great that I took the class twice in a row, and learned so much about myself - as well as - made small improvements in my lifestyle that have stuck and I'm losing weight and have increased mobility and I don't hate myself for not being perfect. This sounds like Therapy - ha ha, but it really is great. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to lower their blood pressure, has sore knees and back, has a pouch or a ton they can't get rid of. It's not some voodoo that everyone promises. Thanks Nora!!!

I have been to NCCWB on multiple occasions to gather information for patients at our rehab facility: Petaluma Post-Acute Rehab. Every time the staff has been gracious and accommodating to my every inquiry. I stop by to hear about new classes being offered regularly so we can increase the health literacy of our patients upon discharge. They went as far as to offer on-site educational diabetes classes when I only came for some informational pamphlets, now that is above and beyond.

They had an excellent massage therapist, Jodi, who many clients--including myself--specifically requested because of her skill, kindness, and attentiveness. Unfortunately, instead of listening to their clients, the owners appeared more concerned about keeping other staff comfortable, even when the quality of service didn't compare. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend going here.

I am not a vegan, but I found this place to be absolutely wonderful to reset my system with a weeklong fast while feeling very safe and at home. There's truly nowhere in the world, that I know of, that you can get a cozy clean room in the most beautiful town I've ever seen with a 24/7 salad bar, medical supervision 4x today in your room with kind, compassionate medical providers and staff, delivered broth and juices also 4x a day, not to mention the daily cooking demonstrations, lectures, and stretching classes-for under $300 a day. Also I found the beautiful plants and fragrant flowers help you feel at peace while you heal. This is not a five-star hotel. It's a healthcare center that assists you in healing naturally, while feeling safe and supported.
