A very nice tree farm with a variety of trees. We've bought our tree here for the past few years. Everything is pretty spread out especially since parts have been cut down and need to grow back. It wasn't easy finding trees over 9 feet. but we found it.. it cost $267. There are popular sprayed trees as well. Keep in mind they don't allow tailgating which isn't good considering we are coming 2 hours away and everyone is hungry. Apparently a few customers ruined it for the masses. Our first visit and what a great experiment at Wyckoff's Christmas Tree Farm! We decided to go to a new farm this year, and we're very pleased! There was a great variety of trees, the details can be found on their website. It's very organized upon arrival with workers who show you where to park and point out the areas of different trees. I love how they put tree carts and hand saws all throughout the farm, so they are easily accessible. The trees are nicely spaced out so they are able to grow. They seem very healthy! We purchased blue spruce, and were very happy with their selection. There are many areas blocked off, I assume since they are still growing and need to mature. It's probably best they do this, to ensure proper growth and health of the trees. They have a cute store with freshly made wreaths, and all things Christmas related! It was SO cute! I'll be sure to purchase my trees and wreaths here moving fwd. The prices are a little higher than what we are use too, but I assume it's because of the care they provide to the trees and quality. Worth it to us. FYI- There are no dogs allowed or electric saws. They accept credit cards, which was nice as we didn't have cash. They shake, wrap and drill a hole into the trees. We always struggle finding the perfect Christmas tree as we have to look very late in the season as we celebrate out of town (and have to accommodate work and kids schedules) well lo and behold we found Wyckoff's and John (7th generation) on this tree farm and found the perfect tree. Even Santa would approve!! John even helped us cut it and shake the needles out and tied it to our car roof. They even have an adorable shop that sells ornaments and smells oh so Christmassy. Amazing selection of trees! Each one had a price tag on it so you know what you're paying. It's obvious that they take great care pruning and the trees and making sure that they're healthy . Not cheap ( we paid $132) but honestly - we had the tree for a month and it seemed just as healthy and fresh the day we took it down as it was the day we bought it . Very very few dropped needles . Only down side ( for us ) - no dogs allowed and we could have picked any of the first five trees we considered ... when each one is perfect it cuts the fun out just a bit ! We were there 15 minutes - there's no way you can walk out of there without your prefect tree! Very nice and informative staff - we will be back for sure . read more

I normally wouldn't drive this far for a Christmas tree but I had watched a video of their beautiful painted trees and I had to catch a glimpse for myself. I came here with my family with no intention of buying a tree. We were all curious to see the rainbow of trees we watched in the video. When you pull in, stop at the attendant in the booth. They will let you know where you can cut your own tree, where the sale trees are and where the pre-cut trees are. Trees are $10 per foot and colored trees are an additional $4 per foot. They had an entire section of the farm they were trying to clear and trees there were a fixed $30. Since we were on the hunt for their famous colored trees that's where we headed. Unfortunately we must have arrived too late in the season or day. The only colored trees they had were already cut and inside the barn. There were only a handful of trees to choose from. We loved the idea of getting something different so we chose one of the colored trees. They gave us a ticket to pay and took the tree to be wrapped. One thing to note here is that you're on your own as far as getting the tree on your car and strapped down. They do have rope to use. We've had the tree in our house for two weeks now and it still smells beautiful. Although it's painted it does not smell like paint, just like a fresh cut tree. The tree is extremely fresh and hasn't shown any signs of drying out yet. read more

First time cutting my own tree down and it was a great experience. I went during the soft opening just to get a glimpse of the process. I didn't think I would leave with a tree that day. I'm glad they had the soft opening because I'm certain it gets pack after Thanksgiving. There wasn't a lot of people on this day. The open fields of trees were beautiful. They have a little shop with ornaments and other Christmas decor. I walked the rows of trees and found the perfect tree for my small space. There were trees of all sizes and shapes and the price was reasonable. The tree was small enough for my apartment but full enough to look beautiful. They provide you with hand saws to cut the trees down. It took me about 15 min to cut through the stump. There were tree carts to pull the tree on so that it can be shaken, tied up, and put on or in your car. I really enjoyed the process. I do wish there were more staff on hand near the trees to answer any questions, maybe they are around more after Thanksgiving. Nonetheless I would recommend this tree farm if you're interested in cutting down your own Christmas tree. read more

This place is amazing! Drove 2 hours from NYC and was not disappointed the slightest. The tree selection is amazing. I did not see any colored trees but the barm where they colored them to be in use, my guess was preparing them. They do an amazing job caring for the crop and rotating the cutting fields. We were able to cut our own 6.5 ft blue spruce, at $10 dollars a foot the tree was 65, great price for how beautiful out tree is. The farm shop literally looks like it came out of a hallmark movie! Ps they were doing a great job being covid safe. Mask at all time when entering the store or wrapping up your tree. They had someone monitoring the door for capacity and opening and closing it for you so there wasn't touching and contact of the surfaces. The cashiers all had plexiglass. Yesterday was a cool sunny day perfect for a Christmas tree hunt. After several visits to other tree farms that were closed, we landed at Wyckoffs Christmas Tree Fram. Very impressed with the variety of trees and more importantly the help in harvesting the selected tree. We will return next year. read more

Love this place and the family that runs it. Been going there for 8 years now and have always brought home SOLID trees... That right. We are one of THOSE GROUPS that get there early, cut trees, tailgate and come home with between 7-11 trees each year for our group loaded in a trailer. This year, the day we had planned it was finishing raining. Was a great time, a little wet, but the heavy rain held off. When leaving, I had to go down and turn around at the end of the lot with my truck and trailer and got stuck in the mud. YUP stuck in the mud. WITHOUT any hesitation, grief or attitude, owner John came down with 2 other guys, a quad and tractor and had us out and on our way in minutes... AWESOME service... For the first time, broke down and got 2 colored trees too this year... Great for some and not for others, but my kids LOVE THEM and think it will be a new addition each year.. I DOUBT you will, but if you ever have an issue, never hesitate to call and ask for John Wyckoff. He will make it right as they appreciate their customers and want to make sure you come back. They have fresh cut for those that cant do it or want a slightly TALLER tree, and then THOUSANDS of other trees to go thru to find your perfect tree..... Sad but looks like a tradition of 20 plus years is coming to an end. Selection of trees last year and this year (2022) was not near their breadth in previous years. I attribute some of that to the popularity of the farm now and we don't go h til after Thanksgiving. However, their prices increased and are now $21-$36/foot (was looking at 7-10 ft. Trees). Honestly, would still go as it has been a wonderful tradition and it is a lovely area of the state but when we couldn't find a tree to cut, we went to the trees they cut and had up front. If we wanted to open one of the trees (cut the single strand of twine) they were charging $50 - if you bought the tree the $50 was on top of the price of the tree. If you didn't buy the tree, you still owed the $50. We asked if we bought a tree of same or greater cost would they still charge the $50... yes. No longer a place to get in the Christmas spirit. Been getting our tree here for the past ten years. Would be best to go early on the season to have a lot of selection. They do provide saw and like a hand truck or would pick up the tree for you to bring to the cashier area. They have colored trees (depending on availability) that looks cool. This is it! Every year we load up the, "family truckster" and drive the hour up 80 West to choose and cut down our family Christmas tree. Today couldn't have been more beautiful for it. Great selection of trees and bottom line-worth the hour drive each way. Their website was helpful: pricing was accurate, charging $8 per foot; pets allowed on leash; and yes, there were people tailgating in the parking lot. Who knew?!... The property is huge so I don't know if we experienced everything, it seemed like we parked on the ancillary side. We were provided a map (see pic) as we drove in, indicating where the different types of trees grew, grabbed one of their hacksaws and went out to pick and cut our tree. They have carts to haul the tree, but they were all in use when we needed one, not a big deal. We carried the tree back towards the parking lot, and were given a number from an employee, they shook and baled the tree. While they were doing this, we paid for the tree (credit cards okay). They called our number and asked if we wanted the tree drilled or squared. We had ours drilled, wasn't exactly even, so we used a different type of tree stand. The baling/paying process was super fast, took longer to write than experience. I did not see any extra rope or people to help tie down trees, this might have been available if one asked, but I wouldn't count on it without calling first. My favorite part was stopping at Mackey's Orchard down the road for their apple spiced donuts, apple dumpling and homemade soup. Yum! Went to Wyckoff for the very first time last year 2016. When we finally arrived, they were no longer painting trees. The boss was kind enough to not only allow us to pick our perfect tree he painted it for us. We were coming from really far and he extended that courtesy to us, meant so much. This establishment scores high on size and variety of trees, but low on customer service, professionalism, and over pleasantry of experience. The two individuals (two ladies) working in the gift shop were impolite, rude, and made untrue references to my three children (aged 6-8) who were with me perusing the gift shop. Stone faced and cold, the ladies were argumentative and didn't seem to mind making untrue comments about my children touching things in the store. I left without purchasing anything (including a tree) and went elsewhere where the customer experience was more positive. I would not return to this establishment. read more

I am so impressed with this farm.. we came for a purple christmas tree for my daughter. They had none when we got here we were told probably the beginning of the week. So we went got a green tree. As we were leaving they were painting more trees. We went asked them if we could exchange it and they said yes. They made a little girl so happy. Beautiful trees. Easy to cut because all paths (wide) are mowed. And no groundhog holes to fall in like at a tree farm in Mt. Bethel. My daughter and I cut her tree and laid it down in one of the "tree wagons" provided and headed for the baler. How easy was that? Oh no, it gets easier. One of the many young boys working there comes running over to pull the tree wagon for us. Then they put it on a machine that literally shakes all loose needles and maybe varmints out of the tree, then they bale it. And if that isn't enough; they put it in your truck for you. You will not get this service at some other "cut your own" tree farms. read more

Great fun sawing down our own tree. Good selection of trees and the set up works. Employees didn't seem happy to be there in near freezing temperatures but did their job. $50 for a 6.5 ft tree. Location is close to Pennsylvania border and a little off the beaten track but overall a good experience for the kids. read more
