She is friendly, really listens to her patients, goes out of her way to avoid prescribing medication when any physical, herbal, or other solution is available. Many of my friends, colleagues, and various people I have met are patients of Dr. Spalding's and they all have rave reviews too! I have heard tons of horror stories (not all were actually HORROR stories but you know what I mean, bad/rude/annoying experiences) from people about their doctors, never have I heard one about her; and since I am already a patient I don't have to worry about trying to get on her new patient list- I've heard she's booked solid! But if you are looking for a new family doc for yourself or your family, trust me that she is definitely worth giving a call- and if need be, a wait! Dr. Eaton, another doctor in that office, is also fabulous- if Dr. Spalding's patient roster is indeed full, you would be just as smart to try and get on Dr. Eaton (also a female).

I am a health care professional and know for a fact they don't have radiologist on site to read the mammograms. They hire out or state for the readings. If something is abnormal and you need a biopsy, you will end up going right back to the hospital who had performed your mammograms all along. I found the doctor at Alliance very unprofessional. The front staff weren't all that impressive, either with HIPPA violations left and right!

(One of my other doctors also told me that his daughter sees Dr. T, which definitely seemed like a good recommendation!) Dr. T is great with my son. He takes a nice, middle-of-the-road approach, I think -- not too laid-back and not too paranoid. He's always very friendly and approachable, and never makes me feel rushed. More importantly, he never makes me feel silly when I have any kind of question, no matter how trivial. He's been very cool about several of our parenting choices, like not circumcising our son and electing to delay or skip certain vaccines. (I know not all of the doctors in the office feel that way about vaccinations -- Dr. Israel definitely seems to take a stronger pro-vax approach.) We've never felt pressured or talked down to by Dr. T about any of these issues. The office is also great. I never have a long wait, and they can always get my little guy in when he's sick. The nurses and the ladies at the front desk are all wonderful. In addition, the waiting room is great -- my son just LOVES the fish tanks!

It is apparent they are only here to get their paycheck and go home every day. I am extremely discouraged and past the point of hopelessness.

I was told my results were sent out for a second opinion and that's why the doctor would not talk to me. That is lame to begin with, and as it turns our, a complete lie. They weren't. But more about that later I called the following week....three times and three days later to get a call back from a nurse who told me exactly what I found out on Google. The doctor never spoke to her. And btw, the second opinion was never requested. Oh, we'll do it now. WTF?? I called today because I have to work the day my follow up appointment is scheduled. Can the doctor just call me during that time? No Why not We don't do that But he isn't doing anything else during that time. There is no way of knowing if the referral has been processed. In my case I have severe inflammation that has caused me to stop my volunteer work, my daily routines, and my public commitments. I know the physicians are not at fault but this should have been anticipated. There are no suitable excuses if you're in pain or have impending treatments for major medical issues delayed.

He had a resident physician assisting him and did a great job as a teacher as well.
