On the positive side, our room was clean, and we felt safe during our stay. However, as a previous reviewer mentioned, this place used to be very nice but has now fallen into disrepair. The elevator was out of order, but fortunately, we were on the first floor. The hallways were humid and smelled musty, and our room also had a musty odor. We even noticed mildew on the ceiling. Aside from that, the room was clean. Unfortunately, our toilet wouldn't flush. I had to lift the lid and unstick the plastic valve several times. The shower fixtures were rusty as well. When I visited the fitness room, I found that one of the treadmills was out of service, and the one I ended up using had a broken speed button. The staff was friendly and responsive. It looks like it used to be a very nice hotel the indoor pool area looked nice online but in person it just looked kind of rundown. Our room did not have any hot water in the showers, and our fridge, television, and microwave also did not work for most of our stay. The toilet would not stop running, the game room, and bathroom were not clean, and the hit tub was closed for maintenance. Upon approaching the pool area, a resident of the hotel recommended us not to swim in the pool because it had not been cleaned in a long time. No pop vending machines were plugged in, stains on the sheets, and the front elevator was broken. The receptionist was nice though. Maybe if the fixed these things and cleaned more often it would be nicer. read more

Save your money place is trash not corporate owned it's privately owned and straight trash dirty n customer service is none existent. Laundry facility doesn't work I wouldn't stay here again. During a short weekend trip to Indiana, I did a Yelp search for hotels in the Warsaw area and found the Wyndham Garden Inn. A quick browse of the hotel pics, amenities, and pricing had me sold. I booked 2 nights here and counted the days to our vacation. This hotel is full service complete with endless features like event rooms, a ballroom, indoor/outdoor pools, an indoor whirlpool, exercise room, arcade room, a lounge, restaurant, gift shop, business room, and the hotel even has an onsite masseuse by appointment only. I didn't utilize it but the menu has fair pricing. The bed and linens are decent and the showers have good water pressure. The shower in our room had a manual multi-function shower head and the persnickety side of me took delight in its use. The only downside to our stay began the following morning when we unexpectedly awoke to a loud buzzing noise just above us. We stayed up really late the night before and the last thing we wanted to deal with was this blaring noise at 7am. It went on for a solid hour and because of it, we couldn't fall back asleep. The noise was so loud that my earplugs couldn't block out the sound! My husband contacted the front desk to find out what was going on. After a brief conversation with the front desk, we later learned the hotel hired contractors to repair the roof that morning. I understand hotels need to undergo routine maintenance from time to time, however; the Wyndham should have anticipated this and redirected guests to rooms further away from the noise prior to check in. We raised these concerns to Alex (the front desk associate) and, thankfully, he did his best to find us a room on another floor. He went above and beyond by compensating us for the inconvenience with a free buffet breakfast the next day. Despite this issue, our stay was pleasant. I loved how it had a heated indoor pool and whirlpool. These amenities are a plus when you're traveling during the winter season. The pool room had a unique western saloon style theme and the whirlpool was covered by a beautiful gazebo. It felt like a garden oasis. I enjoyed relaxing the day away under its heated currents. To the right were both an arcade room, with a pool table, and an exercise room. We spent some time in the arcade room and the machines took tokens only. There is a token machine and a token cost 25 cents. Most games were roughly 2-4 tokens a play. For our last night, we had dinner at the hotel's onsite restaurant, Palette, and the food was simply delicious. I would go into more detail but I'll save that for a separate review. If you need to do laundry, there is a laundry room on the 3rd floor and the cost is $2.25 per washer/dryer. I didn't notice if there was any laundry detergent or fabric softener there so you may need to bring your own or ask the front desk. Parking is free and so is the WiFi. Daily newspapers are complementary. If you need to print out documents or plane tickets, there is a business room on the ground floor free of use. As a whole, pricing was excellent for the amenities offered and after taxes, we spent roughly $90/night for a king sized suite. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and when we make a return visit to Indiana, we plan on choosing the Wyndham Warsaw for future stays. read more

Maid service was horrible, 4 night stay did not empty trash, gave 2 paper cups in room on arrival and never got another cup! Coffee maker was broken, 2 large towels in a room for 4, never had coffee ready at front desk, could go on but you get my point!! read more

Since the change of ownership this year the property has gone horribly down hill. Poorly maintained, poorly trained rude staff, uncleaned rooms and the restaurant is a waste of time. We actually witnessed a staff member sitting at a table with his shoes off and feet propped up lounging. We will never stay there again. It's clean and check in was easy. Location is pretty good, too. BUT, getting access to the weight room was a ridiculous chore. They told me where the weight room was at check-in. When I went to go work out there, the door had a sign telling you to go to the front desk to get a different key. Maybe mention that when checking in. Anyhow, I went to the front desk and got the key, and when I got back to the fitness center, the key didn't work. I gave up on working out. Next, the Internet. This was easily the worst Internet connection experience I have ever had at a hotel. If having access to the Internet is important to you, do not, I repeat do not, stay here. This hotel was a pleasant surprise after staying at another Wyndham hotel the previous weekend in another city that I wasn't thrilled with. The room was a decent size. The bathroom was a little small. Everything was super clean and there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room which was nice because I like my bottled water cold! It has both an indoor and outdoor pool and they were both nice. I had hot tea in the restaurant one of the mornings and the buffet looked fine considering they charge $5 for it but I wasn't hungry. The staff was friendly, the parking lot was quite large, and they have a Tesla supercharger on the side of the building. All in all this was a very positive experience. read more

Has really went down hill. 2 years ago we stayed the night for our twins birthday. Manager was the worst. He Came into pool area with an attitude and started yelling at me in front of the entire pool area on rules. Rules...mmm I follow what's posted. He and I had an exchange of words and I let him know never to speak to me like that again and we will never stay here again. Party continued okay but we left and didn't spend the night. Room was disgusting and outdated. Smelled of smoke and very dirty. Stay at the Warsaw Hampton Inn. Very disappointing at the way we were treated and the quality of the rooms. read more

My daughter plays travel softball and we have stayed here serval times during her softball career. It was our favorite spot. Sorry to say that this place has really gone down hill! I stayed here recently and was really impressed. Very helpful staff and a very spacious room (somehow they knew I was ill and needed some extra TLC because I got a room with a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace - just what this road warrior needed!) A few things I would recommend to them: the phone in my room didn't work (not a big deal). There are no recycling bins ANYWHERE (this seems to be true of Indiana in general). There were no non-dairy milk options at the breakfast buffet. Would still stay here in a heart beat! read more

Passing through, I thought a hotel would be the cleanest/safest place to use the public restroom. Signs requiring masks to be worn at all times per state mandate were posted on the front doors. I walked in and froze in my tracks-- the attendants at the front desk were not wearing masks, and neither were the two elderly guests speaking to them (not social distanced!) on the other side of it. Hmm I wonder how well they sanitize here? A hotel that hosts travelers during a pandemic and does not follow state mandates contributes to the public health crisis. A great place to drop in. Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom, great accommodations overall. The pool/game room is a throwback to earlier days when staying at a hotel was actually fun. A nice escape from the road. The attached restaurant, Bella Vitale, has amazing food. The sirloin was excellently prepared, and the lemon cake made me overeat. We don't come through Warsaw often, but if and when we do, I'll be sure to stop back in. read more

The hotel is very clean and the staff at the front desk are very friendly! The pool area is nice. The bathrooms are small and some rooms don't have a fridge or a microwave. The ac is very loud and kicks on about every five minutes. The restaurant attached is terrible. I would think about getting a new restaurant. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. My husband has been here several times due to his travels with work. It is always very clean. The staff is always very friendly. My daughter loves coming to this hotel too. The only complaint I could even possibly have is that the indoor pool is waaaaay too cold. The outdoor pool was cold as well, but it felt nice because of the heat outside. The workout facility was also very clean and didn't have that "gym sweat" smell. The breakfast down in the restaurant was good and worth the price. We will totally stay here again. read more

Maybe I have just determined that I don't like hotels very much. The front desk folks were fine, but my room was near the pool, it reeked of chlorine. Stayed here one night while taking a road trip. We checked in pretty late and the guy at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Most importantly, the room was clean. it's nothing spectacular but it was a cute place and had all the basic things you are expecting at a hotel. It was a great place for what we got. I came here recently for a two-week business trip and was very pleased with my stay. The staff here is lovely! They were super accommodating and kind. They have free delicious breakfast which consists of eggs, sausages, waffles, cereal, apples, hashbrowns, muffins and more. The Italian restaurant in the restaurant is average at best however. They have nice facilities, the pool is so adorable (in the best way possible) and the gym is small but clean and substantial. The room was not necessarily anything special but it was extremely tidy. I did have a different room my second week though and noticed that there wasn't a microwave or a fridge which I thought was odd considering my first room did have those items. My only other complaint is that the walls are not sound proof at all. I was unable to sleep on a Wednesday night as my neighbour seemed to have a bunch of people over and repeatedly kept opening and closing a door LOUDLY until 2am. No idea why. read more

My husband and I checked in Friday for a weekend getaway that we desperately needed. Upon check-in we were told that Bennigan's closed last weekend, which was the main reason that we chose this hotel. We have been several times in the past and chose this specific location because of the in-house restaurant. We were given keys to room 200, went up & the keys would not work so my husband went down & they have him keys to room 206 because they'd been having issues with that door. Friday went okay & we were able to relax. Saturday came around, breakfast is terrible & is not free so you are charged $5 per person for a less than acceptable meal that made both my husband & I sick to our stomachs. We were able to go down to the pool between check-out & check-in times & knew that it would be empty & we would be alone. The pool was freezing so we opted for the hot tub. The hot tub was okay, except for green foam floating around & we couldn't figure out what that was from, but it was gross so we got out & went back to our room. About 2pm yesterday is when everything changed & went from mediocre to horrible. There was a group of 15+ that checked in next to us & we could hear babies, children, teenagers & several adults. The children were extremely loud & it sounded like metal banging & the kids were screaming & crying. The adults were talking very loud and cursing profusely. Before too long our room smelled of cigarettes & even with the diffuser I had running in our room we couldn't get away from the smell of smoke coming into our room. My husband went down and told the front desk that our room smelled like smoke & that our neighbors were very loud & being inappropriate & asked if they could take care of it. We waited over an hour & nothing happened so my husband went back down. He was told that someone had come up & didn't smell anything in the hallway & that this person was a smoker himself so he probably wouldn't have smelled anything. The employee came up with my husband & could smell the smoke in the hallway immediately & came into our room & smelled it coming through the adjoining door. I felt bad for this employee because he was young & I can't imagine him having to confront these people, but was hoping he would help. He knocked on our neighbors door & said "there have been complaints of the smell of smoke & I'm sorry to bother you"...Then he went back downstairs. This is when the real trouble started. The neighbors got very loud, started talking about having a gun & threatening to use it, banged on our door, talked about "8 balls of coke", rolling joints & going outside to smoke pot & called their friends to tell them what room they were in & said "we are in room 208, but make sure when you get here to knock on 206 really loud & bang on their door as loud as you can". They were discussing us & we could hear every word they talked about coming to our door and confronting us & they were obviously heavily intoxicated & I was terrified. I had drank a few cocktails & knew that I couldn't drive home so I felt stuck & was literally afraid to leave the room to get help. I started packing up our stuff & told my husband that we have to leave as I could hear the people next door planning to do things to us & I wasn't going to stick around to get hurt when this was supposed to be a relaxing weekend away with my husband that turned into pure hell. Last ditch effort, my husband went back down & spoke with new manager & told her what was going on & told her that there were children in the room next door, the teenagers were intoxicated, mentioned child endangerment, underage drinking, threats of harm & that we needed help immediately. There was an employee nearby that recommended twice to call the police, but the manager said that it was the first time that she'd heard of it & that she would go up and take care of it. My husband asked that she not mention us due to the threats & told her that I was extremely anxious and afraid of these people. The manager came up, knocked on their door & said there had been complaints of noise and smoke & if there were any more complaints she would ask them to leave. This only increased my anxiety & fear & as soon as the manager got downstairs she called our room, which was very loud & was obvious that we were the ones that had complained. My husband went downstairs, demanded a new room which was refused until my husband said that he was a hotel reviewer & that this was the worst experience we've ever had then her demeanor immediately changed quickly & we were put in a tiny room on the third floor & not charged for last night. I cannot believe this experience & that this hotel & the staff allowed 15+ people in that room to terrorize us like they did not to mention allowing drug use, underage drinking, threats, smoking, etc. I felt like a prisoner in our room & will never return. This has always been our go-to hotel & I wish I could give zero stars. Police should have been called & staff fired. read more
