Been here this is the second year and it's a family camp ground that I would recommend. One of the only complaints I have is people need to shut the lids on the trash dumpsters after they're thru especially with the amount of rain we've had since the water n the stink there's billions of these little black flies and mosquito's and this would b one way to help control this problem. They're around 20+ of these large trash dumpsters and and at least one lid is open on almost all of them drawing these insects. read more

Was not impressed with the amount of small kids running all over the place driving the golf carts at hours of the night and early morning . It was none stop!!! Sounded like a gocart track not a campground. . So much for peace and quiet . And no phone service and Internet sucks. Is crazy. Only hot spot is in the snack bar while you are in having a 10 dollar cheese burger. We won't be back. Sure the putt putt golf is free and the pools and the lake. But who can afford 80 dollars a day to rent a golf cart to drive around. . read more

It's like a summer camp for literally anyone and everyone! Endless activities, food, events, music, and a lake to play in. I stayed with family at their mobile spot, beyond glamping. Get your lights and glow sticks ready, the blinkie parade is the true inspiration here and the best way to end the night. You like a theme? People need to get there kids under control it is insane on how many young kids (5-7) that run out in the middle of the road with out checking and where are there parents they are no where to be found they are unsupervised, and dont know the ways of traffic because they havent been told to ever look both ways because there parents could care less about teaching them to loon both ways, other than that its fun for all ages :) read more

Overall my family really enjoys going to Jellystone, eating fair food, listening to live music, swimming, and riding around on golf carts. However, we have been made to feel less than human, unwelcome, and constantly aware of politics and race. People ride around with giant Trump flags, confederate flags, and other offensive flags on their golf carts. This coming weekend event flyer contains racist/offensive wording. For example, there is a "little miss and master" child beauty contest. How many black people do you think are going to join that contest? Probably none! Jellystone should be a place where people can forget about politics, race, and religion for a few days. It is utterly exhausting being unable to escape that. I wish Jellystone would implement rules and think of their wording so that they don't exclude others. Make it a welcoming place where everybody can go. read more

The first time we camped at the yogi bear in Pierceton it was in July in 2018. We were welcomed by everyone that we were camping around. It was such a great experience we bought a lot on Saturday just two days after staying there for the first time. We have now been there for two years and we can't have been happier with our decision to buy a permanent lot. This is the best campground we have been to. The people are all nice and friendly. The staff is helpful and we go out of their way to help you. Just about every weekend there is live entertainment and activities for the kids to go along with a theme for that weekend. The restaurant has specials everyday and specific weekend specials to go along with the themes. We can say that the camper rental sites are great. You do need a golf cart to get around this campground is huge. Two pools, miniature golf, beach, huge playgrounds. They rent golf carts right at the campground. If you want to rent a pontoon or a boat or a kayak you can do that also. The other reviews here do not take into account how great this place is and how awesome it is to stay read more

I finally got to visit this place after many years of passing the sign on the road. What a hidden gem! This place was way bigger than I expected it to be and has such a great vibe. Really liked all of the decorations and themes of the place. The ice cream place was great also! I'd love to visit again read more

We could tell a major difference in cabins from last year to this year. We stayed in one of the newer comfort cabins last year (built a few years ago) and an older model this year (built in the early 2000's I believe). I will post pictures in the comments. 1) the older models are a few feet shorter vs the newer models and when your family is crammed into one open room a few extra feet matters. 2) the older models have much smaller fridges. I honestly don't know how they expect a family to really utilize the fridge to provide even a few days of food in that tiny thing. 3) bed in the older models are full size and queen size in the newer models. Found this out the hard way last year when we packed full size sheets because their website listed it as a double only to arrive and have a queen size bed. 4) if you get rain be prepared for ants. We were invaded with ants during our stay. We were told that they had a professional come to spray all cabins, which came with a 30 day guarantee, and they had already had them come back twice. We told them they should get their money back. I do realize when you are in nature you deal with nature I'm only wanting to prepare others. 5) all the furniture in the older cabins appear to be rummage sale finds and should really be replaced. The full size mattress was terribly uncomfortable and looked to be about 30 years old (based on the design and fabric of the mattress but I could be wrong). Couch was from the 90's, again based on the design. Table was wobbly and was terribly scratched, sticky, and looked as though someone had used it for arts and crafts. Also it only came with 2 chairs, would have been nice to have more since these cabins sleep 6 (haha). 6) we originally booked, in April, for 2 nights but changed our minds and added a 3rd night a couple of weeks later. When I called to do this the woman taking our reservation said she found our info and would add a night. We were very pleased, however on day 2 of our stay, we came back to the cabin with a note on the door stating check out was at 11. I checked my phone and sure enough I had a missed call from the manager stating we needed to pack our belongings and turn in the keys so they could get the cabin cleaned. My husband called to inquire and was met with an irate and very rude older woman stating check out was at 11 and we needed to leave. He promptly went to the ranger station and provided proof that we had already paid for 3 nights. She looked through more records and found that it was noted we had paid for a 3rd night. I totally understand making an error like this and it wouldn't have been that big of a deal except the woman was very rude to my husband for NO reason. He asked to speak to the manager and he wasn't available, nor did he make contact with us, and wasn't in the next day when he asked to speak to him again. I have seen other reviews about an older rude woman and I'm guessing we dealt with the same one. 7) activities offered were ok and the pool is decent. The lake was very nice and we rented a boat for 4 hours which was $80. The playground areas are ok but could use some attention. Overall we're giving this visit a 3. We weren't thrilled with the cabin and the woman was so rude we're questioning returning for another stay. I'm giving this review mainly for those that don't own their camping space because staying in one of the cabins for a few days is totally different than having your own space. read more

The best my family been going sins the 50 and years to come I love that place is so fun

This is our 2nd full season as lot owners. We love it here. Most everyone waves as you pass. The cafe is under new ownership and the food this year so far is really good. Can't wait for us to be able to eat in the cafe! We are now buying a park model to place in our lot because we love it so much here! This is our 2nd home for the spring summer and fall. There are rental sites available for cabins and pulling in your own RV. Thanks yogi for making this season pretty awesome even though not everything is open due to Covid. read more

Worst campgrounds ever!!! It smelled of raw sewage, the roads were washed out and full of pot holes, the dust off the roads made it hard to breath. There was trash all over and the park staff drove by it without picking it up, there was goose poop all over the beach. The staff was not friendly and not helpful. The playgrounds were old and run down. We left a day early.  I would not recommend to anyone. read more

This is the worst campground I have ever stayed in. I have never been this disappointed for a " children's campground". In the 9 days I had the following complaints. 1. Comfort Stations are far from Comfortable, they smelled of sewage and were dirty and disgusting. 2. Laundry rooms were old and did not work properly. 3. Reported that there were possible bees in the Kids Corral for younger kids and security told me that he did not see any and would notify Ranger. Playground still there and the bees. 4. In the rules, alcohol was suppose to remain at campsite. The South Pole always had adults in the pool with beer bottles and there were children in the pool as well. 5. Rented a pontoon boat once on board with my grandchildren , it had signs stating gauges do not work but any issues call the boat house???? 6. Beach was closed for two days due to the E.coli being to high and not notifying anyone who was there the day prior. Local Department of Natural Resources shut it down. 7. Golf carts running all day long up and down the roads by teenagers because nothing else to do, and definitely not following the posted speed limit of 10 mph. 8. Children's Campground? Only 2 maybe 3 things scheduled as events for the kids to do. I was at Jellystone Nashville and they had things going on all day long, for the kids. 9. There are more permanent spaces with lake homes then real camping pads for visitors. This campground is ran for the permanent residents not for the visiting guests. 10. Then we have the on grounds K & B Carts, golf cart rentals. We checked in went to pick up our golf cart, lights didn't work. Exchanged for another. I am a disabled veteran with handicap rights, they told me what to do to get my sticker. The first day at the same time, my husband was questioned in the store the same time the owner wife questioned me about where we were parking. It was liked being embarrassed twice with the conversation taken place in a public atmosphere. If that was not the topping of the great customer service, we were trying to reach someone all morning the day before we were checking out, then when we went and they were there we were once again treated like we committed a crime. This is the worst experience to date. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! But they want to ensure to have the weekend regulars have their carts. I would not recommend this campground to my enemy. read more

Where do I begin....I reserved a 3-night stay with Michelle, by phone. I was told I would receive my confirmation by e-mail. Never received it so I called, asked for it & Cheryl e-mailed it. Then Michelle called me & informed me she gave me the wrong total & that I would be charged the correct total at check-in. Once we arrived, at check-in, I wanted to confirm that our site #103 had good wifi. I was informed by Joyce that there was NO wifi. I proceeded to tell Joyce that Michelle told me, when I made the reservation, that there was wifi. Michelle was at the office when I checked in and she spoke up and said that there is wifi but I would have to pay for it. I asked Joyce what the price was for wifi. She told me she pays $40 month and it was not very good. I was never told the price for campers. I found out later it is $12 for 2 nights. That is just crazy!! Joyce continued with check-in. I gave her my credit card and my Good Sam's Card. She informed me that they do not accept Good Sam's. I told Joyce that when I made the reservation with Michelle that she told me to present my Good Sam's card at check-in & discount would be applied. Joyce asked Michelle if she told me this & Michelle's response was yes, she told me to bring my card but she said she did not even know what Good Sam's is....Really.... this is just unbelievable. So, no wifi, no Good Sams discount. I asked if we could have a discount since we had been so misrepresented. Joyce informed that she could not do that but she would have Cheryl contact me. I asked if Cheryl could come to the site to discuss this total screwed up mess. Joyce said she would leave a note for Cheryl to come to our site or call us. Well, that never happened either, in our 3-night stay. Then the "ranger" took us to our site on his go-cart, but took us in, the wrong direction. Ok, no biggie, we had to run around the campground & go to the site the correct way. Site was a grass site - not gravel - a very small, small, concrete pad - & rain expected all weekend!!! Ruts in the grass so others had gotten stuck previously. Hook-up - NO 50 amp service......that was just about it!!....I called Joyce at the office & informed her that we did not have 50 amp service & she said she would send a maintenance guy to our site. He came & was just the best guy. He informed us that there is NOT one 50 amp service site at the campground. I told him that when I called Joyce, I asked if we could be moved to a 50 amp service site & she said yes, she thought we could do that. The maintenance guy explained that there really is not any 50 amp service sites and that the office should know this. I told him that I asked for 50 amp service when I made the reservation. He said I should have never been told they have 50 amp. He said they do have sites with 2- 30 amp in one box & he would drive around to see if he could find one for us. He returned & said we could move to a new site. Thank you!!! We moved to site 88. It was a very big, nice site, but total grass. Again, rainy weekend on tap so it was risky to park a 38' trailer and a Freightliner truck on total grass. We survived the stay, did not get stuck. Thank goodness!! I do not wish this place on anyone. Some areas are nice but this campground is NOT managed very well at all. Most sites are "live-in" sites. There are not many travel trailers, 5th wheels, & not one motor home. There are many, run-down, old, trailers setting around and it is just a shame. Golf carts are everywhere, I mean all over the place, buzzing around. The only positive was the maintenance guy that helped us. He should be running the place in my opinion. The women in the office have no idea what is going on. As for Cheryl, she never contacted us during our stay. That is very bad business!! Sorry this is so long. I depend on reviews when considering a campground & felt very strongly to share this horrible experience at this place. So, so disappointed. I hope this helps fellow RV-ers. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed at. Did not even make it one night at this "trailer park." First of all their website states "Comfort Cabins." There is nothing comfortable about these cabins and they certainly are not big enough for six people. There is one sink that you must wash your hands in, wash dishes, and brush teeth all in. These cabins are so small; the isles are maybe a foot a part. There are only 2 drawers for storage. From check in until the time we left, it was an awful experience. The clerk at the office gave us the keys, card for the gate, and a paper to stick on our post. She then said someone in a golf cart would show us to our unit. We were not given a map or a list of activities for the weekend. We had no clue where things were on the property since no one told us. For example, where to take out trash, rent a golf cart, amenities, etc. Of course, we had to wait, yet there was no one else checking in at that time. The lady on the golf cart then drove by our unit and just pointed stating "There it is!" She did not stop or make sure we got in ok and everything was in order. Of course, when we entered the unit, it was pure disappointment. There was no fire ring at our site just a picnic table and charcoal grill. Our door did not close properly and we did not feel comfortable leaving valuables in the cabin, so these items were stowed in our trunk. The bed barely slept two people. Our reservations were made over 3 months prior to arrival and we asked to book beside others in our party, of course this did not happen. No wonder their website does not show the cabin interiors. Wish I had taken pics to deter future guests. It gets better. After visiting family nearby, we came back after dark. Our family member then warned us that cops sit at the gate and stop everyone who has out of state license plates. This is assuring to know, we do not break the law but I should not be harassed for choosing to stay here from out of town, especially after driving over 10 hours. After returning to the camp site at dark, we had a hard time finding our unit. As stated previously, we were never given a map at check out. I then called the office number and advised we were lost. She asked where we were, I said I do not know because the property was not well lit and you could not even read the unit numbers at night. Fortunately, we ended up leaving in the middle of the night since we were unable to sleep on the extremely thin mattresses. These accommodations were worse than a dorm room/stateroom. We were happy to find a super 8 hotel up the road that had much better accommodations for the same prices. There was a lot of room and the beds were comfortable with separate bathroom. It is a shame of the false advertising your website promises. Everything from the accommodations to the customer service was very poor and I would not recommend to anyone. Although, we took a financial loss by leaving two days early, it was well worth it. This is by far not a RESORT. read more
