The whole time she didn't offer to help us at all, and when we tried to place the items we didn't want back on the rack, she immediately grabbed them from us. We said thank you to her for helping, and she didn't respond. Checking out was a similar experience. Even though we bought an item, will never come back. Microaggressions are real and leave a horrible impression on customers. It's not hard to do the bare minimum to be polite, and they missed the mark by a long shot.

The shop is a consignment shop for high end labels and some normal labels such as Ann Taylor Loft. The owner, Wendy, is nice and helpful. I mentioned that I work part time at another high end retailer and she said she used to work at Neiman's. She was really helpful and gave me a card with the hiring manager at NM. I've always found it difficult to find suits off-the-rack, so I tend to just go bespoke. Growing up, my grandmother was a seamstress and my mom worked in a tuxedo shop for most of my childhood--I had a custom tux with tails by the time I was 4. So I'm pretty familiar with the process. I have had suits made all over the world, from the Midwest to Hong Kong. It is a dying artform. I figured that when I moved to a big city full of professionals like Boston, I wouldn't have such a tough time finding a made-to-measure place. Turns out, I was wrong. Boston is completely devoid of tailors who will make women's pantsuits. Why? I couldn't tell you. So, I frankly chose Alan because I had no other option. Was it a good decision? Yes. Alan is charming and professional. His shop has a choice location. He's very thorough. I love his dog, who is the sweetest most well-behaved animal I've seen (those with allergies be forewarned--the dog comes with the office, so medicate as necessary). His assistant is also a sweetheart. The suit took awhile to finish. Maybe 4 months altogether. But I wasn't in a rush. It fits well and I wear it on a regular basis. It came in my absolute fav garment bag. The biggest caveat is price. Suits start between $2-3k. So, while I love Alan, I'm not baller enough to fill my closet with him. If you do have that kind of cash flow, I can't recommend him highly enough.

All the fan fare was there. Great event. Everyone watches women's hockey. Going out to support and get some merch. Visited the stand outside of the balcony section 305. The line was super long. A lot of fans felt the same way. With the line so long, it was impossible to browse the merchandise but to place the order with the roaming assistance. Getting 6 t-shorts at the already outrageous price of $40 each. Buy the time I reached the cashier and with everybody rushing to check out before intermission ends and the 3rd period to start, the cashier looked through the t-shorts I have selected and without scanning the barcodes, rang up each shirt at the grand total of $300. Pushed through my credit card and onto the next customer. But then, I realized, I was charged $50 per shirt instead. By that time, I had to stand back in line to complain about the overcharge. Another 10 minutes go by and approached the cashier and complained about the overcharge, he said he could not do nothing about but I had to go down to the main store downstairs on the main lower level to getting straitened out. Got the refund for the overcharge but what a waste of time and how many other people don't realized being overcharged and getting ripped off. Won't be shopping at the Pro-Shop at the TD Garden anymore. Do your shopping online or at Dick's. At least you can get the right size, pay much less and not get ripped off.
