Stop 9 of 9 for WY, 48 overall, on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour, Amazing Brewery Race 2025 - for our 5th state win!! And we were THOSE people, unintentionally. We showed up 15min before the kitchen closed (not knowing there was or expecting there to be a kitchen) and 45min before the brewery itself closed. I can't lie, we've been crazy road-tripping it & we were, again, excited when they mentioned food. I'm not sure if the kitchen staff were as excited as us, but they didn't let on that we were putting them out, even with such a late order. We did try to be accommodating- I went so far as to say "give me anything you need to get rid of." Of course, the barkeep had already taken our orders by that point & I guess that was that. Chicken fried steak for me & a brisket wrap for the hubs - we could have (& probably should have) split either & would have had plenty to eat. We both took food with us to the hotel & we had leftovers for breakfast (2-fer). The food came up fast & the flavors were good. I appreciated the non-traditional take on the chicken fried steak. No country gravy here... she ate like schnitzel which went well with the beer! Speaking of, on to the reason for stopping, beer. Sage Creek IPA 3.75 Mountain Wheat IPA 4 Sand Coulee Red 4.25 Heart Mountain Hefe 3.75 Service couldn't be better. The brewery seems to have been something else prior. It's a little odd to wait in the hallway when staff is at the bar. I think a brewer or owner was in a table talking on the phone the whole time. The beer was 4/5. The side salad was big 5/5. The sandwich/ wraps were 3/5. A bit too much liquid or slightly chewy chicken. The Thai wrap was more like sesame. I'm a huge fan of the Mule Kicking Rye. It was the spiciest beer ever. I would have bought a 6 pack if they had them. The IPAs weren't my favorite. the wheat ipa was the best of them. The flying peanut butter stout in the can is their best overall. read more

We enjoyed the Ruebon and the patty melt both were good but small for $20 each The fires are nothing more than McDonald's fries not impressed. For the e price they could do better. Had lunch today- had the blt. It was disgusting. Bacon was not fresh and not cooked well. Mostly wilted lettuce, could barely identify the tomatoes. Have had an upset stomach since 11:45 am - no appetite since then. It used to be good food- but failing daily. read more

We've been here a few times and never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and the food is great. Quiet atmosphere with country music playing in the background. We've had burgers, salads, Ruben, onion rings, wings and fries of all kinds. All good! Great place for a laid back lunch. And If you like a brew they have an extensive menu! read more

We've been coming to wyo brew for years and the new menu with the loss of chicken fries has been devastating. We come here weekly for them and our margs. I'm hoping they take this constructive criticism because this is one of the highlighted items on their menu. I used to really like this place but things have changed and I will no longer use this business. We just had a dinner there and the fish and chips i had were absolutely the worst I have ever had and I order fish and chips a lot. Not only was the quality substandard but the quantity was miniscule. You could do better at a fast food chain than this. My wife had the taco salad and it was very average at best and quite pricey for the quality. i won't be going back here even though there aren't that many choices. What an awesome brewery and restaurant! The beers were incredible, and the food was superb. The fried pickles are an absolute must! My wife had the veggie burger, which is incredibly tough thing to pull off right, and she gave 2 thumbs up. Had a great flight of beers. Loved all the porters but you can pick from 9+ options so there's something for everyone. My favorite is the mystic monk breakfast stout (it ages in coffee barrels). Who knew we needed beer for breakfast? We're from Denver, which is second in the nation for microbreweries behind Portland. But Powell now has both of those cities beat with one brewery per 6,300 per capita. read more

The last few times we have taken our family there the service has been slow, it took over 45 minutes to get our food, and when the food did get to us half of it was burnt or undercooked. Great beer here. I started out with the Kilted Cowboy, a remarkable Scottish ale. It's one of the best Scottish ales I've had in the US, malty with a prominent peat-smoked finish. Next, I had the guest pour, the Baltic Porter from Black Tooth in Sheridan, also delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised that I went back the next day for the Bangtail Brown, a robust porter with a strong roasted-malt finish. I followed that up with the Honey Rye, a light, mildly bitter ale with spice and a hint of coriander in the finish. All said, excellent beers. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are seriously awesome. I didn't try the food. read more

Had reservations for Valentines day. Food was fantastic. The avocado rolls were amazing with their spicy dipping sauce. My wife's Filet Mignon was one of the best she's ever had - melt in your mouth and seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had the pork braid and it was seasoned fantastic and matched perfectly with the garlic mashed potatoes. All in all one of the best meals I've had in Powell in 10 years. read more

I have dined in the restaurant a handful of times, each time leaving unsatisfied. Out of the maybe 6 times I have dined at the restaurant the service was terrible. There usually are around 5 servers running every which way but serve is extremely slow. The average time to get a beverage and refill is about 15 minutes if not more even though there are at least 2-3 bar tenders. On one occasion it took about 25 minutes to get 2 beers on tap when finally asked how we were doing I mentioned that we were just about ready to walk out due to the wait, from that point on the waitress was extremely rude and defensive. One at least 3 occasions my order has been incorrect because the server doesn't write down our order. I have given this restaurant a few more chances and it continues to fall short. read more

I would strongly suggest eating somewhere else if your looking for a burger personally. On our visit the beginning was pleasant cold beer, good appetizers. But the burgers... We ordered three burgers all of the had issues. the Hawaiian burger had hair in it and was sent back to be remade when it returned there was hair fried into my onion rings. The second burger was a bacon and cheese burger upon receiving was cold and and had sighs of being frost bit even tho they pride them self's "meat is all fresh never frozen" ~from there menu. The third burger was a mushroom Swiss burger, it was also cold but on one side. And lastly we ordered a supreme pizza and the center of the pizza was doughy as if the pizza dough was made days ago. I would strongly recommend somewhere else to eat unless your looken to get DRUNK and need greasy food to shovel down for an expensive price. the amount of people missing from there at 5pm should have been a sign. read more

Half frozen fries and those that were cooked were left under heat lamp for quite a spell. Reuben was so bad that it could not be eaten by our teen - and our other kid who is a bottomless pit left half his burger because it was overcooked and about as tender as shoe leather. The wait staff was incredibly slow and we were without anything to drink for about 1/2 hour. It was our first time there and we were hopeful based on reviews but we will never go back. I had their Hawaiian burger with family here on 10/4/2017. Fabulous. Best burger I've had other than at Gordon Ramsey's in Las Vegas. Highly recommend. Only complaint was that it was so dark in there I had to use a penlight to read the menu. read more

Had the breadsticks as an appetizer - they were great but I would recommend warming the marinara sauce when served. More background music could be played so it's not so loud with people talking. Atmosphere has a lot of potential, great looking place. Food was pretty good, would be better if served hot or at least warm, instead of cold. Our server acted like he hated us. Unfortunately, we won't be in a hurry to go back, because of terrible service. I wanted to ask our server if he had some sort of problem with us. To me, a server can make or break an experience. This server definitely broke the experience. We thanked him, and he looked at us like we were a thorn in his side, and didn't say a word. He practically threw our appetizer on the table and left without saying a word. We had to corner him and ask for napkins for a finger-food appetizer. The hostess had to serve our cold meals, and get us replacement drinks that had been empty for a while. In the meantime we had watched our server rudely serve tables around us, yet not even check in on us. The servers need better training or maybe this one just needs a better attitude. read more
