They have pretty good food and a great selection of beer. I especially like their Kilted Cowboy, their version of a Scottish Red. It's a lot of fun to pour your own flight of beers and try a sample of each of them. Most recently I ordered the Beet Salad with grilled chicken. During our numerous trips to Cody,Wy we've never had the opportunity to try this taproom for a meal. Today we decided to give it a try... and so glad we did. My wife ordered a standard burger with onions, pickles , lettuce and tomato. I tried the Dr. Frickle burger: swiss cheese, fried pickle spears, lettuce, tomato,onions, and thousand island dressing. I can highly recommend the Dr Frickle, the fried pickle spears added a great little taste to the burger. We asked for both our burgers to be well done as neither of us cares for pink hamburger meat. They were cooked as requested. The fries were nothing to brag about but were pretty good. I was looking forward to visiting this place and trying the IPA. The IPA was okay. It was one of those places that you pour your own beer. The glasses were stacked up on the side at room temperature. The beer was foamy but I was afraid to pour it out since you get charged no matter what. Bottom line, not impressed. read more

Our first meal in town after a long drive. It was recommended by an employee/volunteer at the Bill Cody Dam & Visitor Center. While I was hoping for a more laid back place with old town atmosphere, this place sure made up for in service and food. The 2 women handled everything from the bar, to taking orders, delivering them, bussing tables and handling a private party in the adjacent room and they were really busy! Quite a number of kids in the room on our side. Some happy, some not, which made for a not so relaxing meal after the drive from Jackson, WY. We ordered 2 pints of the Kilted Cowboy and enjoyed them while our orders of a Philly Cheesesteak and beef on a brioche bun were being prepared. The fried dill pickle was amazing and we enjoyed our entrees and wonderful onion rings! We were certainly full. While not a relaxing atmosphere, it's a good place, with good food and great service! read more

Really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt after coming in a week ago to a half empty restaurant and being told the kitchen had an hour wait, but we were let down once again... Service was incredibly slow; it took almost 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Countless servers walked by and made eye contact but no one stopped. My husband got the teriyaki bowl, which was incredibly small (especially given the price point). I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, which was subpar with far too much buffalo sauce. My original order was declined by the kitchen, but it was left on our ticket which would normally be an easy fix, but was instead a debacle to resolve... Just far too many bobbles for the experience to be enjoyable. Not to mention, a subpar atmosphere and average drinks. We won't be back. There are far too many good places in town to waste your time here. read more

Had good service and food in the past but tonight was the worst ever. We had 7 in out group. Food came out cold. I sent my food and my son's steak back. Then was told that they were out of ribeyes. The kids didn't mind too much so we didn't send theirs back. In the end, the "front of the house" manager who up until when we got our check had remained in the back, brought us our check. She felt our return business was only worth removing the 2 items and then said how the waitress had left our food up in the kitchen for 30 minutes. Sorry but if you're in charge of the front of the restaurant you need to be up there helping out. Especially since there was only one waitress on for the entire place. We came here at the suggestion of the clerk at the nearby Holiday Inn. We tried the pretzel bites as an appetizer. They were quite possibly the best pretzel bites I have ever had. The beer cheese that accompanied it was excellent ! I had the sliders for dinner and my husband had a chicken sandwich. The beer is unique because you get a card. My wife and I stopped in here a few days ago. It's slightly off the beaten path but worth a visit--half a block off the main drag. Our waitress was outstanding--welcoming, informative and attentive. The food was tasty and lovely on the plate. Their microbrew dispensing is unique to me. They give you a magic card that keeps track of the brews you drink, pouring whatever you choose, whether an ounce or a pint, any flavor or blend thereof. We ordered food and didn't receive it. 30 minutes later the waitress asked if we ordered, I politely reminded her of the order. We waited at least another 15-20 minutes to receive our appetizer.
