We found this cute little place while we were visiting Red Lodge. Since it was a beautiful day, we decided to sit outside. They have a nice courtyard patio with lots of tables and also some yard games to keep the kids occupied. We traveled with a group of eight and it was easy to find seating. What an experience! Woohoo! Buckle up for some fun in failures and people watching. The pizza will surprise you in that the crust faintly tastes like a cinnamon roll. They likely don't wash the baking pans after making cinnamon pizza or rolls. Now, everything else on the menus will be awful along with the service. 1 beer took 35min to receive. The "sauce" for a salad was similar to children's play slime. The chicken nuggets were fried pieces of breading, no chicken, and almost broke my child's tooth. Thankfully taken off the bill in a way that seemed very common to the server. The arcade is 10% functional. 1 $.25 cent token successfully working and 3 being eaten. But if you like long waits bad food and people watching you're in for a treat! And oh what a show is on display! It was fun seeing everyone look around wondering where their food was after an hour of waiting, some forgot what they ordered or if they had at all. This establishment is literally the Bermuda triangle of Wyoming run solely by underage children, literally. Good luck and happy adventures searching for grand experiences in failed service! Our waitress seemed to be the only one who was actually working in this establishment and was overwhelmed, but friendly. Everyone else was just standing around. A lady, I assume the manager, came up and started belittling her in front of us. Very nasty. You cannot treat your employees like this. Had high expectations. Wait staff was ok and the place was not overly busy. Cheeseburger pizza was good. There were only two beers made by the millstone yet they advertise as a brewery. Neither of their beers were good, stout and a porter and we are fans of dark beer. Neighboring table was complaining and waitress didn't want to escalate to a manager which tells you a lot. When in Cody, do as the "Codyans" do and go to Millstone. Late dinner but everyone still served us with a smile. My daughter had a small pizza with half BBQ Chicken and half Mac N Cheese. Gotta love a place that does that combo! I had the Club Sub and we shared an order of onion rings. The bread for the sub is their pizza dough which adds a new spin to the sandwich. Great sandwich and pizza. The bartender served us (Hanna Sky?) and was super cool and gave good recommendations. I would return here again for drinks and food. Give it a try! read more

Scenes from a restaurant: 545: Arrive at Millstone pizza. There are 10 of us and morale is high. We have tickets to a 7pm show and are assured we will be in and out with plenty of time. 555: We order drinks. Playful banter with our server, who memorizes our order. A sucker for a bad pun and an average beer, I order the Huckleberry Flynn (this place doesn't serve Buffalo Bilsner). 610: Drinks arrive. 15 minutes feels a bit long given the emptiness of the space around us, but we are an optimistic bunch. The Huckleberry Flynn slays. I can see that our server is tempted to try and memorize our dinner orders but he thinks better of it. We ask if we have enough time to make our 7pm show and are assured we do. 615: Server returns with a notepad and takes our order. Nothing complicated: three pizzas, a pasta, a sub, two salads. We try to order wings but are told they don't have any boneless (which makes sense) or bone-in (which doesn't). Several other items are missing, we are told. Somehow, though, another red flag is missed. 640: Still no sign of our food, and morale is sinking. Children are asking for food. Grownups order another round of drinks. 650: A feeling of impending doom. We have asked for our food many times and have been assured each time it will be here any minute. A child cries (I think mine), stricken with hunger pains. The children's menu has long since been covered in crayon. Second round of drinks are still missing too. A groan of cursewords is muttered to my left, just out of earshot of the children. 655: I storm the kitchen. Employees are moving leisurely and three pizzas are sitting on a counter, rather forlorn looking. I ask if those are our pizzas and a saddened employee tells me the good news (yes, they are) but also the bad (two of them need to be remade). As if this is not the first time, she asks if we would like a refund. I share the news with our party, who are righteous with indignation. But the refund is processed quickly and apologies are abundant. 700: We make it to our show on time, hungry. Popcorn is ordered and the theater has beer, too. Walked in and the host was top notch! Greeted us and took us right to a table. Our waitress, Ava, was really nice and extremely polite. Food was amazing and so very delicious. We had a small Hawaiian pizza, frickles, and a kids order of Chicken Alfredo. A glass of Moscato wine and a Mexican beer. The place needs proper management. The person answered the phone with "hello" leaving me wondering if I had called a pizza place. He told me my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived at the 20 minute mark, and had to wait an additional 30 minutes while he continued to tell people their pizza would be ready in 15-20 minutes. The wait allowed me to talk to others waiting almost an hour for their orders. There were dirty cups and cleaning supplies left on the front counter, and cans of pizza sauce on display as if canned pizza sauce was something to be proud of. The pizza that I eventually got had a lot of cheese, but not much in the way of flavor. Proper management and training would make a huge difference here! read more

We wanted a little snack so ordered a small combo pizza without green peppers to share between the two of us. We seated ourselves on the patio with our pup. Waitress brought us our drinks then we never saw her again. Approximately 57 minutes later our pizza arrived by another waiter. Mind you, people seated after us received their pizza, ate it and left before ours arrived. We received the bill and went inside to pay cash because they charge an extra percentage if using credit. I went here with a group of friends and honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese -- it was completely bland, no flavor, no taste at all. My friends had pizzas, but one of them had to send theirs back twice. The second time, instead of making a new pizza with the correct order, they just threw the right sauce and toppings on top of the wrong one. Nobody at our table finished their meal because the food was just that bad. The iced tea also tasted like dish water. To add to the terrible food, the service was bottom of the barrel mediocre. We sat down, ordered soft drinks, and it took at least 20 minutes to get them and this was with only 2-3 other tables occupied. The food took forever to come out, and after our server took the order, we never saw her again. No check-ins, no refills, no introduction. The person who actually brought the bill was someone from the kitchen, not even the server. The worst part was the bill. They automatically added a 20% gratuity for our party of five. When I asked the manager why, she said it was "just the policy." But the menu clearly stated that gratuity is for parties of 12 or more. When I pointed that out, she brushed it off, saying the menu was "old." If that's the case, update it don't mislead customers and force tips, especially when the service was non-existent. On top of all this, the staff was extremely rude. While I calmly expressed my frustration as any disappointed customer would, one staff member told me, "You can't be talking to me, I'm off the shift." If you're off the shift, why are you still on the floor at the front? Then, as I was walking out, she even asked me, "What are you looking at?" -- completely unprofessional. I gave her a piece of my mind because that level of disrespect was shocking. Overall, the food was awful, the service was even worse, and the staff's attitude was downright unacceptable. Showed up at noon on 4th of July and the place was packed. No problem, that's to be expected. It was an hour wait for a table. Sounds reasonable considering the holiday. Finally get seated for a table around 1 PM, but are told we have to wait to put in food for 30 minutes because the kitchen is so backed up. Um, okay. Shouldn't your kitchen be able to serve the number of seats in your restaurant? Our poor server is doing her best to take good care of us. Keeping the drinks flowing. Brought our salads. Even brought us a free premade breakfast pizza that they had made for the parade crowd. The restaurant starts to clear out at this point. An hour into sitting around and waiting, still can't put a food order in. They're saying at least another 30 minutes before they can even put our food order in. And then another 45 minutes for the food to be made. We have a 5 year old and 2 year old who haven't eaten lunch and are starting to melt down. We call it a day. My family and I went to Millstone for lunch yesterday. We ordered two pizzas and wings for the table. We were told they didn't have boneless wings but could do chicken tenders in the sauce. We said that was fine. All the food came out at once and the chicken was set in front of my parents (good luck for me and my sister, bad luck for them). Being hungry they each grabbed a tender and started eating. Immediately they both about threw up. The chicken was completely rancid. My sister and I could smell it from across the table. My dad went rushing to the bathroom. The kitchen supervisor came out and apologized and also covered our meal. Pizza was poorly made and the spaghetti was subpar. Another item that was subpar were the mozzarella sticks which were dry and bland. The Caesar salad didn't have croutons even though they were specifically advertised with crouton. The service was awful. The waitress seemed bored and barely talked. If you think that's bad it pales in comparison to the fact that after we received our food we found out that they had ran out of cheese. Lastly, when we went to pay we had to go to the front desk and had to wait in a 15 minute line. Maybe we came on a bad night because it was rated 4.1 stars when we came and is now under 3.5 stars. Entrance is not obvious. Inside is kinda of dark like a bar. Food is a bit overpriced. Pizza is ok. I don't like the cheese they use. Its like a high water content mushy motz than a stringy oily one. The bread is ok but I think its too thick for being a hand tossed. Staff were not too enthusiastic but our server was a doll. She was sweet and seemed to be new at the job. Wings were good. Chicken tenders were pretty boring supermarket fare but fries were good. Beer available was real tasty its just a shame they had no menu around and as far as we know didn't offer samples. read more

Came in to Millstone late after a lonnngg day in Yellowstone. Arrived at 8:20pm. They close at 9pm. Only people in the place was us. Literally. Would have given 5 stars if we hadn't had to wait for 15 minutes before we just decided to "call in" our order while still waiting to be served. Lol! Came here because of the good reviews from other Yelpers. Boy y'all did not disappoint!! We were pleasantly surprised when we finally got our meal. The Hawaiian was excellent! The chicken Cesar with dressing on the side was GREAT!!! The wine we ordered perfect! Would highly recommend for the pizza and ambiance! Fun little place I can see why people like it here. The restaurant is on a corner lot kinda confusing on where the door was, once got in there was greeted my two ladies but wasn't impressed by one with hickeys all over her neck, that was very unprofessional she tried to cover with the menu .. once got to the table the server we had was very nice and friendly . The restaurant was pretty big on the inside. Open bar with huge tv, there was some locals in there that made it good they were joking with the bartender and so forth. Ordered the Garlic breadsticks were pretty good and ordered a large pepperoni and roasted garlic pizza which was amazing they cut it into like 12 slices that were perfect. They also offered ranch which not many places do usually you have to ask. Once our dinner was almost over the manger seem to get into it with some teen age girls because the girls did something to the point the manger was saying she was going to call the police. Maybe about 10 mins later when we plan on leaving one of the girls mom came in and was treated the manger and which made our experience alittle weird . The mother had the manger say sorry to the teenage girls that were being completely rude to the manger and staff. I didn't like how the mother handled it and was letting her daughter continue with her bad behavior.. The manger shouldn't have to say sorry for anything when the girls were doing wrong in the restaurant.. That was kinda one of the downs of restaurant. And on why not a 5 Star. When out of Towners come to your city they want to have a good time and experience. But other then all of that the food was good and the girl bus girl was really great!! Finding places for me to eat (vegan/plant based) isn't always the easiest thing, however I can typically win with pizza. We were in town for the day and this was a good location as we were headed to the Buffalo Bill museum. I ordered some fried pickle chips (not bad) and a pretzel for us to start. I was not expecting the saltless pretzel to be slathered in cheese and bacon. I thought it would be a dip. The server was very nice and took it back and brought us a new one with everything on side. I want to say that although the pretzel had zero salt on it, it still had nice flavor and I was happy for it not to be covered in salt. My daughter had a pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. She actually ended up adding the pretzel bacon to her pizza. She loved it. It looked very good and was the perfect size. My husband had the Cobb salad with no blue cheese. He said the chicken was very well done and he enjoyed it. I had the veggie pizza with a slight modification. No cheese and change the black olives to green olives. The pizza was very good. It had the perfect ratio of veggies to dough. Too much and it just isn't tasty. Why the 3 vs 4 stars? Service and the bill. I was charged for the green olives even though I removed cheese and black olives. When I questioned it, she just said "oops, I do that all the time." It was fixed, but I felt like she was doing me a favor and had I not noticed, it would have just been there. Service was friendly but slow. We were in town on tour group from Yellowstone and place for lunch. It turned out to be a good choice. This is kept very clean and the service is pretty damn good. We started with the fried pickles chips and the pretzel. The pickle chips were not to heavely breaded and not over fried to a crisp. Its served with a side of ranch dressing. The pretzel came out and it was covered with cheese and bacon. Most of the time the cheese and bacon are served on the side. We sent it back and they remade it without all the stuff on it. They did not give us a hard time. The pretzel was very good. For lunch my wife and my daughter had pizza. My daughter had a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza and said it good. My wife got hers all vegetables and no cheese, she said all the vegetables were fresh and tasted very good. I had the chicken Cobb salad with out the blucheese. The egg was cooked perfect, no green yoke, the chicken was tender and the vegetables were very fresh. If in town and a good place to eat, try this one. read more
