Golftecs abound, but Jason Goodendorf makes this one location notable. A former PGA pro for a…read moredecade, Jason has a realistic and relaxed approach to the game - and a great sense of humor. Consistency is the goal. It requires focus, adjustment, and PRACTICE. Golftec technologies (video playback, simulator) and Jason's experience together offer a golfer of any level valuable insights and skills building. For all those golfers I've met who love the game even if they admit they're not that good at it, invest in having even more fun by learning to improve your game.

If you're serious about improving your handicap, get a 15 lesson package with Jason Goodendorf…read more Comes with 6 months of practice time to get you through the Ohio winter, which really helps you hone in your swing between lessons. Long gone are the times when you pay a PGA teaching pro 120.00 per hour to keep telling you to "keep your head down and watch the ball". Golftec utilizes launch monitors, golf simulators, high speed cameras, and all the latest teaching aids (that actually work) to hone in your consistent reproducible swing. Then lesson videos are placed on the player performance website that can then be downloaded to google drive or Dropbox etc to watch anytime on your iPhone/iPad or android device. In 6 lessons (after changing my grip, setup, and swing plane) and many practice sessions I feel like Ive finally found a consistent swing that's hitting the sweet spot of my irons and starting to become pretty reproducible distance control. Do yourself a favor and invest in your golf future by making a tour style swing a habit in your game today.

I have been playing for years and maintain an 8 handicap. I've hit a stage in my game where I'm as…read moregood as I can get by myself and wanted extra professional help to get my game to another level. I have long considered GolfTec and finally made the jump this year. I was connected with Max Toom as my coach and I could not say enough good about him and this GolfTec location as a whole. Best decision ever! During my swing evaluation Max really got to know me, my game, tendencies, frustrations, and goals. He developed a clear lesson plan placing me side by side with a tour pro on the monitor and pointed out good parts of my swing as well as places of focus. He also explained what he saw in my swing that causes my misses and frustrations. I purchased a 10 lesson/practice session pack which I used once each week. Max began making simple adjustments that made drastic improvements. What I really like is the data and video that gives instant feedback on what we were working on in each lesson. Max's method is easy to understand, he provides thorough explanation, and helped me make progress while not overwhelming me with too much to digest at once. We also did a club fitting along the way where we found I was hitting my 4 iron and 3 hybrid the same distance. We found that a 5 wood in place of my 3 hybrid would give me a much better yardage progression through the bag while also giving me additional options off the tee. Ultimately, I have made huge improvements and I can't wait to get on the course to see the results. I'm hitting everything longer with more accuracy, my shot dispersions are tighter, and my misses are much more playable. What I really like about Max is he gave me ways to self-diagnose on the course so I can make minor adjustments during a round if needed. I feel way more in control of my ball and have much more confidence! Max has reignited my love for the game and I can't wait for the 2025 season. If you're thinking about GolfTec - Go for it!! Ask for Max Toom!

I actually was supposed to go to the Fairlawn location but decided to give this one a try because Kevin called me right back. I was so happy with his approach that I stayed, even though it's a 40 minute drive from my house. He cares about his students and their progress. He spends extra time during the lesson making sure that you understand why the swing isn't doing what it's supposed to do or pointing out what you are doing well. He has several really good teaching aids and examples to help you understand how hit the ball the way you're supposed to. This is the first season I've played since I've gotten lessons and I already see the improvement. I understand the swing mechanics and have overcome bad habits (swinging outside to in was a big issue for me). I also got fitted for clubs at this location and Kevin made sure I got to try all the clubs I wanted and explained the best clubs for me and why I should get certain equipment. Now I love my set and am a loyal Callaway club owner. All my friends immediately commented on how much my swing has improved and I've lowered my scores on average by about 10 strokes which was my goal. If you're considering getting lessons go all in and buy the package. You won't regret it!

Made multiple comments that's ended in "you have to be a spectator" despite us paying for all 4 to golf. The woman in our group is not a pro golfer / does it for fun and mainly uses a hybrid club which she carries around (of note, this has never caused a slow game, delays; she is better and faster than 1 of the men in our group). The staff didn't like that she didn't have a bag with a full set of clubs. Additionally, someone on a golf cart came up to the group multiple times to ensure the woman in the group was not golfing, as if he was patrolling. Insane. Never experienced this before at any other MetroPark golf course. Will not be returning to Seneca. Such an upsetting experience to experience and witness such overt sexism.

I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt on multiple occasions, thinking maybe I just caught someone on a bad day, but it is clear that this toxic attitude is just how they operate every single day. During our last round, a staff member in a cart kept driving by to make condescending remarks to my girlfriend because she didn't have her own bag or clubs. She is a new player, and I brought her out to share a game I love. I understand courses worry about slow play, but our group was perfectly on pace the entire time in fact, we were actually waiting on the group ahead of us. Despite this, the guy in the cart wouldn't leave her alone. By the end of the round, I had absolutely had enough of his harassment, and we ended up getting into a confrontation. The staff here are completely out of their minds if they think this is how you treat paying customers. If you want to introduce someone to the game in a welcoming environment, avoid this place. There are much better course to enjoy .
