Had the pleasure of don chauffeuring my best friends bridal party around for not only her bachelorette party in Geneva but also around the Akron area for her big day. Don was a rockstar. On time and a true gentleman.. he helped everyone of us ladies on and off the bus in our heals. Would drive around the block to find the perfect place with minimal ice for us to exit the bus sans ice/snow. He had bottled water on the bus at all times and put up with our shenanigans with a smile on his face. Don is amazing and I would recommend him a hundred times over. The bus itself is pretty cool. It easily accommodated our party of 10 with more room to spare. As pictures show, there is a fake LED fireplace.. a little tacky but then again.. you are in a limo bus. Smooth ride. Cleveland Party Bus Rentals, BVIP, and VIP party buses are all busses that will serve you MUCH BETTER THAN PLATINUM. Picture this: you and your friends get together for a blossom concert to enjoy what you have left of the summer, and the next morning, you wake up to an email saying you will be getting charged for "Damages." When you ask what was broken, they respond that everything is functional and no damage was done. They go on and charge your account $500 and never give you the reason for doing so. I contacted my bank, and they issued me the money back, but I got a letter charging for miscellaneous fees. When we tried to contact them multiple times, there was no response to our continuous emails and calls. Seven months later, we are still dealing with the repercussions of this horrible company. TRUST THIS COMPANY. I have heard numerous reports that DIDDY parties have been held here, too. My experience with Platinum started off so well, but unfortunately when it came time to really show their customer service, their true colors showed. I had a reservation for a bachelorette group for a winery tour on May 15th. Unfortunately on May 2nd the mother of the bride was admitted to the James Cancer Center's ICU due to a complication with her battle of stage 4 lung cancer. We weren't sure how it would go, as no one does, so we waited for the bride to let us know. Unfortunately as the days passed, her mother hadn't recovered enough for the group to make it out of town. The bride was the power of medical attorney. We contacted platinum on the last possible day to get a partial refund (which we were understanding of, it's in the contract) however we were met with a complete lack of empathy or help. They said they can still bring the bus to Columbus but we would need to pay more, otherwise we would lose the money. We stated we were within the contract & the 5 days of the event & the response was "I don't have the contract in front of me, I'm not in the office." It was 4 pm at this point on a Monday after calling and dealing with them all morning. Finally we brought in a legal aid rep to call & we got a partial refund. At NO POINT was there an expression of apologies or understanding surrounding the reason why. We had to fight all day to get a partial refund. Finally, today, I was able to send a letter the social worker helping on behalf of the family sent to help with financial obligations we might not have been able to hold up on our end. I sent the letter, along with an admittedly not very nice email stating how awful the customer service had been, additionally with a link to the now viral ceremony that was held that same weekend due to the unknown of whether the mom would make it to the actual wedding stating a request for a full refund in the hopes to help our family & friends with money. The response back was almost laughable if it wasn't so heartless: "Good Morning, No further refund will be issued and I have reviewed your email carefully. Your bus was held for you, and it could have been rented to others, which caused a loss in potential business to us. This matter is closed and we wish you the best moving forward. Thank you, Dawn " my response: Dawn, Thank you for your well wishes and thoughts for the family throughout this time Sorry you lost maybe $2000. We might be losing a loved one within the next few days. Have a great day! & finally, my favorite part, the response back: "I would suggest that you concentrate what precious time you have with your loved one, vs continued pursuit of this matter. You have a great day also, Dawn" That was the first acknowledgment of the bride's mom throughout the ENTIRE ordeal of our situation & THAT was the response. Basically at this point we don't care about the money. From end to end this was a wonderful experience. We used Platinum to drive us to our wedding church rehearsal, dinner and welcome party so there were multiple stops. Booking was easy and the pre-communication was great. Michelle was our driver and she was beyond terrific. Confirming every month that this date and time would be good. Every time they emailed stating that everything is all set and that there is no issues. 1 week before our Bachelorette with 19 girls, they called to say that someone messed up and wasnt able to provide the expected transportation. After dropping the ball, I had to scramble to get this covered. I have been waiting on my refund for my down deposit and still have not received it. Too bad there's not zero stars. First of all, they did not deliver what was promised. They advertise "2 plasma screen TVs". There were none. We actually called to confirm this point prior to rental and the bus still arrived without the promised TVs. (Which were the main reason we rented from this company.) We complained to the driver, who was understanding, and clearly not at fault. Then they overcharged for the rental. Worst of all, after trying to contact them to dispute the excessive charges and they are claiming we signed a contract, and acknowledged the condition of the bus, which we did not. This has to be one of the most unprofessional services that I have ever worked it. When looking to book a limo bus for my friend's bachelor party, I decided to go with Platinum due to many of the recommendations from others and feedback found on their website. The prices were right, and it was incredibly easy to get everything set up over the phone with Max, the owner of the company, or so I thought. However, when the day arrived for us to celebrate, things took a turn for the worst. I had originally scheduled the bus to pick us up as 7pm and have it for 5 hours until midnight. After about a week and a half of the original booking, I decided to call Max and update the pickup time with him to 8pm, thus giving us the bus until 1am. The conversation on the phone lasted 30 seconds and he stated that he has updated everything and that we were all set. He called me once more a week or so later, several days before the party to confirm once more. "Just calling to make sure we are still on for Saturday." was the conversation. I agreed and that was the end of the conversation. No talks of time, price or anything else. The bus decided to show up at 7pm, the original scheduled time. I immediately asked the driver if Max has updated this time on the contract, and he had not. It didn't seem to be an issue for her as she said she had just finished a wedding and hadn't eaten her lunch she had packed yet, so she stated she would sit on the bus for a while while we organized all of the guys together. She left the impression that she was going to take care of the 8-1 bus time. 7:45 rolls around the driver comes up to the group stating that she had talked to Max and that I never called with an updated time and we only had the bus from 7-12. So, 45 minutes wasted already and there was all of a sudden no record of me calling to update the plans. So, we reluctantly got onto the bus and the driver decided to take backroads and sidestreets to get us downtown, wasting even more time. A 15-20 minute drive to Cleveland from Middleburg Heights took about 45 as we didn't reach our first destination until 8:35. It eventually got to a point where I tried contacting Max to figure out the issue with the scheduling. After leaving him a voicemail, he called me back as we had a discussion regarding the order of events that had taken place from booking to event day. He once again doesn't remember any contact in regards to the updated time and then stated that he confirmed ALL details of the trip on that Wednesday call, including pick up time and money owed. For the owner of a company to blatantly lie about words that he used is not only unprofessional, but unethical. We reached an agreement eventually due to "miscommunication" between our group and the driver, allowing us to have the bus until 1am. 15 minutes later, the phone rang again though. Max spoke with the bus driver and she gave a different interpretation of the events and denies sitting on the bus until 7:45, also stating that she told us we had to leave promptly at 7. So Max retracted his original agreement stating that we only had the bus until 7 due to our "original agreement". After trying to explain the situation AGAIN, Max states "You have the bus until midnight." and then hangs up. Sounds like a good way to treat a customer and pull in repeat business. Just hang up on them. It eventually took 4 different people from our party calling Max to eventually reach an agreement as to when we would have the bus until, and it still ended up costing us money to get the last hour of service, when I had specifically called Max weeks prior to update the agreement which he coincidentally does not have any record of. Long story short, I would recommend going with any other limo service as Max does not have a clue as to how to run a business. In a business where superior service earns you repeat business and great word of mouth advertising, he really dropped the ball here. He was quick to book the appointment and take my initial deposit, but could have cared less after the fact, as evidenced by him not updating the booking time and then allowing his driver to milk the clock once we started the trip, not to mention hanging up mid conversation with a client when trying to resolve an issue. Spend the extra few bucks and go with another service, one that will go above and beyond for its customers instead of doing the bare minimum. read more

Wow, I could not be more impressed with this service! As a groom with a million things to think about on the day of our wedding, the only thing without any complications was Platinum party bus. Our driver Tom was in constant text-message communication throughout the weekend, and he was flexible and courteous despite hosting a massive wedding party crew with multiple stops around town. After a long night of dancing, our second driver Ken did an amazing job shuttling our wedding guests back to the hotel. We used Platinum Party Bus to take us to Blossom where we went to a country concert. The bus was awesome! Driver was on time (as a matter of fact 15min early). We had 32 people on the 40-50 passenger bus - don't really think you could fit 50 people. With coolers and all 32 of us we were pretty cozy. Sound system was great! They had Bluetooth which was clutch because you could run music from your phone with ease not having to worry about adapters. The owner is very easy to work with and has lots of patience as I called him multiple times before the event to change/confirm things with the bus. read more

We used Platinum Party Bus for a group 30th birthday outing and couldn't have been happier with the service! We had the 12-14 passenger Platinum Sprinter which was the perfect size for our 9 partygoers, a cooler, snacks, and all our other junk. The bus was clean and roomy with nice lighting and had plenty of space for standing up and moving around. The provided ice, plenty of cup holders, and aux cord for blasting our music helped make the night easy and fun. We can't say enough good things about our chauffeur, Don. He was a blast, had a great sense of humor, answered his cell promptly to shuttle us around from bar to bar, and was so easy to work with. We traveled around from Ohio City to the flats (with a detour to see the Christmas lights at public square) to Lakewood to Broadview Heights, until we were dropped off for the night in Parma Heights. Everything was timed very well, we were comfortable as could be, and Don was so friendly and flexible. As we were searching for which company to go with for our event, the positive reviews and prices from you guys seemed like the best fit, and they were! I had the bus over the past weekend - the 14-16 seater Limo bus. The driver, Wade, was very pleasant for the most part - he was on time, went through everything with me, and was generally very nice. Wade and I text messaged for pick ups instead of trying to hear each other in a crowded bar. He helped us on and off the bus and was pleasant with everyone. The only thing that i was quite upset about was the fact that NO ONE TOLD ME THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD A 20% GRATUITY! That was an additional $100 NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT. And when i told him no one told me this, he just kept repeating the price, which i thought was rude. He could have at least apologized for the confusion or something, but no, just kept repeating the price like it was an ultimatum, take it or leave it. I had planned 15% or so. $100 is a lot of money for a tip - he made $20 an hour. I understand people get drunk and forget, but they should give the option to pick a percentage. What if he sucked at his job? What if he was rude? What if he ran someone over?? So, $100 an hour is NOT accurate - figure in a 20% tip that is mandatory and a big surprise. read more

However the Second time our driver was an older man who would not help us set up the Aux cord so we could play music. He did not even try to help and we spent an hour on it. I reserved a platinum party bus thru the owner he was not friendly, nor professional. The bus I was shown I did not receive and the price I was told at the time of the agreement was raised. Their are restrictions that are not explained until after a non refundable deposit is paid. Also the owner gives guidelines that are not listed in the contract and does not disclose them until your deposit is paid. The busses only travel downtown to bars. I'm almost 30 years of age myself and work colleagues do not care to party with young and wild 21 year old young adults. Good luck. read more
