The layout and challenge of the course is great, however even on the best days of weather it can be hard to find a ball that is just off the fairway (sometimes even a ball on the fairway). There are lots of weeds, dead patches of fairway, and if you hit a bad shot (or rather when), good luck finding your ball. The course is also expensive. With the condition the course is in I would expect lower prices, but they are one of the most expensive courses in the area.

All of the waitstaff were dressed impeccably and also removed any empty glasses and trash. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, which were divine, as well as the lamb kabobs. There was a third, but I cannot remember what it was. Regardless, I was not disappointed. For the meal we had a served buffet and they called people by table. I was initially apprehensive about this, but it went quickly and everyone was satisfied. We offered the roasted chicken and the prime rib. My mother's friend's husband still talk about the Prime Rib. We also had roasted potatoes and a rice pilaf. Everything was delicious. For drinks there was ice tea, water and Coke soft drinks. We elected to have a wine and beer bar, but in the middle of the reception (I believe because the size of people who attended was smaller than expected) they opened it up to a full open bar. The DJ was perfect and allowed the timing of the reception to be run efficiently without us being rushed. After my husband and I left, my mother told me that the staff was very efficient at wrapping up the cake as well as all of the presents, so she was able to enjoy the wedding without needing to clean up or get the family together afterwards. For NOVA and the DC Metro area, this place is a hidden gem and complete bargain. You get the glamor and prestige without the $50K price tag.

No guest should have to go through that. On top of that, the facilities were far from impressive. The bathrooms were dirty and poorly maintained, seating was extremely limited, and the overall condition of the property felt neglected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. Guests deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of who they are. I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and extremely disappointed.

This level of hostility from the staff is completely unacceptable. It was so bad that we left after the 9th hole because we couldn't tolerate their attitude any longer. We essentially wasted money on a full round that we didn't even finish because of how poorly we were treated. It's beyond frustrating to pay good money to play golf only to be harassed and disrespected. If you're considering this course, don't. Take your money elsewhere to a course where they actually value their customers. This place doesn't deserve your time or money. Getting home and cracking into our order - The slaw was 'ok' but seemed to be lacking depth of flavor (celery seed and pepper) and had a slightly off taste. Plus, the container was filled about half way. The beans were really good! Nice flavor, spice, and sweetness to them. Next was to try the sandwiches... My wife got the pulled chicken sandwich and as soon as she unwrapped it, she thought it was pork, as it looked chopped and was in extremely small pieces. She tried to eat it and wanted to enjoy it, but the texture was like sawdust, as it was chopped so finely. For me, I got the brisket and when I opened it, I felt like the beef was a little overdone, but the flavor was decent. The texture was tender, but slightly dry - it definitely needed sauce.
