Absolutely love the fairways and rough ain't bad either. Love the nice chunk of fairway that you can take out if you hit your irons well. We make sure we fill our divots after every shot. Bunkers are nicely maintained with soft sand as well. The drainage system is one of the best in the area. It had rained over night and until our tee time, but the course did not feel like it had rained. Kudos to the course architect and grounds keepers for doing a great job. Greens were so true to the speed of hour putt. Neither too fast nor too slow. Overall, it was a great day to play this course.

After some research, I thought @GolfHouse would be a great first experience for him since they offer junior coaching and it's similar to a video game. When I emailed them with questions, they were the most quick and complete in response than any of the other Ashburn area courses. At this point we're 3 sessions in. Coach Ju Hee is very professional and confident, but has just the right style to keep my 10 year old engaged. In each session she has walked the line effectively between correcting swing issues and helping him understand how the game works, while also keeping it fun and engaging for him, which is probably the most important part at this point. The sessions involved 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of free time in the bay which I'll sometimes use to take a few swings with my son. So far, this seems to be the right mix. Coach also shared the before/after swing photo I posted from session 2. While I'm not sure if other local coaches have this type of tech, I think this is a significant advantage because of the real-time feedback and insight it gives her into exactly what is happening. It's also great for us to see the progress he's making. Overall, I definitely would recommend @GolfHouse and Coach Ju Hee for lessons. At some point I'll probably book a bay with some of my friends who are more serious golfers during a lesson and see what they think about it.

They have a nine or 18 course option that I'll have to come back and try.

We did not know what to expect and left with a great workout, fun experience, and my wife, 4 year old daughter, and I all interested in golf. First off, the staff was amazing! Marquis has been golfing since he was 6 and gave us some quick tips that immediately improved our swing. They also had great cocktails and food and we loved having a private room where we could play music, watch the game, and play and learn at our own pace. They have multiple games including a driving range, courses, and a game where you aim at monsters (which our daughter really enjoyed). The staff provided great recommendations on each game. We immediately signed up for a subscription- the prices were really reasonable, hours are accommodating, and we envision going on our own to practice, bringing our daughter (she's been asking to go back), or going with friends. This would also be a lot of fun for corporate events or team building even if you don't golf and we are looking forward to bringing our teams in the near future. From day one, Mike took me back to the fundamentals--grip, stance, and swing. I quickly realized the importance of consistency every time I addressed the ball. As the weeks progressed, he incorporated swing analysis data and identified key areas for improvement. One major breakthrough was recognizing that I wasn't properly shifting my weight. We were assisted by Jordan and Shae who were pretty awesome. We were up on bay 307, I forgot I'm scared of heights when I requested that high bay. My family enjoyed it, that was all that mattered to me. Please believe I will be down on the 1st or 2nd floor next time! We had a great time and I look forward to returning again sooner than later!
