It is life insurance on my home which would cover roughly $200k and continue to lower the amount covered because I am paying off my house. If you are reading this, life insurance for 1 million dollar policy is like $20 a month and they were asking $230 to cover $200k... Just commission based thieving idiots, who are instructed to push you, fast, act now, dont think... If they get you over paying they earn their money. Do not listen to them, buy any insurance from the supplier directly. How could a middle man get you a cheaper rate? They need money for there thieves based business model to continue. Despite holding a CPA license, Dominique repeatedly advised us to file under incorrect statuses -- including "Head of Household" -- based on my extended military deployments. She also failed to identify a lawful qualifying dependent for that filing status, which she later admitted was inapplicable. These errors have now triggered IRS issues we are still dealing with. Even worse, although she acknowledged the filing mistakes in writing, she refuses to issue a refund for her services. A CPA is legally and ethically bound to uphold tax law -- not submit inaccurate returns just to appease a client. She also misled us into believing that filing separately and filing late would not be an issue -- both of which have led to problems. I was cancelled by Universal. They dropped me after a 3 year battle regarding a claim for roof damage from a tropical storm. It was my only claim in 25 years. Since a damaged roof cannot be insured, I reached out to Mendez & Assoc., and spoke with Al. He immediately guided me step by step on what I needed to do once my new roof was installed.
