Cliff specializes in horror, sci-fi, mystery, comics, but carries at least something from just about any other genre you can think of. Some of the older more rare books are kept in a thin plastic protectors to preserve them, and are neatly organized onto shelves. Cliff also sells a variety of collectable glassware and toys. It's best to let Cliff know what you are looking for so he can direct you to the right location. I asked him where he keeps music books and he took me right to the spot then informed me that the entire bottom shelf was full of them, but I would need to dig a little since there was three more stacks of music-related books in front of the shelf; I was in heaven, lol! There was a lot to sift through and I didn't even see it all because my wife was pulling me out before I get deep in it. Regardless, I decided on purchasing three music books: Hits of the 90's for $6; Casio Piano sound Music Library Piano Scores for $8; and Guns N' Roses Anthology for Guitar for $15. When I went to check out, I asked Cliff if he could sell me all three for $25 and he said no problem. Then he got distracted with another customer for a minute and came back to me and asked "what was I charging you again," and I replied $25 and started to pull out cash and he said "Lets just make it an even $20," wow, what an awesome guy! Thank you, Cliff! Cliff also hosts big comic events in the DeLand area, so if your interested in those types events I recommend checking out his Instagram or Facebook page since the main website is a bit outdated with all of his happenings. All-in-all, a great book store and I recommend Cliff's if you are a book lover and are in the area shopping. I will be back!

They have a good amount of used books but they also have new books. So be aware when you're purchasing books. Which ones are new and which ones are used. They don't have prices in most books so be very cognitive of what you're picking up. Don't go in expecting there is going to be all used books at used bookstore prices. I have to say this is one of the largest used bookstars visited here in central Florida. The store itself is very organized and has many selections to choose from. For well-known authors. They do have those marked on the shelves so keep an eye out for those well-known names. They also have two for babies running around and playing within the store. So if you are not a cat person or allergic, you may want to take allergy medicine or not visit at all. They have a big selection of rare and signed books. I have to return to fully check those sections out. They also sell more than books. They do sell records and knick-knacks in the store. They also sell DVDs. The staff are very friendly. They greet you as you're entering the store. And they do a great job of maintaining the bookstore as well as their fur babies. Honestly paying 30 bucks for Kristen Hannah's the women's book and 14 bucks for Abby Jimenez say you'll remember book. I feel we're a bit overpriced. Especially the Kristen Hannah book. I think the only reasons I'd come here again would be to buy they're rare or old books.

They have signage out front with the current promotions, but you can always ask as well. I have signed up to do the Camino de Santiago hike in June with several friends. This will be a push for me but I am excited in my training for the hike. I have been expanding my miles with the Brooks that I have but also realized I needed to "find my shoe" and train with that (plus have a back up). Andi got me started with two throughout assessments of my feet. I have had something similar years ago, but no where near as extensive. This alone made the visit highly valuable for me. I came in with an open mind and my goals. She was able to find 3 pairs that fit incredibly where and a whole size larger then I normally choose. The 2 Karhu will be for the hike training and the Altra are for the HIIT gym (where they have already proven to be a big improvement). Along with a sock recommendation, which feels like a perfect marriage. She even measured me for the medium knee brace to help with the gym. I look forward to coming back in the next few months to see how my feet are adapting to the training. Let it be noted, I live in Miami, where there are plenty of similar shops, but I split my time between there and Port Orange and I am always thrilled when I find a awesome place to shop up here. I'm actually a size 14!   The foot scan and gait analysis were a great help, and Andi took the time to explain everything without making me feel rushed. She helped me find the perfect pair of Hoka Gaviota 6s, and was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely wanted to make sure I left with the right shoes. I even bought some fancy shoes laces. If you've never been professionally fitted for sneakers, do yourself a favor and visit Fleet Feet in New Smyrna. Your feet will thank you... even if your ego takes a hit when you find out you've been wearing the wrong size all these years!

I gave this location three stars because there was no ac and even in October in Florida it's still hot so it didn't feel comfortable walking in to a hot store. The value and selection here is just like al other locations I just think they used and had more space to work with at this particular store. The service was good,even with kids running around enjoying all that this store offers the staff was nice. The selection of costumes was pretty good and had some good Halloween costumes and Halloween merchandise such as shirt and stuff to put out side of your house.
