Xclusive world travel???? Travelers beware, don't be scammed like myself and my group. our trip of 24 people to Dubai was the biggest failure. The trip was rescheduled 3 times and ultimately cancelled 1 month prior to departure. Anita has acknowledged dept of over $1500 balance owed. I have made a complaint on BBB as well as different groups. Next in line is legal action against Anita and Xclusive world travel. Anita will BS and delay for as long as she can. Don't be charitable to her business. This owner/business is unprofessional, demeaning, condescending, dishonest, deceitful, cannot fulfill her trips and will leave with a hole in your pocket. She is making Allianz trip insurance loose thousands of dollars with claims because instead of going on a trip you'll be putting in a claim. I have been using Xclusive World Travel for 3 years now and I have nothing but great things to say about the experience I have had on every vacation Anita has designed for me and my group. My first trip with her was a girls trip to Hawaii. Every day was well planned for the group the tours came with many fun and thoughtful surprises. We received so much more than we paid for. After that experience, we all continued to use Anita for our groups. Since that first vacation, Anita designed my group to Dubai this year in May, an unforgettable experience. We were treated like kings and queens. Anita had our rooms upgraded to Presidential Suites at Fairmont, The Palm, we had a personal chauffeur escorting our group in Bentley's, dinner was planned each night at the most luxurious restaurants and there was a different brand of wine left in our room every night. In July, she again out did herself by designing and executing my big birthday celebration in Los Cabos. I had guests fly in from all over the world. Everyone was impressed with the day to day activities, especially my birthday dinner at El Farallon. Words cannot describe this experience, it was perfection at its best. The gifts that she provided daily to the guests were remarkable. Everyone is still talking about it. I have 4 more vacations planned with Anita this year and we are so excited to see what she has planned. Everyone wants to travel with me when I tell them that I'm planning a trip and Anita is the designer, they are ready to travel. I will continue to refer customers to you. Anita's work is impeccable and I want to see her business continue to grow. I pray that she will never let anyone steal her shine. read more

My wife and I had a trip planned with the company and the could not guarantee a flight back to the U.S. For health reasons we had to cancel. We had already made a significant of payments. We tried to contact their agent "Anita" several times but no one would return our calls. They kept our money and refused to to respond in any way. I am the group leader for our group of over 145 people; classmates, family, and friends. I searched for a travel agent for our upcoming 65th birthday celebration to Punta Cana, DR in 2024. I found quite a few people who recommended Anita Canada with Xclusive World Travel, LLC. on a social media platform page for those living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I reached out to her and a few others. Based on what she told me about her experience with groups in the past and in the travel industry in general, and her warm personality, I thought she would be a good fit for our group. After my recommendation of her to our planning team, we elected to go forward with her in March 2023. I also did a search for negative reviews on the internet for Xclusive World Travel and found none at the time. Anita said that she was very knowledgeable of groups, but I soon realized that based on how she was managing our group, it was going to be a serious concern to deal with her for the next year. After having so many concerns, I started doing more research and found several reviews from other people who had bad experiences with Xclusive World Travel, including a group who had recently traveled in May 2023. After contacting them and receiving lots of documentation and information from them, we decided to cut ties with her business because we couldn't take the risk of the same issues happening with our group. Some of our main concerns and what we experienced were: (1) The quote that we received from her was higher than what we later received from the resort and what we learned later was higher than what the vendor had provided to her. I eventually approached her about it, and she continued to say it was what she was given by the vendor. It wasn't until I provided her proof that she would consider reducing the rates. (2) Payments that were setup up for automatic payment were not being processed in a timely manner and some not at all. There were several instances of payments that were requested to be processed that were not. Anita insisted that she processed the payments, but group members were not seeing payments posted to their financial institution's statement. We later found out that it appeared that she was moving funds around that were deposited for another group member's payment to cover for payments she did not process. This caused some people to have a shortage and some to have an overage. Anita seemed to have an excuse and was somewhat condescending whenever I or someone in the group expressed concerns about payments not being processed. She basically thought we were overreacting and hence, she was missing the whole point that the payments were set up for automatic payment with her for a reason, we expected them to be processed on the date we requested, not days or weeks later (or not at all) (3) We also had several people who had requested their balances to be paid in full and Anita sent invoices to them with a zero-balance and a payment credit showing on their invoices that they were paid in full, only to find out from the vendor after we moved over to the new travel agent, that they still had a balance due and their booking had not been paid in full. (4) We had one person who submitted a large payment and for some reason the payment was split into 3 random payment amounts. Anita said that the group member requested it be split 3 ways, however it was found out that she actually told the group member that she had to do it that way. The funds from one of those 3 payments were taken from his credit card account but were never posted to his booking, even though an invoice was sent to him with the payment credited to his booking. It was discovered after we cut ties with her that the payment, which was over $1100, had been transferred by her to another booking number that was not a part of our group. I honestly believed that Anita would be fair and trustworthy because of her warm personality, but after the experience we have had, I would seriously warn anyone about trusting her to handle any business related to the travel industry or that involves the handling of your funds. We cut ties with her business in July and are still working with group members to resolve issues with missing payments. PLEASE, PLEASE, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Thank God we were able to discern upfront that something was not right and did our research and parted ways with this business as soon as we could. I have used this Travel Agency for as long as it has been in business. I have had the best experiences a person would expect to have. I remember this trip to Aruba. It started out being great. A lot of people were going. I MEAN A LOT OF PEOPLE! This trip was planned a year out. Which means you have a year to pay the trip off or at or 65 days before departure...An abundance of rooms were blocked for this EPIC OCCASION. Each month, the Travel Agent sent Billing Reminders to everyone to make a payment. Did you need to make a payment every month, no. BUT YOU NEEDED TO PAY IN FULL BEFORE DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL. It's always YOUR responsibility to keep up with YOUR payments made either with your Debit Card/ Bank Statements or Credit Card/Credit Card Statements. I wouldn't take a chance on paying with a check, at the last minute, only to have it bounce and get to a place and find out I don't have room and/pay EXTRA $$$ I would have enjoyed going on this trip. I DEFINITELY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT...Pay in advance...keep up with the amounts you have paid for YOURSELF......go have fun! Before leaving for this trip, a lot of MESS started. I decided to cancel....AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR MESS. I was reading the reviews of 2 people regarding this Travel Agency. ALL THESE STATEMENTS TOTALLY FALSE. This is just a way to smear a person because of someone's foolishness. Either you have the money to pay and go or keep yourself at home. If there are problems, be a grown-up and discuss. I absolutely TRUST this Travel Agency and this Travel Agent and will always be my go-to for travel experiences. Everyone will always have an experience with a business. I wonder though, would a "white travel agency/agent" have put up with MESS. Would this group even have gotten that far with a white travel agency/agent. I THINK NOT. If I could give no stars I would! Please stay away from this travel agency, Xclusive World Travel LLC /TravelJoy / Anita Canada. We booked a trip to Aruba paid Anita Canada for our accommodations at the RIU Palace Antillas, Aruba. We arrived May 24 2023 and when we tried to check in we were told that we had a balance due of $4118.40 after we had already paid Anita $3706.35 prior to our arrival. We didn't have a choice but to pay the balance, or we would have been stranded in a foreign country with no place to stay.She said that she would refund our money but it has been nearly two months and she refuses to respond or refund the money. If you or anyone else has been scammed by Anita Canada, please report it to the BBB. Anita took over 20k from our group. read more

My family and I booked an all inclusive hotel through her for $1355 a piece in Aruba. We arrived in Aruba on 5/25/23 to check into the hotel, to find out she never paid the balance. For clarification she booked the hotel room, she just didn't pay for it with the money we paid her. We've tried reaching out to her multiple times, and she has yet to respond. We had no other choice but to pay the balance, so we could have somewhere to stay for the five days that we are here. We are now out of $9,000+ and we still haven't heard anything from her. Hopefully she rectifies this situation but from the looks of things it's not looking to good. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with her, she's unprofessional and a thief!!! read more
