Let me put it this way it was very worth driving 45 minutes out of my way to pick up this meat. Great quality. Everyone at the bbq was asking me where I got the meat from so. Shout out to Mr. Meats! I got 6 pounds of carne asada, 3 pounds chicken, and a chorizo. 104 bucks total. Fed 10 people happily! Everything was grilled on mesquite charcoal and when I said flavor house I mean damn it was good! They got it all for your bbq, sauces, tortillas I mean everything. So if you missed picking up from the local market, just know they will have it here. This was my first time so I ordered 3 packs of Chadol which is Korean sliced brisket ( my wife and I have been craving Korean bbq and this was the best thing to do without trying to be in public with the health scares). I also ordered 6 pieces of lip on rib eyes. The portions you get and pay for are really great too! I'm surprised how big the rib eyes are and the amount of chadol you get in each pack! The customer service is super great too! My main contact was nick. He's seriously the best. I placed an order on Tuesday and wasn't able to pick up until today July 3,2020. As soon as I ordered nick gave me a call to let me know it was ready, but, I was on jobs so I couldn't pick up. Nick also emailed me because I made a last minute order or rib eyes late last night. I had ordered from MTB (and their same company by a different name: Premier Meats) a few times…read more Since I live locally, you'd think it would be easy for them. Packaging is well enough-- disposable ice packs in a styrofoam box then all tucked neatly in a MTB cardboard box. The meat products are individually packaged in shrink packaging & then labelled. One delivery, the packaging leaked and meat blood spilled all over the other contents in the styrofoam box. Another delivery I was shorted. And TWICE, the meat was delivered to me ABOVE safe handling temperatures. One time, the meat gauged at over 70 degrees and another delivery, it reached 46 degrees. The delivery service should have been FIRED on the spot for that. Eating spoiled meat can be extremely dangerous. My last two deliveries (during the dead of winter) were OK..... But, I won't be going back, however, because they had a huge price jump on many of their offerings-- some nearly doubled in price. There are too many less expensive competitors that get much better reviews, and they'll be getting my business from now on. If you do order from them, don't do it in the summertime-- their delivery carrier shows up in a UNrefrigerated passenger mini-van. They are just not ready for a customer-service oriented delivery business where perishables are involved. I will say that the people I spoke to at MTB were very friendly and very apologetic about the numerous mishaps, although you need to jump through several hoops in order to to speak to anybody.
