Not really knowing what to expect I reached out prior asking for a menu. The prices seemed like quite the steal so I figured I'd give it a shot. I left the valley around 8am and it took me about 35 mins to make it to East LA. They opened at 8:30 and when I arrived there were already people waiting. The setup is you walk up and take a menu. Once you make your selections you turn in your order and they begin to prep it for you. Now what's really cool is as we were waiting they were constantly bringing out new products not on the menu and even dropped prices on some of the items already out. A guy brought out a case of grass fed ribeyes for $6/each. I got several Australian wagyu steaks for I believe $10/each and I'm talking 10-12oz. It's been a long time since I've walked away feeling like I got a steal of a deal on anything in LA but this was amazing. If you can appreciate a good steak I highly recommend you follow their IG page and look out for their sales.

I also ordered 6 pieces of lip on rib eyes. The portions you get and pay for are really great too! I'm surprised how big the rib eyes are and the amount of chadol you get in each pack! The customer service is super great too! My main contact was nick. He's seriously the best. I placed an order on Tuesday and wasn't able to pick up until today July 3,2020. As soon as I ordered nick gave me a call to let me know it was ready, but, I was on jobs so I couldn't pick up. Nick also emailed me because I made a last minute order or rib eyes late last night. Great service thank you nick! I'll definitely be ordering here again. Great people and great meat!

I had ordered from MTB (and their same company by a different name: Premier Meats) a few times…read more Since I live locally, you'd think it would be easy for them. Packaging is well enough-- disposable ice packs in a styrofoam box then all tucked neatly in a MTB cardboard box. The meat products are individually packaged in shrink packaging & then labelled. One delivery, the packaging leaked and meat blood spilled all over the other contents in the styrofoam box. Another delivery I was shorted. And TWICE, the meat was delivered to me ABOVE safe handling temperatures. One time, the meat gauged at over 70 degrees and another delivery, it reached 46 degrees. The delivery service should have been FIRED on the spot for that. Eating spoiled meat can be extremely dangerous. My last two deliveries (during the dead of winter) were OK..... But, I won't be going back, however, because they had a huge price jump on many of their offerings-- some nearly doubled in price. There are too many less expensive competitors that get much better reviews, and they'll be getting my business from now on. If you do order from them, don't do it in the summertime-- their delivery carrier shows up in a UNrefrigerated passenger mini-van. They are just not ready for a customer-service oriented delivery business where perishables are involved. I will say that the people I spoke to at MTB were very friendly and very apologetic about the numerous mishaps, although you need to jump through several hoops in order to to speak to anybody.
