I have had the worst experience with Xfinity. This company has been stealing money from me, and they have continued to do it for a year. The only reason I found out was that I went to get internet in Covington, and the gentleman informed me that I am still paying installments for a phone I don't have. Then it came to light that I was due a refund that I still haven't received. Then there was a promotion to bring your own phone from another company, and you get a free line; however, they have decided to use my existing mobile account and took the number and put it on the free line without my consent. I have called, and nobody seems to want to do anything, including the supervisor. Now this has been happening with customer service on the phone, not in-store. And I have been paying for 2 lines when one should have been free. I would not create services with this company. read more

I started experiencing intermittent service on July 31st and called customer service. A technician came on August 2nd, replaced the modem, and said the issue was resolved. However, the problem continued. Xfinity reported outside maintenance on August 8th, and after calling again on August 23rd, another tech came on the 24th. More outside maintenance was scheduled for August 28th. Despite this, I had to call again on August 30th--and then my service was cut off on September 8th, 9th, and 10th for "non-payment," even though Xfinity confirmed the issue was an area-wide problem. Even though my service was intermittent for the entire month of August, they still required full payment. The issue is still ongoing, and I requested a manager callback for updates but never received one. Overall, the service has been unreliable, the communication poor, and customer support unhelpful in resolving what they acknowledged as a system issue. read more

My service has gone out 3 times in the last 4 months, requiring a technician to come out each time. In between those technician visits, the internet service has been intermittently slowing down, and outages have been experienced when no outage has been reported. The CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I have experienced from any provider. After chatbots try to troubleshoot unsuccessfully, it takes HOURS to reach a live person to try and resolve my issue. I was then told that it would be... you guessed it... another week before I would receive an EMAIL!!! When I went back to my original post, I realized that they had switched my post from public to PRIVATE! I was on hold for one hour and 42 minutes trying to speak with a supervisor when i could not understand the customer sevice workers accent. When I go tto someone who spoke well enough to be understood her kept trying to sell me other services when all i wanted was to lower my bill. Give me a break intelligent people know buying extra things doesn't lower the price it is always added into what you pay. Tey lied to my husband who does not read well due to dyslexia. He trusted that what they said was what was on the digital contract he clicked okay and lost 125 channels he thought he was gettin because that was what he was told. NOW Xfinity appears to be a scam. Offer came in mail for $30 monthy internet. Signed up, was promised in-person help if we couldn't connect the modem, which was free and arrived in three days. No luck with set up. Calls to the same number on the mailer got us to two customer service people who said no in-person help exists and, in fact, NOW is probably being phased out. They did credit us the cost of the first month that we paid for but have never come back for the modem. How does this company stay in business??? read more

I've been doing a great job of not having alcohol on weeknights and have cut way back on the weekends as well. However, after three hours on the phone of being Ripped Off by Xfinity/Comcast, again, I'm on the verge of drinking. I held almost an hour before being connected to customer "service" and being transerrred twice - just to upgrade my plan and give them money! The agent assured me the new plan included my existing service and equipment at the new rate with no interruptions. Fast forward to getting home and discovering the tv box in my kitchen was deactivated. I was. I'm exited to live chat where I was on with them for another two hours and 7 different agents that kept disconnecting me. No resolution, of course, even after one agent noted the one box was inadvertently left off the new plan and said they would have it reactivated in 3 mins. Four more agents later, and I give up. I will attempt to cancel my service entirely with them tomorrow. The last agent appeared to get the box re-added but then sent me a work order to activate it for $12 more dollars a month, and to top it off, they added the box three times for a total of $36 a month. You can't make this level of incompetence up, folks! My saga continues with Comcast and @xfinity with ongoing Comcast Horror Stories. We need AT&T fiber in Canton, pronto. I know they would have a huge conversion of new business from this monopoly that cares less about their customers. read more

Ordered xfinity internet. They came and did not use existing cable ..okay. they laid new cable on ground and said they would bury it later. Week later the burial group appeared said they would bury and hour later we have 30 to 40 clamps screwed into our siding bare wire cables clinging foot high wrapped around the house up and down not sightly or professional at all and with metal connectors exposed . I give the cable 2 to 3 years before replacing and 5 years from all the rot that will get into the clamps. The burial team is bs they'll hang that shit anywhere they see the least work. read more

We have had Xfinity mobile for several years and never had a problem. We added our son to our account in December 2023. He got a new phone and new phone number. We didn't have any problems until about 6 months ago. We have our account set up on auto pay so it is never late. Every month, 2 days after they are paid, our sons phone stops working. It always says there is an unpaid balance. Now if that was the case, none of our phones would work but it is just his phone. I have had to call them every month for about 6 months now and I am always on the phone at least an hour every time. All they could tell me is it has been suspended and then they spend at least an hour getting it fixed and then they assure me that it will not happen again but it does. Today, I talked to Alma who didn't know anything and refused to let me talk to a supervisor for over an hour. Finally, she got a supervisor on the phone named Joy. Joy looked at our account and told me that his phone number is associated with an old past due account. How can they give us a phone number that is in collections? This is unacceptable. She said she is going to get it fixed and call me back today. We will see about that. I don't know if it will happen or not but if it happens again, we will be taking our business to another company. I also told them that they need to give us a discount on our next bill because I have spent several hours on the phone with them to get this fixed. She said she will try. I will wait to see if that happens also. I always had good things to say about Xfinity mobile but these past 6 months has changed that. read more

I had monthly payments set up through my credit card. Everything was going great until I had a fraud on my credit card. I tried to change the monthly payment to my new CC #, however it would not let me do this online or on the app. I called Xfinity customer service. After 20 minutes of them trying to get me to use the automated system (which also couldn't help me), it was like climbing Mount Everest to get a human being on the line. Finally got a human and she could not grasp what I was saying. She asked me the same questions over and over (and over) again. Nothing got resolved, it was going in a vicious cycle of zero help no matter what I tried to explain to her. This is a VERY simple request to just change my credit card number on my monthly billing. I was a fan of xfinity/comcast the last time I lived in GA in 2016. I just moved back (June 2020) and decided to get their tv and internet bundle. During install, the tech was at my place and dropped my personal router and it wouldn't turn back on. He calls his manager and tells him that he didn't drop it. Now everyone at xfinity is calling me a liar. This was of course a ploy to try to force me to rent one of their routers... Aside from that, there have been many outages and constant price hikes. Every time there is a price increase they just blame covid. Uhhh, there have been basically no restrictions in GA since May of 2020. So, that makes no sense.
