The lady named Karen is not very friendly. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who needs help with their phones.

The packaging (such that it was) had not been disturbed and they were in the exact selling condition they had been when sold to me. The clerk (I believe he is the owner), told me he "never accepts returns," but grudgingly eventually said he would refund me 75% of the charge, keeping 25% for a restocking fee. I asked where that information would have been given upon purchase. My paper receipt had nothing about it and there was no sign on the wall. He produced a separate paper listing the restocking fee, which had not been shared with me when I purchased the items. He explained tersely that he is a small business and reiterated that he never accepts returns and I should be grateful he was making an exception. So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. I don't fault his policy, but his failure to be up front about it at time of purchase is poor business practice. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/ca/resources/running-a-business/writing-store-return-policy/

To see if there is a warranty on the screen. I contacted the company, and they said there is a one-year warranty, but MF Phone had to send the screen back, and the supplier of the screen will look at the screen to see if the issue was by neglect or water damage; so, the bull they gave was that the phone was damaged. I did not drop the phone, and it did not have water damage. The screen was defective. So I will post my receipt showing the date of repair and the name and number of the company that MF purchased the screen from. When a business must buzz you in, it's up to some shady stuff. I decided to research how I repair my own phone. The video I am going to link shows they had to remove the front screen to replace the inner phone even if the front screen is not damaged. Scam! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkvMbHBZ-aE

I explained that the phone was intermittently getting HOT when charging, which leads to a fast draining of the battery as soon as it was removed from the charger. The drain takes about 2 hours, even when the phone is sitting on the desk or otherwise not being used. Miguel tried to convince me a relatively new charging/data cord, bought from a Verizon Store, was the culprit. In desperation, I tried his recommendation to buy an Apple Cord and Brick. It is still intermittently heating up when I charge it. I don't blame Miguel for that. Apple has trained him to do this. However, Miguel left helping me to go on a 15-minute break, forgot about me & moved on to the next customer when he returned from his break. I walked out. The lines were long, the techs were struggling to keep up, but lackadaisical about their time. I spoke with several people lately: friends, several other customers waiting at the Apple Store & on FB. This seems to be an ongoing issue with Apple. They apparently have a plethora of bad batteries & are making excuses instead of correcting the problem in order to keep their profit margins fat. This will be my final Apple phone. I will be using Android in the future.
