My husband visited the store one last time to return it or fix it. Not fixed and they wouldn't let us return it. The supposed owner of the store told my 81 yr old Husband to leave, to never come back and that he was calling the police. My husband left as asked but the police showed up at a nearby restaurant. No cancellation fees. No price hikes. Speeds always fast." This could not be more true. Other companies are kind of scammy and have a bunch of hidden stuff...not these guys! They are awesome! Since building my house and moving in, I have been in the biggest battle with companies to give me wifi. The city is rolling out fiber to everyone, which is causing a ton of issues for people who don't have fiber available to them yet. Essentially, companies will refuse to put wifi in because "one day I will probably have fiber". The company that rhymes with infinity was horrible to try to work with, my own cell phone carrier wouldn't help me, and the city couldn't care less either. It has been an extremely frustrating process. Wasatch Broadband was recommended to me from a friend. I reached out to Wasatch Broadband to see if they were willing to help get me wifi, but admittedly, my hopes were not that high. They responded to my text in a very timely manner and we went over the details. Y'all..these people were able to come to my house the next morning! They were there like 40 minutes early and there was a whole crew ready to work on my house. I am not entirely sure what they did but I magically have wifi in my house now. The prices are dang near unbeatable, especially for what you get. There was a whole crew that came to my house and they were all super respectful. I am so happy with the entire experience. I will be recommending Wasatch Broadband to everyone I know. I can't thank them enough!

There have been very few problems, I seldom need to reboot the router, and a few weeks ago when a piece of their equipment failed, they were at my home in a few days and replaced it. When I have called tech support I have had courteous service with little to no waiting time on the phone. All Internet providers have issues from time to time, but UBB has been very reliable for me overall.

The person I spoke to was friendly and helpful, and not "salesy". The install only took a couple hours and the technician knew what he was doing. He gave great advice regarding modems and routers and how to get started. I rented eero devices from UBB for a couple months, then bought my own when there was a good sale. It was no trouble at all to return their equipment - they came and picked it up. The service has been really fantastic. The speeds are more than we need, and I have a few dozen devices between our phones, tablets, laptops, a home computer, and a collection of smart home devices and cameras. I work from home about 80% of the time and I have no complaints!

What concerns me is that no one contacted me beforehand, left a notice, knocked on my door, or otherwise informed me that work would be taking place on my property frontage. I had seen crews working across the street to provide service to new neighbors, but I had no idea that work would also affect my yard. When I spoke with the workers, I was told this is the only access box on the street and that if additional neighbors request UTOPIA service in the future, similar work may need to be done again. In addition, the work area has obstructed access along the sidewalk. We have small children in the neighborhood who regularly ride their bikes, scooters, and play along this route. Today, the excavation and equipment created an unexpected obstacle and safety concern for children and pedestrians using the sidewalk. As a homeowner, I believe residents deserve advance notification when construction or excavation will impact their property, even if it is within a utility easement. A simple notice would have allowed neighbors to plan accordingly and be aware of any temporary disruptions or safety concerns. I would appreciate an explanation of the notification process, what steps will be taken to restore the area, and whether residents can expect additional disruptions in the future if other homeowners request UTOPIA service. In addition to the pictures from this afternoon... This wasn't just her sewer main but also their client's! So apparently their practices are most likely shady and against code. (Classic lazy Utahn business tactics.) My mom had to go stay in a hotel which she couldn't work in due to needing her Internet at home to work. She lost days of work, sleep and had the stress of her house being covered in sewage! Now, in 2014 we're paying $80/mo for 30/10 ... 4x the price for less than 1/3 the speed. And the internet. is. terrible!! It's gotten worse over time because they simply don't care. Last month I set up an outside service to ping my house every 2 minutes or so, to see how often my internet went out. It AVERAGES 6 times a DAY....and during that time there wasn't a single day my internet connection didn't drop (usually between 12 and 2am) Today, 12-13-14 (A Saturday) my internet has gone out 68 times. And it's only 8:30 PM (it dropped twice while I was writing this review) This is so stupid because who are you going to complain to? There's no accountability, and there's really nothing better. I've sent their support dozens of e-mails and have NEVER gotten a response. EVER. When you call they treat you like you're an idiot ... and YES, I have been working with computers for the last 10 years and YES I know when it's your problem and not mine. I hate Comcast, but I might just swallow my pride and subscribe because this is ridiculous. Would never recommend. Would file all kinds of complaints if they even cared.
