However, the support I received from Ilyssa calmed my nerves. She replaced my defective modem and was so so soothing with her words After several days of Friday with Xfinity she gave me reassurance that not all of their customer service workers are horrific thank you Ilyssa for everything as it meant a lot to me. The NOW Xfinity is more cost affordable, but it comes with terrible support. It's truly sad with "you get what you pay for" in real life terms. read more

My service went out in September 2025 After several attempts to get this fixed via the phone with their "offshore" phone representative. I went into this store today to return equipment (since they refused to send a mailing label. I found out that they were taking 350 dollars to collections for their 5 year old modem. I gave them their equipment and they gave me an illegible piece of paper that was supposed to serve as my receipt and charged me for a month in which I received no service! I asked for a legible receipt and the customer service representative said,"Well I can read it." Then he refused to discuss why I was still getting billed. I got up and headed towards the door when one of their customers said, "Black People are so stupid!" The store employee (Who was not black) chose to agree and give her a High Five. When I responded I was told to never engage one of their customers. And then the store manager went over to congratulate this woman for her racial slur. Had to go here for work to get a cable box for a client. Staff does not care about customers. They will make you sit there and make you wait while they have personal conversations, send text messages, and play with their phones. They are not deserving of your business. Hopefully people will read this, go somewhere else, and the store will be shut down for good and everyone will lose their jobs. Then no one else will have to suffer while trying to conduct business with Xfinity. Im shocked Xfinity keep this place around, the amount of reputational harm this store is causing their brand is shocking. Experiences like mine are why our customers are running from Xfinity. I was literally told by my customer that if we can't handle getting their box for them, they will just cancel all of their home TV, Internet, and phone services. Xfinity used to be a good company. Called to set up service at my new apartment, which includes xfinity wifi in it's amenities package. First guy took all of my information and told me I just needed to pick up the modem at this store location. When I got there the employee that "helped" me was incredibly rude and condescending. Told me I "obviously didn't call first" because I had no account set up. They were useless in assisting me with setting up an account, and had me leave the store to call and make an account instead. Called back a second time and even though they took the same exact information as the first time, I now magically have an account. Opted to get the modem shipped just so I don't have to deal with them again. read more
