I've had Comcast / Xfinity service in for many years. I have several phones on the mobile account, and each time I changed phones, the system still seems to list the original phone. With the current upgrade of my iPhone more device inaccuracies appeared including which phone I was upgrading. I decided this couldn't be solved on a phone. I visited the local Comcast store in Hillsborough, but same as with past visits they couldn't help. They referred me to Lawrenceville. With my new iPhones and all my other phones in hand, I visited the Lawrenceville store on a busy Saturday afternoon. I had to wait over 30 minutes to be served. When my name was called, I brought my bag of phones to the counter and started to explain this complicated mess to a young man named Josh D. He patiently listed to my story and said he had a similar situation with a customer earlier in the day. He was confident he could fix my problem. With all phones in hand, he began a SIM shuffle and in a little over one hour of interacting with his computer, all was corrected. During that time we had good conversation and I'm confident this young college student will be success in his life goals. But for now, if you have any problem that needs attention, I'd highly recommend going to the Lawrenceville store and asking for Joshua D. He's worth waiting for! read more

Unreliable. 1. Made a two-year contract. I was given an offer of one year free of charge for two lines. However, three months later, they refused it, saying that that the offer had expired. 2. Home internet cost doubled after one year. I was not allowed to stop the service, otherwise the phone-lines bill will be much higher cost. read more

Long wait times. My friend went in at first and I waited in the car. I was in the car for about 15 minutes and my friend came out and asked if I wanted to come in too because it was going to take long. I agreed to come inside. When I walked in , I saw there was not a lot of people in there. So my first thought was, why is it taking so long? As I sat I saw workers with customers but each customer took soooooo long working out whatever they needed to work out. So I understood the wait just didn't enjoy it. They have a television in the middle with seats near so you can watch tv while wait. That's what we did. Friend was finally called. Worker was helpful and serviced my friend. My friend didn't achieve exactly what they came for but they got answers. Place looked organized and clean. If I need their service, I guess I will be back. Dropped my Comcast box off over a year ago when I moved out of my apartment and was done with Comcast's services. Dude at the desk hands me a receipt and says I'll get my final bill in the mail. I just got a collections notice for failure to return the Comcast box. This Xfinity store has exceptional customer service which is fast, efficient and friendly. I've been here numerous times for various issues such as system upgrade, equipment return/exchange, and account information. The representatives are always very friendly and professional. They open they main door when they see customers arriving and address your concerns and needs right away. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a representative to check me in and take care of my needs. One of the customer service reps, Russ, needs a special shout out. He is always great!! The interior is also very clean, fresh and modern with an ample seating area for customers to wait. I've never really had to wait, so haven't had the opportunity to sit down on those cushy seats and watch TV. read more

Incredibly slow for getting services done. I don't know why it seems that the queue is moving very slow. I just wanted to pick up a device for the Internet and it took me more than half an hour waiting in queue. I'm actually giving it 3 stars (as opposed to 1) only because the staff is very efficient once getting off the queue. Please hire more staff at this store!! read more

As someone who lays down a bundle for the Comcast/Xfinity Bundle, the mere existence of an Xfinity retail storefront is enigmatic at best and at worst, a shallow and stunning waste of resources. Unless these strip-mall sanctuaries are housing a time portal or holographic playroom in the back, do I really need the aesthetic equivalent of a first class airport lounge to exchange a defective remote or swap out a fried modem. And while we're on the subject, what's with the twenty five minute wait to exchange a remote. Can't the "receptionist" handle the simple transactions? While the marketers at Comcast can no doubt cite ironclad research that subscribers who routinely shell out $2,500+ on their services every year are clamoring for an immersive brand experience that facilitates inner harmony... I have my doubts. To the experienced eye it just looks like an exercise in corporate ego and technology overreach - minus the in-flight champagne and warm almonds. The stores are nicely done and have certainly made the flat-screen industry ecstatic, but in reality are a completely gratuitous bauble for a content creation/distribution company who constantly moans about escalating programming costs as they turn the screws on rates. absolutely buffoonish. Under no circumstance go w security cameras through Comcast. Four trips out and they never sent somebody that could install the cameras. The one guy from hello Tech didn't want to come down the driveway saying "they don't pay me enough" because my driveway is long and gravel. multiple other times they missed appointments or sent people out that had no skill, knowledge of the problem and immediately punted. I have been to the Store a few times and always had good help, but yesterday I went with a new cell phone as my old one had died. I also have a Apple watch that worked with old and now works with the new phone. But I had to have the SIM card put in and I had to pair the watch with the new phone. Fred did all that, as well as updating the phone and the watch. I didn't know that they wouldn't say the watch needed updating. It took a lot of time, and Fred waited on others while my stuff was updating. I have never been so happy with customer service, so I am happy to tell you this! I want to be clear, all of the associates who talked to me were very nice and respectful, however they either lack training or ignore the customer needs in order to make sales and increase their quotas. A sales associate named Russell sold me a plan including mobile lines, he stated it was going to be very easy to port my lines from T-mobile to Xfinity, well that was not the case. One of my lines got stuck in Xfinity's cloud and although that was not Russell's fault he provided me wrong information by stating that the issue was going to be resolved overnight. I came back to the office two days later and he immediately put me with someone else instead of him escalating the issue (which turns out is a recurring issue with Xfinity and most likely Russell knew about). I was told by other Xfinity associates at this same location that my issue was going to be resolved in 72 hrs and that was also a lie. 6 days later Xfinity has not resolved my issue and the line is still stuck on Xfinitys end making T-mobile impossible to reinstate my number. Poorly trained staff with lack of knowledge and just thinking about what to sell you next instead of resolving customer's issues. read more

This store is temporarily closed! I went there to get a remote on June 3, 2020, after calling Xfinity customer service and having them direct me here. The next two closest Xfinity stores to this one are in Mount Laurel, NJ (295 South Route 38 exit in Wegmans/Target shopping center on Centerton Rd). I went there on June 3, 2020 also and employees are waiting outside to assist customers. The service at the Xfinity Store was great. The problem began after I transferring my mobile phone to Xfinity. They put 3 of my phones on a different account from the 4th phone. When I try to get help after half an hour of waiting they tell me they can't resolve it over the phone and I have to go back to the Xfinity Store. They won't give out the phone number for the store, so I have to travel 40 miles out of my way to get the problem resolved. I'm thinking of terminating my Mobile, Internet and Cable service all together. read more

Had a modem that had issues so we returned it. The modem we received was the same model and brand of modem. After a year later with same issues finally was allowed to return the second modem. I was told to make sure it was an arris model. When at this location asked associate for that modem she responded you'll get our latest model. When I asked again because I thought she just didn't understand and explained I was told to ask she was short and snippy and said you'll get our latest model. I couldn't get an answer. I have no idea why she acted that way. No one was rude to her in anyway. Not to mention going through over a year with wifi that worked badly. It was rude to. We have been completely disgusted with Comcast's service for years now. Today, we decided to call Comcast to see if they could give us a better deal than the garbage that we are receiving for $190 a month. They have kept me on hold until I decided that they are not hungry for business. After 20 minutes of being on hold, in order to speak to someone from the retention department, it's obvious to me that they no longer want my business. Stopped in today to exchange two basic cable boxes which was recommended "fix" by Comcast phone support. Comcast service person at the store brought out two new basic boxes but found he could not get them registered to my account in their system. He called his support line and they could not register the boxes either. They could, however, register two boxes that would cost me more per month and they offered them to me for temporary use until Comcast made it possible to register the basic boxes, which was estimated to take a couple days. Brought the "step up" boxes home and found neither would successfully activate. Tried to call the Comcast service person at the store using the numbers on the business card he had provided. The cell/mobile number on the card goes to a "not activated" message, and calling the 800 number on the card gets you to Comcast personnel who could not/would not connect me to the store. Was told stores do not take inbound calls. Have sent email to the store person explaining situation and requesting a call. Still waiting. NOT a good experience. read more
