So it's a Monday afternoon around 1:30 and I call with some questions, guy answers the phone half a sleep and mumbles the name of the company. Red flag right there, but I decided to continue like I said I was with the same cable company for seven years so I really don't know much about satellite TV. The guy on the other side of the line sounded and felt impatient and fed up with my inquires, at one point I tell him "should I call in a better time, sounds like you are busy" and what I get is this: "Why, I'm answering all your questions aint I" enough said. Sorry buddy that I am taking your time trying to give you my business. I was trying to get personal service that's what they advertise and instead I got a cold shoulder and very poor customer service. Would not recommend them at all you get much better service calling Direct TV.

Just to make people aware AT&T has a discounted program for people who receive foodstamps and are…read morelow income. It's called the Access Program. The application can be found online you can apply online as well as upload documentation needed. I believe it's only for internet services. But, it's like $10 a month for internet if you qualify. With no installation fee or anything. Xfinity has a similar program called Internet Essentials. If you live in subsidized housing, or your kids get free lunches you qualify. I found out about these programs by chance after getting connected with at&t & incurring an installation fee of $99 and a $67 bill for the worst 10 days of service I've ever experienced. Even though they approved me today through AT&T for Access program they will not take away the installation fee & will be trying to make me pay the bill for that 10 days of service..even though I had constant issues with buffering, lost connections, underperforming of internet to be able to watch tv on tv with Roku built in. Not to mention that there was a tech out to try and fix the issues 3 out of the 10 days I had service.....which they never fixed. I was on the phone with them much the other days. Xfinity has a program called internet Essentials. You can get internet for 9.99..at a lot faster speed than at&t. And you can apply over the phone. You can also purchase a computer through them for $150. THESE PROGRAMS ARE NOT ADVERTISED. COMPANIES TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CONSUMERS. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.
