I am not an Xfinity customer. I would give this specific store location 5/5 stars because the employee helped me with my urgent issue. Today, I had three Comcast technicians come to my door because they needed access to a pole that was behind my property - not on my property. Again, I am not a Comcast customer. I told them that I did not have a key to the fence that would allow them to access the pole. I told them that they needed to contact the golf course, or they needed to find another way to access the pole. This technicians ignored me and came onto my property without permission. I have three dogs, and my dogs were unsecured and could've escaped my yard. These technicians also broke a fence even more that had already been broken, leaving it unsecured. They entered my yard, placing their ladder in a precarious position, risking their own safety and putting me in a difficult situation when it comes to my homeowners insurance. They did not provide evidence of an easement where they would be able to access the utility pole. I have all of these interactions recorded on my security cameras. I tried contacting Comcast, but the contact links were either broken or sent me directly to speak with a robot. I had to come into this store to talk with a real human, and they were super helpful. While I will never have Comcast as a provider because of the terrible technicians and the horrible online customer service, this store is doing the best that they can and the employees are truly there to help people in need. read more

She was amazing and although i cant leave a review in a genuine way i was blown away by how patient she was and how she knew how things work and my resident had been dealing with an issue for more than a week with out great internet would drive anyone crazy. read more

She was super kind, patient and very knowledgeable, presenting many services I didn't even know I had. I've had some issues trying to connect with a live agent or even the chat on the Xfinity app, so I figured, I'd just come in to a store and have them assist with picking out the best plan. Little did I know that the person who was helping me was going to DISCONNECT my account. This entire experience was a nightmare. I walk in, told the lady I would like to go over my plan options. Without any questions, she pulls up my account after providing her my mobile number 2x. She tells me that I need to return my modem and I didn't know why she said that because 1, I have my own modem and 2 why would I need to return something for a plan change. So I told her again, I need to review my plan. Next thing, she tells me that she getting me a receipt. I still am lost and trying to understand what she's doing. So when she comes back to me, I tell her my purpose for coming in. She disconnected my account. Her and the manager are scrambling trying to reactivate services and in doing so, she continues to make it worse and disconnects my flex device. He took her to the back room because he knows I would've lost my mind if she was still in my face. Mind you, when I initially set this flex device up, it took 3 hours with a many customer service and IT from Xfinity to connect and get it working. I am not looking forward to that whole mess again. How does this even happen? Why didn't she ask more questions? Why didn't she try to "save" me as a customer and offer other plans available to me, my purpose of coming in. I had too many questions and getting extremely frustrated at the same time. I've worked customer service for over 20 years and that's the bare minimum! Ask the customer questions and prove what they're looking for. Just assuming that I want to disconnect my plan because you had many people coming in to disconnect their service is NOT acceptable. At this point, they probably wanted to review their account and she disconnected their accounts too without their knowledge. Her name is heather by the way. Store manager Brandon, states that she is being "talked" to but I honestly don't care scat they do with her. I care about me and what the going to happen to my account. Credits are "issued" but it has not reflected my account yet. Do not go in this store. If you do, make sure YOU ask the appropriate questions and YOU make sure they are doing their jobs right. read more

We needed to replace our modem router. Xfinity provided a new modem and an email link to set it up. But then the connection to the internet through xfinity was disconnected, so we couldn't follow the link. After an hour on the phone we were able to restore our old service and were asked to return the new modem. After waiting an hour at Xfinity to return the modem without service, we gave up and went home. Clearly xfinity has more customers than they can serve. There's a solution for this. The problem is not with xfinity employees. The problem is with management. Comcast needs a new CEO. read more

Horrible service. If you actually have an issue they will do everything to avoid helping you. Impossible to speak to a human. When you do they just claim they can't get a supervisor. Promise to call you back. They call and let the phone ring once then they hang up. They just keep saying someone will call and then nothing. Paid for a specific internet speed for 2 years. But the equipment they gave use wasn't even capable of the speeds we were paying for. When trying to address this with comcast they basically ignore us. Let me register my absolute disgust at this business. I was with them since 2016, and gradually grew to dislike them intensly, but there was so real competitor for them untill now. Google fiber turned up, and I now have a mesh wireless network with consistent performance that I love. Something I never got from Comcast or infinity . To make matters even worse, after years of bad service, poor equipment, and customer support that consisted of some badly trained techs , speaking even worse English pretending to know what they are doing, they insisted on one last bill, months after I'd left them. Not only that , they sent it to collections, and dinged my credit as their parting gift. My dearest Comcast/ xfinity , I will speak badly of you for the rest of my life, now. This store is not the problem, but the overall company is! Service was out for one full day in South Ogden. After work was completed, my family is not able to access the iPhone remote feature. System says it could take up to 4 minutes and it's been 2 days! Online chat did not resolve anything. Terrible customer support for this very expensive system. I don't recommend Xfinity for anyone! I hate Xfinity. I need to set up an appointment to have my internet issues addressed. I have done all the troubleshooting 3x I order to get to someone to setup an appointment. They finally said someone would get in touch with me - no one did so I called back waited for an hour got someone somewhere in the world and they told me I had to do all the troubleshooting a 4th time as they did not have the option to set up an appointment until I did this. What!? When I finally got someone locally they also couldn't help me and told me to go into the store. You can't even call the store, it's the same number I called to get the response above. I want to cancel my subscription because this run around is fucking ridiculous and it's compromising my ability to work, utilize my home security or check on my 87 yo mother with Alzheimer's so I can see she's safe. After 2 months with Xfinity, our WiFi started going out every other day and it would take about an hour to come back on. Finally, the WiFi went out and never turned back on. I called about three times and they kept telling me there was a service outage in my area (which I knew was not true because everyone else in our area had WiFi). When they realized they could not connect to our modem we set up an appointment for a technician to see what was going on. The technician came, only spent about 10 minutes, and just said it happens! It has been 4 day without WiFi, that doesn't just happen! I'm so frustrated. read more

Came in so much to choose from. It deals with home automation to home secure. The demos and setup was really nice right next to Ace and Staples. I had some questions and they were able to answer them. New lots of help. Just got my bill which I was expecting to be there promotional $29.99 for the first year somehow had increased to $84 unbelievable. Called to xfinity to discuss my bill so they transfered me overseas where they told me my monthly bill was $59 every month and that I had just misunderstood them. So now if I can't get this straightened out I'll have to look elsewhere. I am so disappointed. It sounded like a winner but I guess the devil is in the details. read more

Comcast and Xfinity are the worst cable service we have ever experienced. Trying to get a live person on the phone is damn near impossible and then they are absolutely not willing to help you in anyway. Switched over to Xfinity less than two years ago and I've never been so unhappy with the service provider. Sold us on a package promised a price and the price continually goes up. Switch to a new package that is supposed to stay at the same price for two years I wrote down everything they said that they promised us, we lost stars channels and now three of my boxes are not connected to the main box. I was promised in a conversation with their employee I repeatedly asked over and over again at least 3 to 4 times to make sure that nothing was going to change in my basic package she promised me promised me promised me promised me that it would not change. And of course it did so now when I call them and ask them to fix it they want to charge me more fees and make my bill higher than it was in the first place two years ago. They put you through to a supervisor and the supervisor says too bad so sad we don't have to honor what that employee told you this is what your packages and if you want your package back to what it was you have to pay more. Liars cheats and con artist look on Twitter how many people are pissed off at them and think that they suck. I'm so impressed with this place. I had canceled my subscription with xfinity because I moved and I kept getting calls telling me I still needed to return a cable box...we didn't have cable. So I went into the store to try and fix the problem. HANDS DOWN this place has the best customer service. The young man was able to help me and I was in and out within 5 minutes. Hallelujah! I've had good experiences with this store.... So why this isn't a one star review. Typically most agents here are helpful and friendly. The "Greeter" today who I believe is named Jason (Long hair, beard and mustache.... ) I can't say was. I came in to pay my bill and Jason basically didn't even say Hello. The girl in the back did welcome me and asked if I needed help. Advised I just was using the kiosk and she let me know to check in with her if I needed anything. I tried the kiosk a few times but it kept telling me I didn't have an account. I went up to the front desk and asked Jason if I could pay and he asked "Did you put your Area code in." Yes. Of course. He walked me back and put my number in for me. "Is this the number you use for Comcast." It's my only number, so yes... and at this point he was sounding a bit condescending. He asked if I had my account number which since I was just popping in after going to run some errands, no I did not. He told me he'd check me in and have someone help me. Now since I had come in, two other people had entered the store. One was being helped by the girl who had greeted me. Great I thought, since my two dogs were in the car and this was already taking more time than I liked, given that.... The girl who came in after me was helped.... so I went to talk to Jason again. I mentioned I had been there first and he just told me I had to wait my turn. But I was here first, I mentioned again, and he got surly and told me to wait my turn. At this point I asked for a manager due to his attitude and tone (Note: I've got an HR and Training background and usually sit with new reps in my office to help them understand "Soft Skills," or how to interact with customers). He said they weren't there. I asked for a card. He couldn't find one and said he needed to check these other people in before he could be bothered with me. Now one man was at the desk, so I do understand that and he had several devices.... but he then made me wait while he checked the other guy who had showed up in. He also made the point to say "The Manger KNOW ME VERY Well" as if whatever I had to say wasn't important or my experience wasn't important because the manager was his buddy. At this point I went back to a newly free rep and asked for the Manager's card. I also paid my bill. Jason then came up while I was talking to the other rep. gave me the card and continued to argue with me and tell me I needed to act like a "Reasonable human being." I'm not sure when a reasonable human being comes up to a customer and continues to berate them, but maybe I missed something in all my years on the planet. Honestly, it's not like Comcast is the only or best show in town, especially when I only have internet with them. They've already let someone order three iphone on my account from them, back east no less, and that was a mess of hoops to jump through. And though this store usually is good (though honestly I've only gone in to pay my bill or once when I was thinking about jumping cell phone plans and they could smell money on me).... I think it's Time for Google Fiber. read more

Just had one of the best customer service experiences!! I went into the Xfinity store located on 400 S Salt Lake City with little hope that they could resolve an issue I had involving my modem. I was fortunate enough to have Andrew Hall assist me. He listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and long story short I left the store a very happy customer and my faith was restored back in Xfinity. I will still never go back to the Layton, UT store. It was worth my time and travel for the excellent service I received. Thanks Andrew!! read more
