    I give one star because it will not allow a "no star" review. let's start with, dropping our…read moretelevision off & being told we would receive a call with a diagnosis and estimate. 2 days later, mr. goodman called and said the television was fixed and it was over $200. he then lied and said your husband told me to fix whatever the problem is, we'll pay. who in the world does that? we felt obligated to pay because how would we know if he reversed what he did that he would not mess up something else as well. 3 weeks later, we had the same problem so we took it back and it was "fixed" under the warranty with an attitude. 3 months later the same problem again. we were told it was no longer under their warraty but it was the same issue. after much arguing, they "fixed" it once more. & guess what....it broke again. since it was 4 weeks from the latest "fix", it was worked on again. unfortunately; 2 weeks later, the same problem occurred. this time, we didn't go back. we believe they use old parts & charge new part prices. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

They said they would have to pick the TV up because the repaired could not be done in my home and the total cost with pick up and replacing the part would be $300.00. I asked again and they said no more than $300.00. I thought I was getting a bargain because I had already called the Geek Squad and Samsung directly and it was more in the 400-500 range. Well if it sounds to good to be true IT IS!!! They called me two days later and said the repair would be $500 plus tax. Big difference from the initial estimate. Since I felt they had lied to get my business I asked them to bring my TV back. They scheduled me for 1pm on friday and by 4:30 (after my 2nd call) they still were not even on their way. The guy on the phone explained that he didn't have enough people to help and had the nerve to ask if anyone at the house could help unload the TV and bring upstairs. Oh, this after they charged me $100 for pick up and diagnosis (which I had already told them). I didnt get my TV that day after wasting my Friday afternoon and vacation time but instead they delivered it the next day. Bottom line is they were dishonest from the get go and irresponsible. Great way to run a business!

    For the past two weeks my receiver started giving me a message that it was overheated and needed…read moreto cool off. The messages became more and more frequent and it started taking the box longer and longer to cool down and even when it did it did not stay in working order for long. There was nothing obstructing the vents and I was getting pretty aggravated. I contact customer service finally and let them know what I'd been going through. She said it was probably a faulty fan inside. Understandable being I had had the box 6 plus years. I was already plotting my Netflix play list while I wait the 5 business days for my new box to arrive. I was completely shocked when I opened the front door at 10am the next day (today) and found a DirectTV box sitting on my porch. I even started to question myself- I did just call yesterday afternoon right? Had I been sleep for five days? I am very pleased and happy to have my new box in such record time. Thank you DirectTV!

    Subscribers BEWARE. I'm a victim of a bait and switch advertising. The advertisement that I…read moreresponded to was 89.99 per month for "Choice Package". When I received my first bill, it was higher than the advertised quote. Not only was it higher, but they are now trying to add a optional service maintenance charge of $9.99 per month. This charge was not discussed at the time I was considering Directv as my provided. Now I'm stuck for two years. My previous provided was Dish TV, who is not much better because they did the same thing,but Dish TV has better free monthly movies. Bill L
