This location is good for those who need to handle their business in person. I had to come here twice within 2 weeks because the equipment that I picked up on the first visit was incorrect. I spent hours on the phone with XFinity Customer Service trying to get the equipment activated and after the 6th phone call to customer service, they declared that it was the wrong equipment. Fast forward 2 weeks later, walked into this location, I was welcomed by the staff. I was told that it would take a few minutes before someone could help me swap out the equipment. I used the restroom, then sat down in their VERY LARGE TV THEATRE SCREEN lounge area to watch the playoffs game. Only one other customer was there. I arrived at approximately 6:30p. I got my new equipment at 7:15p and I stayed until 8p when they closed. I paid for parking both visits and it took me over 20mins to find parking both trips. Very inconvenient. Overall, nice staff, great location to relax in, but parking is definitely a big challenge in this busy location. Next to the Metro is convenient for those who ride it. read more

I work from home and I had so many outages I was forced to move to be able to keep my job and now Comcast is demanding payment from me while their service didn't even work. I have called multiple times to receive help. One time I was on chat with an individual named Kouser and he asked whether I was installing new services and when I said no, he disconnected the chat. Another employee, Roxana, employee ID 19928, said she would get a supervisor but just kept going on mute and not doing anything, she kept me on hold for roughly an hour just playing games and purposefully antagonizing me. I wouldn't recommend Comcast to my worst enemy, and I hope more people break away from this horrible service because of how they go out of their way to treat everyone they encounter as terribly as possible. read more

We are in the research stage to see if there is a better television package since DirecTV keeps raising prices. This location is in Chinatown and metro accessible. The store is loaded with all sorts of "toys" to check out. The monitors even have a living room vibe so you can picture yourself at home, lounging on the couch. The employee was very nice. She answered all of our questions and was open about fees, taxes, additional fees, etc. Comcast has an app where you can record/watch shows from your phone. I don't use my phone for videos or movies, unless I'm flying. I left the store feeling like I had just studied for the SATs and I still wasn't sure I understood all the features Xfinity offers. I'm not interested in a 2 year contract and I don't want to bundle my phone. But, kudos on having a remote you can talk to. read more

Beware, watch out, don't buy! I ordered Comcast TV and internet for my new location. Trouble is, it doesn't work well in this area. TV and Internet constantly dropped out. I paid for Gigabit service but downloads were never more than about 260 bits. I rented a storm-ready, but it turned out cell service that it was trying to hook up to was very poor in this neighborhood, so that didn't work at all. I closed my account and returned all the equipment to the local store. they tried to insist that I had "bought" the storm-ready and would have to pay for it - a ridiculous price. Now I get a final bill for I'm not sure for. Comcast will not let you talk to a live person. The automated "agent" is nonsense. Comcast does not even let you have an address you can write to, whether email or mail. Comcast is expert in the run-around, obviously because it's such a bad company. I will spend the rest of my life alerting neighbors, friends, relatives, list-servs, and strangers on the street about this rip-off artist company - Comcast. read more

Came in to return equipment that Comcast sent me but that I never asked for. They don't have a return shipping option to had to take time out my day to return the equipment. First guy I dealt with said it would be 30 minutes to be helped if I wanted a receipt for my equipment--it being Comcast I absolutely needed a receipt to make sure they didn't continue charging me. Not sure why they'd take my device without giving a receipt but wanted me to wait 30 for one. Anyway, came back later and the woman at the front desk happily helped me immediately and gave me a receipt no problem, she was super helpful, but the rest of the experience was pretty typical for dealing with Comcast. read more

I spoke with a representative numerous times and I was told it's my responsibility to return these items. So now I had to drive to a location and all for them to tell me I need to wait 1hr just for them to have me sit down and say I have to fill out an online return form and then take it to a location. 5 representatives in this store and not one can move faster than molasses and no one is on the same page. We have Comcast TV and Music Service. This means we have three cable boxes, two for TV and one for music. The music box died and so my wife got on the phone with Comcast to report it and and get it fixed. No exaggerations, she spent one and a half hours on various holds and discussions with a string of customer service and technical people who seemed clueless. In the end, it was decided to send us a new cable box to connect to our Stereo system. It arrived today and it was a TV cable box with no audio outputs. In other words a complete bust. One-and-a-half hours worth of explaining just to get the wrong replacement. Tomorrow we will be returning all of the music equipment old and new back to Comcast and cancelling our music service. During the COVD-19 outbreak, in a time when the whole country is being told to work from home, Comcast decided to do a scheduled servicing in my neighborhood. This was supposed to be resolved at 7pm tonight and is still not at nearly 10:30pm - speaking to a "supervisor" was no more helpful than their automated chat feature. I work for a major, National Healthcare provider and run a COVID command center from my home and am unable to support national efforts as a result of Comcast's poor planning and inability to escalate properly. This studio is swanky!! I came here to resolve a customer service issue but was distracted by the high ceiling, modern interior, cushy seats and La Colombe in the center. That's how they get you! At first I was confused about where to find a customer service rep, but was greeted pretty quickly. I had to replace my modem and was worried I would be there forever, but the rep was friendly and it took less than 15 minutes. I noticed there were folks there just chilling and drinking coffee on the nice chairs, so this could be a good place for a coffee break as well. My internet service situation is still TBD and is a whole other story, but I had a positive experience at the studio itself. read more

I will do anything to avoid doing business with Comcast or Xfinity. I've just wasted another 90 minutes with chat services to figure out a billing issue. This is in addition to numerous hours spent trying to figure out a new plan. with various "sales agents." Wanting to lower my overall bill, I let go of the fastest internet connection and a landline I wasn't using much. Sales agents made figuring out what they were offering me almost impossible. So much double-speak!! You assume you are on the same page, but they consistently insert services you haven't asked for and don't want. After several frustrating, nonproductive calls over several hours, I finally agreed to a new $85/month plan. The following month, I was charged $241. It took an hour on chat to have the chat person say someone would call me back in ten minutes. Another hour passed, and NO CALL! But my Friday evening was blown by that point. Today, after another 90 minutes on chat, I finally figured out they billed me in advance, and they were going to credit the following two months, BUT my bill wasn't $85. It was $85 plus a $15 modem monthly charge. I STILL need an answer as to why they charged me that $241. STILL NO EXPLANATION! I know I've bought that modem several times over the past six years. Okay... take a breath. I think I have a "new" plan in place, but it was unnecessarily complicated to get to this point. When he asked me at the end about adding mobile, services I wanted to throw something. I would switch providers in a second, but I'm at the mercy of Xfinity being the only provider. Just spent over an hour on the phone trying to cancel my mother-in-laws account. Total nightmare. They wanted to charge a $150 cancelation fee. As it turns out her service rolled over automatically into a new 2 year contract for $138/month for just internet. Bastards! After an hour I got the cancellation fee mostly wiped. I really do not recommend Comcast for internet services. I've used them in the past without a good experience and tried them again when I moved thinking they'd improve- I regret doing so. When I called to setup services, they made a typo in the service address causing far too much time spent on the phone trying to correct the error once it was discovered. My appointment for a technician to install internet at my new location was provided for a four hour window. At the end of the time window (of my literally waiting for them in an unfurnished apartment for four entire hours on my weekend) I was told that the technician reported he didn't have the router I ordered and cancelled the service. I was forced to rearrange my schedule to get another appointment to accommodate their local warehouse schedule. As for the service for the short time I did have it- the service was constantly interrupted or the modem didn't have a signal. Like most of the country right now my livelihood is dependent on working from home. Without a reliable internet, Comcast service was unusable and I was paying for nothing. I decided to cancel quickly and switch to Verizon. Comcast still charged me service fees for broken internet and the early termination fee of $230 even though I reported the issue with the appointment being cancelled and poor internet. read more

Maybe sharing my experience will save others needless hassle. 1) They botched the timing of the move, shutting off my access to internet three days prior to the move. After spending more than a half hour navigating a frustrating automated system and being placed on hold a few times, the eventual human customer service rep was able to fix the problem, but it took eight hours before internet access was restored. 2) A few days later, at my new residence, the service tech who came out to install service said he simply couldn't do it. Encouraging right? So now i have to wait five days without internet. If its this bad from the outset, why continue? Needless to say, I recommend avoiding this company and am researching other internet options. read more

Was told that to get the service, I needed to have a technician come and change some cables in the wall. Was told that I wouldn't be charged for it and I made sure to confirm that because they have an installation option I didn't need since I know how to set up my modem myself. Person came out, was very helpful, set it all up, and it was great. Low and behold, a month later and now they're trying to charge me $100 saying that I authorized it, even haggling with a, "Oh we can give you a $15 [and then $50] credit on your account for this". If you can arbitrarily give me a credit you know that you messed up. Company is doubling down and it's really not about the money amount, I won't do business with a company interested in scamming me. read more

They charged us for a set up fee (no one set anything us other than ourselves). Now two months later I'm still not receiving the price I signed a contract for. Before switching from Comcast Cable tv in 2003 to Direct TV the television shows had lower quality sound and the color(s) were much less vibrant than with satellite tv. read more

After struggling with this company for more than a year, we are going to bail out today. Our internet connection has always been pretty bad, and the 250 MB speed they promised (and that we're paying extra for!) is actually closer to 35 MB according to speedtest.net. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they are able to resolve this problem. Combine that with Comcast wanting to end net neutrality and that was the end for us. I'm not sure if there's a better option out there. I guess we'll find out! read more
