The leg compressions, they bring you to a nice relaxing room and offer you some water and some blankets and warm neck wrap to help you relax. The space boots you put on go up to a certain level (7, i think?) and you can tone up and down the level of compression yourself as you sit there during your session. My legs felt fantastic the next few days after this. For the cryo, I think I may need some more sessions there to see the real effects. I was in the cryo tube for about 3 minutes and yes it was freezing cold but not sure it had any major benefit for me. However, the man there was able to explain the actual benefits to me upon request. This place is great. It has friendly staff and a wide variety of treatment and recoveries. They also offer a number of plans and pre-paid treatments at very reasonable prices! I say go give it a shot if you've ever thought of trying!

I researched cryotherapy centers in Myrtle Beach and found this location to be most suited for my needs. Today's first treatment was wonderful. Kim was very helpful and walked me through the process. She even stays in the cryotherapy room the entire time to monitor your treatment and how you were doing in the chamber. Being a first timer, this was very comforting and welcomed. In addition to cryotherapy, they have an experienced massage therapist(s) trained in medical massage. Needless to say, I am booked for both next week. It was explained to me that De Larson and the therapist would come up with a plan and go over that with me on my next visit. This was my second appointment where Dr Larson went over the findings and suggested a plan. She was very detailed and had no issue with answering the many questions I had for her. Cryotherapy is the new rage in recovery and wellness! I found this practice while scrolling groupon…read moreand decided to give it a try. This practice is located toward the end of a strip mall. Plenty of parking and easy to find the signage for the entry door. The staff were super friendly and greeted me right upon my arrival. My experience was quick and painless! You change in a changing room and then go into the cryotherapy room. You can wear as much or as little as you want. They give you need high socks slippers and a robe. When you go inside of the chamber you trade your robe for oven mittens. You step into an upright metal tube and stand still. They start you at 2 and a 1/2 minutes if it is your 1st time they have you turn every 30 Seconds. Like said, quick and painless. Pro tip: to get out of the parking lot, make sure you find an exit that has a street light. Otherwise, it is impossible to get out of the plaza and take a left due to traffic.
