We needed to move our father to a new assisted living facility and had no point of reference. 24Hr HomeCare was recommended to us and we are so thankful to have found them. Our father was completely taken care of by kind and compassionate caregivers that genuinely cared about him and assisted him with every possible aspect of his recovery. Each caregiver over the course of many weeks established strong bonds and relationships with our father. Aside from one negative experience with a caregiver, the experience was excellent. On that note, I will say that upon calling our Manager, Eric regarding this issue, he took immediate action and replaced our fathers caregiver without question. Our family is eternally grateful, very appreciative of the care our father received from 24HR HomeCare and could not have asked for anything more.

Last time, they canceled on me less than 24 hours before and did not provide a replacement. This is the third time I do not have reliable care as scheduled and I have only used this company since mid-September this year. I tried to reach the respite care worker from Comforcare but no answer. I also called and texted the owner Pragna, but no answer or reply either. It is horrible for people who need respite care to sit and wait on someone who isn't going to bother to show up. It's also really hurtful to my daughter who is expecting someone she's really upset now and doesn't understand why "no one came to play" with her. Having to cancel plans is not just inconvenient. It's really devastating. We fight long and hard for our respite hours, and cannot even use them. More importantly, I do not get a much needed break. I also disappoint others when I have plans and then cannot show up because I do not have care for my child. I don't feel that this company takes reliability of their employees very seriously at all. Think twice before you hire someone from Comforcare. If I hear back from Comforcare and they resolve this issue, I will update my review.

From the very beginning,…read moretheir team showed incredible compassion, professionalism, and genuine care--not just for the patient, but for the entire family. The staff is attentive, responsive, and truly goes above and beyond. Communication was clear and timely, and every question or concern was handled with patience and respect. You can tell this is a team that truly loves what they do and takes pride in providing dignified, high-quality care during some of life's most difficult moments. What really stood out was how personal the care felt. Nothing ever felt rushed or transactional. The team took the time to listen, educate, and support us every step of the way, which brought so much peace and reassurance. I know that some people will be hesitant of smaller companies they haven't heard of but honestly that was what made them so much better, they were really patient focused unlike some bigger companies where patients can fall into being just a number. If you are looking for a hospice agency that treats patients with dignity, families with kindness, and delivers exceptional care, I highly recommend California Healthcare and Hospice. They truly make a difference!

Their warmth and professionalism helped ease an incredibly painful time, and we will always be grateful for the dignity, respect, and compassion they showed throughout our grandma's care.

But know that you are all appreciated equally and what you do really matters to your patients. You are appreciated and you are important, no matter the position you hold. We love you all! I would just be cautious with the people making discharge recommendations-- like where you go after you're done with rehab. These people may seem like they have your best interests in mind, but in reality they are self-serving. This is a common phenomenon in nursing homes and not unique to the Springs, unfortunately. I strongly recommend that you have your own team of people helping you with discharge arrangements.

The food was decent. I actually was hoping to stay for two weeks, but I was discharged to my daughter's house after 8 days, due to my insurance company and Medicare. I had done "too well" in PT! My departure seemed a little abrupt, there was some miscommunication with administration; I couldn't get appointments for outpatient physical therapy until beginning 5/13. Although a trying experience due to my pain, I do recommend The Springs. Visitor parking is by Valet only. I was told to please be out by 2 pm, but my daughter and I and Housekeeping, who wanted to change out the room for the next patient, before housekeeping left for the day (a Saturday) were all kept waiting, with no explanation, by the woman (Case Manager?) who was to give me my discharge papers and go over my meds with me. So I couldn't actually leave until 2:45, with my daughter waiting in her car, when she was asked to pick me up at 2! I'm still giving this a four star review, because, as I said, with the exception of one graveyard shift female nurse and some administrators, the doctors, nurses, CNAs and physical therapists were excellent! The facility itself is lovely.
