The motor cover was coated with blook soot (it wiped off easily). I wiped soot off the motor and it was also under the motor. The machine looked the same as when I brought it in. Well, I have to say I was very disappointed when I went in today. This is NOT a full-service…read morealteration shop. I don't mind that they're only open Monday through Thursday. I can make that fit in my schedule, but as soon as I walked in the door with three brand new suits that I ordered from New York, California and New Orleans....I was told she no longer alters the length of sleeves on jackets or sport coats. I was told she no longer alters the sides of sports coats, like tapering in the waist, etc.. and I was told that the only thing she could really help me with would be the hem length of the pants. Well, the largest disappointment was that she suggested that I go to a hooterite or someone else who has time for those kinds of things. So people, unless you just simply need pants hemmed, don't walk through the door. I don't know it just didn't make any sense that an alteration shop would send the guy outside the door and pass up on probably $200 of work????? I know it's not the only alteration shop in town but I wasted my time walking to the door. I'll find another place and I'll get the suits ready to go for my summer trips, but I absolutely don't recommend using this place. When I visit my mom in Houston Texas, there are hundreds of alteration shops. I guess next time I should have my suit shipped to my mom's place and then just get them altered there in short order.
