I'm so glad I went to see Alice because she went above and beyond for me as I was seeking a last-minute ticket to Saigon. After having seen ticket prices no lower than $1,300 online, Alice found me something for under $1,000! PLUS she stayed an HOUR after closing time. PLUS she called me in the morning BEFORE HER SHOP EVEN OPENED to follow-up on my etickets/Passport as I still had some outstanding issues the night before. If you do go to visit Alice, be prepared to wait a while. She is very busy, but once you have her full attention, she'll work hard for you. And be prepared to take the time to explore various airlines - it takes time to do that in the system she is using, but if you look at a wider range of airlines you can then find the good deals. When I asked why, Mr. Thanh told me that's how much it is for the paperwork and it's been $80 for "the longest time." I told him I called US tours in San Jose a week ago and they said it was $70. He kept saying it's been $80 for the LONGEST time and even pointed out that everything went up in price like a bowl of pho. I told Mr. Thanh that paperwork and a bowl of pho are two separate things, and when asked how long ago did the price go up since I just called San Jose, and he was unable to tell me. He just diverted and said "it's been more for the longest time and a bowl of pho is expensive now" while looking down and away from me... I don't respect being lied to and I don't respect being ripped off. If you're hungry and you want a bowl of pho just ask, don't make these rude and irrelevant remarks. Save yourself the headache, old school mannerism, and your money and get it done somewhere else. I do not support shady people or a shady business mentality where you can't even look at me as you lie and tell yourself I was born yesterday. My interaction with Mr. Thanh and his wife were all in Vietnamese, so this wasn't a language barrier or miscommunication.
