So though I did get service without a wait and you cannot argue against the convenience of the location, the prices are outrageously high - $170/Hour, for example, is their current posted rate for a table massage. Another downside is the space is tiny. It's not good to have conversations about your personal health while you are literally 6 feet or less from other customers, and my provider did so the whole time I was getting worked on, so 2-3 other people got to listen to it all. FYI, as others have mentioned, the table that you would use if you booked a table massage is just as close as the chairs and you would literally have a only a flimsy curtain between you naked on a table and a random person getting a chair massage. This is, IMO, a really inappropriate setup. Pay for the space (especially at the rates you charge) and build a room with a door to provide privacy and relieve from noise and conversations.

However, on the day of our appointment when we arrived, we were told after going back and forth in person that we didn't actually have anything scheduled. We then had to reschedule on the spot for about an hour and a half later based on their availability, so we left and came back at the new time. When we arrived again, we had the wait for about 20 minutes. The couple's massage setup was not what we expected--we were placed in separate spaces with a curtain between us, whereas in past experiences at other spas, couples massages have always been in the same room. The Groupon also listed four add-ons, but we only received two during the service. The front desk explained that we would receive those add-ons. During the massage, I noticed that she only did two of the add-ons. We didn't argue and just finished the appointment as scheduled. Unfortunately, the massage itself was disappointing for both of us. My massage therapist seemed to focus more on areas that weren't tense and applied pressure in a way that felt more on bone than muscle. I left with soreness rather than relief, and I also developed headaches afterward, which is not typical for me after a massage. My partner also shared that his massage did not feel properly targeted or effective. Another concern was that my massage therapist appeared to be unwell during the session, coughing and heavily breathing throughout. At one point, she had to step out briefly. I was chemically burned on my toe because the callus remover was left on for too long and burned my skin. No one tried to make it right or offered any type of resolution. It's now Sunday, and my nails are already lifting and peeling off. I noticed she applied oil to my nails before putting on the polish, which likely contributed to it not adhering properly. On top of that, the polish application itself was terrible. The coats are extremely thick, uneven, and honestly look like they were done by a 10-year-old. Between being chemically burned and now receiving a manicure that's falling apart within two days, I can confidently say I will not be returning.
