Didn't hear about this place til I saw it on Groupon, decided to buy the voucher after reading the rave reviews and it did not disappoint. My car was somewhat clean and in pretty good shape to begin with so I didn't really make it hard for them to clean but they did a great job sprucing it up with the shampoo etc I would recommend it though and will probably take my other car for some TLC cuz it needs it :D read more

This place is fantastic. Customer service was great and the estimate for the time to completion was perfect. Honestly I have not been a big car detail guy in my life but this place might change that. We just bought a used car and wanted to get it cleaned to feel new again and Xtreme Auto Details nailed it. There's a reason this place is rated 5 stars. This is the only place you should take your car to. They care for your car like it's their own. I come here not only for detailing, but also for routine washes since the price is the same as regular car wash places but XAD does a FAR better job. My one gripe, and its minor, the waiting area kind of stinks. XAD is connected to an auto body shop and the waiting area seating is limited. There is coffee and wi-fi however. read more

This was a complete Bait and Switch on the Groupon offer. After 4 months, they were finally able to get us in (January 2013 after Groupon ran in August). After beginning work on the vehicle, I get a call stating it is too dirty, and in order to really get it clean, we need to pay an additional $40 upcharge. If we don't pay, they won't clean the car and it will stink inside because they've already begun the interior shampoo. Plus - they will claim the Groupon has been completed and leave me with 0 value. I either have to agree to the upcharge or have a car that is in worse condition than when it was dropped off. Not only do I have to pay $40, but they "strongly recommend" another service for an additional $40 - at least for that one, I was able to refuse. I hope my review is worth the $40....last time I'll ever go here! Perhaps you should clarify the rules of how Groupons work before signing up with them. Then again - this is what happens all the time with these small independent merchants who think Groupon is the best thing to ever happen.....they get overwhelmed with the quantity and cannot deliver quality. The good: The hard-working crew at Xtreme auto made my 1999 VW Passat (with 213,000 miles) look amazing-- better than it has looked since it was nearly new. (Mike was not around; it was his staff doing the work today.) I'm delighted with the results. They were very thorough, inside and out (trunk, too). And in between-- all the door sills are spotless. Even when looking (admiringly) to see if they had overlooked any spot at all, I found almost nothing. (The rear window shelf might have deserved a little better vacuum attention, but that's the only thing I could find by trying.) The bad: Exactly like someone else who posted here just yesterday, my appointment time meant absolutely nothing. I had a confirmed 10 a.m. appointment, arrived early (at 9:30), and was told the car would be ready at about noon. ("Will you call me, should I call you, or should I just come back at noon?" "Just come back.") So as I had planned in advance, I walked to McD's (just under a half-mile), had coffee and did some work, and returned at about 12:20-- eager to see the transformation to my car. To my surprise, it was still parked in the same spot where I left it, obviously not touched. I inquired and was told, "It's next." So with no wheels and no place to go (and having just skipped lunch, thinking my car was ready), I sat in the waiting area... and waited. (The waiting area, incidentally, belongs to the auto shop where they apparently lease a desk and a stall.) At 2:50, they finally started on my car, and finished just before 5 p.m. I have no problem with the job taking that long; that's the whole point of going here rather than the neighborhood car wash. Clearly my car got their full attention-- once they finally got around to it. The big problem is, I could've arranged to drop the car for a whole day or more if only I'd known, but I relied on their "appointment" time. With McD's within reasonable walking distance, and portable work, I didn't mind the prospect of waiting two or three hours. But instead, my whole day was shot, and it was costly to be out of my office all day. Seems like this evidently recurring situation could be avoided with a little better communication. As for the negative reviews here, I experienced nothing resembling upselling or "bait and switch" while using the Groupon my son gave me. They did the job we paid for, and didn't pitch anything else. (If they were less busy, they might understandably have offered to buff a scratch or two, touch up some paint dings, restore my headlights, clean the engine-- all items my car could use. But it never came up.) So by all means, use the services of Xtreme Auto, IF you can get them to commit to a time frame and stick to it, or you can leave your car all day, OR you have all the time in the world. Know before you go, and I doubt you'll be disappointed. ADDENDUM: Owner Mike graciously called back to apologize for this situation, and also explained that there is a difference between a "while you wait' appointment and a drop-off appointment. Communication with my son, who made the appointment for me, could have left them believing I was a drop-off customer. Even so, the discussion on arrival clearly should have indicated otherwise, but Mike was away today, and apologized for the miscommunication by his staff. So again, know what your particular appointment arrangement stands for, and then expect a great job from Xtreme. read more

I would give Zero stars if it was an option. Completely unprofessional! Owner tried his best to ruin my very good day with his nastiness and rude comments, but I refused to let him. I call Groupon to relay unprofessional and unpleasant events to them and they apologized profusely and refunded full price not in Groupon Bucks, but full amount back to my Card. How this company gets positive ratings, I will never know. Unless they pay people (or ask friends) to write their reviews. I brought my car for a detail (used a Groupon), and received the absolute worse service! For one, the detail was simply an exterior car wash ( and they even missed a few obvious spots). They failed to "detail" any part of the interior. Thank goodness I was able to receive a refund from Groupon. I actually reported the business to the Better Business Bureau due to some shady practices I observed while I watched a couple of other vehicles being detailed. read more

I purchased a brand new pickup truck that isn't even a month old and as I was waxing it I noticed there was a dent on the driver's side bed. It bothered me so much that I reached out to a friend who recommended Xtreme Auto Details. Mike Villaroel spoke with me and took a look at my truck and assessed the damage. He ensured me that he would be able to reverse it and repair it with no issue. On short notice, he was able to accommodate me and repaired my truck in just a few hours. I took my M45 to Mike in response to a Groupon ad. I was truly amazed at how good my car looked when I saw it after the detail was done. Mike is a perfectionist. So he really took his time to get rid of every last blemish he found. My car not only needed a bath but it needed someone to really clean it out and give it a good wash inside and out so I was searching on Groupon for somebody/anybody to do just that. I noticed Xtreme Auto Details and the amount of people buying the Groupon so I thought I would go ahead and try it. I was a bit nervous because of the negative reviews that I saw but went ahead and gave them an opportunity to impress me. They did just that - I was very impressed. I had a great experience with Xtreme Auto Details. Once I purchased the groupon I quickly went online to provide my information. I received a call shortly after to schedule my appointment which was the following week. I was excited because I had heard of the other problems with them taking a while to schedule appointments. I arrived on the following Friday 10 minutes early. I received a phone call that they would be late due to an issue. I continued standing there with another gentleman who also had an appointment at 8am. When they arrived at around 8:15 the gentleman I was standing with was honest in stating that I had arrived first (which I had) so they took my keys and told me to sit tight while they worked on my car. I don't know if they work on one car at a time so I would recommend getting the first available appointment which is at 8am if you plan on waiting for your car. I had plenty of work to catch up on so they had a lounge with a few chairs and I continued to do my work. I saw my car through the door and noticed they had a team of individuals working on my car. The job took 2.5 hours to complete. I was called to inspect my car and I was very pleased with the job that was done and was shocked at how new it looked. They were great in cleaning the pet hair from my car and getting down to really make my car look as it did when I drove it off the lot back in 2009. I was very happy with the service that was provided and when I got home my husband was shocked and couldn't wait to get into my new clean car. My dear friend threw up while sitting in the front seat of our car and got us a Groupon for XAD to get it detailed. When I made the appointment on their site, I included a note about what happened and that we tried to clean it with baking soda and vinegar to remove the stains and odor. Mike called me later that day (Tuesday) concerned with the possibility of mildew growing since it happened on Sunday. He said they were booked until mid-October but that he could reschedule some appointments to get us in on Friday. We left our car Thursday night and dropped the key off in the secure night box. Priscilla called Friday evening letting me know the car was drying after they shampooed the upholstery and carpet. She said they would run another test to make sure it didn't need additional shampooing and call me back. About half an hour later, Mike called to tell me the car was good to go and that I could leave it again overnight where it would be housed in their garage if I needed to. We picked it up this morning (Saturday) and were AMAZED! There was no hint of throw up and not one speck of baking soda which can really get trapped. The exterior looks gorgeous and feels slick from a new wax job. The interior looks and smells better than new! Take away: Mike and Priscilla really care about their work and do a thorough job. Fantastic job! Brought my disgusting 2011 Sienna in with built up grime from multiple road trips to FL and NH throughout the years and three children who are complete slobs (they get this from their father!) I had completely grown accustomed to the smell of decomposing French fries and the putrid odor of whatever the spilt yogurt was growing under the backseat. I was embarrassed to bring it in but they were courteous and politely lied, telling it was not THAT bad. When I picked it up, I was shocked! It looked brand new and it smelled GOOD!! Priscilla is very knowledgeable about detailing and will give you straight up honest advice on what type of detailing the car needs. I've been there twice now with amazing results. I love this place. My vw was in for paint restoration, touchup, sealant, and application of Xpel protective film. My dull black paint was brilliant as the sun when I picked up the car. The film was so invisible I couldn't see it unless I really tried. Mike, his partner and team were professional, courteous, and very customer service oriented. I took my Tesla Model S to Mike in response to a Amazon local ad. I was amazed at the job they did in about 2 hours. The car looked brand new coming out. My wife felt bad getting in the car it looks so clean ! I had made an appointment at 10AM and they started a few minutes late but the wait was well worth it. I would say this is a great place to get your car detailed. 2 other customers got their cars detailed prior to me and the result was also top notch. Awesome!!!!!!! I took my Chrysler Aspen truck here to have it detailed for the first time since we bought it 8 yrs ago. I was on the verge of trading it in but after they detailed it it looks like a brand new truck!!!! These guys are beasts at what they do and if you use a Groupon which I did it cost pennies considering the shape my truck was in and the outcome! I was so impressed that I recently took my Toyota Prius in which was kind of in the same shape as my truck. It was my husbands go to work car so it had some wear and tear however, our oldest daughter needed a car so I brought it in and once again they got it back to looking new. I cannot say enough great things about Mike and Pricilla and their shop. I first brought my wife's SUV to them for a complete detail. We have 3 young boys who love to make a mess and they made the 6 year old SUV look brand new. I then took delivery of a brand new Tesla Model 3and brought it to them for a PPF, Ceramic Coating, and Crystaline Window Tininting. The car looks better than it did the day I received it. They did a light paint correction as well and it got all the little swirls and marks out of the car before putting the PPF on. I would highly recommend you give them a call for any of your needs. I just got my Acura TSX 2009 detailed for the first time this past weekend. I called on Friday afternoon, and spoke with the manager Mike. He made me a Sunday morning appointment that weekend. When I came in early Sunday morning, he told me it would take several hours, so he actually drove me 15 min to my house, while they were working on my car!
