We arrived 10 min early so I could fill out forms but the gym opened up 5 min before class. So…read moredon't expect to get in right away for a 5pm class. I did the trial session with a friend on a Friday at 5pm and it was full class but not excessive. My guess is about 40 people in a large room. First you do about 5 min of active stretching and some cardio like running in place or butt kicks, arm swings, etc. Then they go right into explaining the stations. Then they set up several stations/exercises with about 6 people at each station. You work out at your own level, push yourself as hard as you want to. They do come around and check for help. Great session overall within 45 min. I didn't see any wipes to wipe equipment down and that is my pet peeve when people don't wipe down equipment. I get a little weird since you do sweat in the classes. The equipment is in great shape and nothing looked tattered. Just bring your own wipes. The water machine is outside of the main workout room so you have make sure you have plenty of water with you. Otherwise you don't have time in between the transitions to get more. People put their drinks, bags, etc all around the edges of the room so sometimes you have to navigate around that if they aren't paying attention to where they are placing things. They have several areas where you can workout with weights like in a small gym setting in a different room and a cryotherapy chamber. The bathrooms are clean and overall it was a clean space. Just not the weights and main area.

If you're looking for a training program that will completely transform your habits and health,…read morethen look no further. I began doing the Boot Camps with ABC in January of this year, and did them right up until the day before I moved across the country to NY in August. I started the program at 125 lbs and at my lowest weight reached 107. When weight loss was no longer my goal, I found myself improving my fitness and endurance. Because of the program, I was able to run a mile faster than I ever had in my entire life, even when I ran track in high school. I could complete more push-ups in a single minute than I thought possible, and I walked away with a 6-pack, something I had never fathomed. Even after leaving California, I have still been able to keep 12 lbs. off because of the habits I developed through boot camp. I not only learned about fitness but nutrition as well, which has enabled me to maintain what I accomplished. Besides improving your overall physical health, this program benefited my mental health as well. The trainers push you beyond what you think you're capable of, which enhances your confidence along with your fitness. You also get to workout alongside men and women who are there for the same reasons you are, making it easy to form friendships with those who are beside you. The program seems intense, and that's because it is, but it is worth more than the money you pay; the trainers are invaluable resources, and they are supportive and motivating. My only wish is that there was an ABC Fit. Co. in Western NY so that I could continue with the program.

There are way better trainers and gyms to join in the area. She demands many sit-ups and push-ups…read moreyet doesn't care about proper form. In my book 5 perfect push-ups is better than 20 sloppy ones. The exercises are repetitive, which only works certain muscles groups too. Too expensive for a horrible program.

It is very alarming to think a business owner can go around treating people like shit. Especially…read moreteenagers who are trying to feel better by working out. The owner (RICK) of Evolution Strength and Conditioning treated my son and his friend very aggressively, saying he makes 4 million dollar a year to get the "f" out of his gym. I've been a member since that gym opened 8 years ago and to witness how the owner treats his members is very disappointing. When in fact we paid a drop-in fee for my son to workout. Disgusting behavior. Just be careful parents. If you have sons/daughters going to that gym, make sure the owner doesn't belittle them or disrespect them. RICK, YOU AIN'T BETTER THAN NONE OF US. CALM DOWN WITH YOUR AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR.

I've been going to this gym for the past year. It's a solid gym, it's clean, and the people are…read morerespectful. There's just one huge issue: the heat. One of the main rooms has not a single fan or AC vent, and the space is essentially a warehouse with high vaulted ceilings. It is 105 degrees outside as I'm typing this, and the room without fans or AC is a sauna. Imagine working out in a 90+ degree room without a fan blowing any air around - it's miserable. I called about this issue last year, and my concern was always blown off and I was repeatedly told "we're working on it". Well, summer has arrived again and there is still not a single fan in that room. And don't even get me started on their response when you bring this up with them. The last time I mentioned this and expressed my concern, the person who answered the phone suggested I cancel my membership and find another gym. Seriously? Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm not asking you to install an additional AC unit and vents (which they should do anyways), I'm asking you to spend 30 minutes running to the nearest Lowe's/Home Depot to buy two large fans, plug them in, and turn them on. That's it. It is quite literally the bare minimum this business could do to show that they care about the safety and comfort of their customers. For $40/month, I expect much more from this business.
