I provided it, but never heard anything else after that. Unfortunately, it made the interaction feel more focused on public appearance than actually resolving concerns. After reading through other reviews, I also noticed a pattern of responses where customer experiences were argued against or questioned, which didn't leave the best impression. I chose this salon based on recommendations from several peers and was really excited to try a custom airbrush tan here. The two girls at the front desk were both very friendly and welcoming, and Meadow, who did my spray tan, was kind and professional throughout the appointment. I received the Venetian Express and explained that I was looking for a natural glow rather than a very dark tan. Meadow instructed me to rinse after 3 hours, and then take a full shower with soap at 8 hours, which I followed exactly. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the final result. The color developed very orange on my skin and the tan turned out uneven and splotchy in multiple areas. It was also not blended well around my ankles and wrists, which made it look noticeably unnatural. Overall, the quality looked more like what I would expect from an automated spray tan booth rather than a custom airbrush tan. I truly wanted to love my experience because the staff was pleasant and the salon came highly recommended, but for the price and the expectation of a custom spray tan, I was disappointed with the final outcome.

Going over it once instead of twice probably would have sufficed. I remember her putting lotion on me at the beginning but my hands, feet, and knees ended up looking orange/noticeable after a few days. My tan did last a good portion of my trip even after snorkeling in salt water.

I was greeted by Hailey, who was able to pull up my membership and asked what services I wanted to use. I explained that I have the top-tier package and wanted to take advantage of multiple services, including red light therapy for my face, a bronzing bed, and a spray tan. I let her decide the order. I started with the red light therapy (about 20 minutes). It was fine, but honestly a bit underwhelming--I didn't notice any immediate difference, though I understand that may take time. After that, I moved on to the bronzing bed. At the front counter, there were multiple "tester" lotions displayed. When asked if I had lotion, I said no and asked if I could try one of the testers. Instead of being able to sample it, I was told I had to purchase a packet. That felt a little misleading since the bottles were labeled as testers. I ended up buying a discounted packet for around $4 just to try something, but the whole interaction felt more like a push to upsell than a helpful recommendation. Lastly, I went to do my spray tan. I asked for the same dark shade I had used previously at another location under the same top-tier membership. I was then told there would be an additional charge for that shade. That caught me off guard, because I wasn't charged for it before and was under the impression that it was included in my package. Rather than argue, I just went with the medium, but it left me confused about consistency between locations. Overall, I didn't feel like the service matched the above and beyond service the other location demonstrated or provide the level of membership I'm paying for. Between the confusion about what's included and the pressure to purchase add-ons, the experience felt more transactional than welcoming. I'm not sure if it was just that employee's deliverance or a difference between locations, but I do hope for more consistency and a more customer-friendly approach moving forward.

Her pricing is very fair and competitive. Robin did my hair for my wedding in 2018 and she would SO good. My hair was perfect, and help up all day. Robin (the owner) is very talented. Patrice does my shellac manicure at Vita Bella. My manicure holds up for 2 weeks. I'm so happy to have discovered this skill. Patrice also cuts my husband's hair and my son. She's great with men, color, etc. I LOVE Vita Bella, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else for all my beauty requirements. Everyone here has become a friend. They also have a nice retail selection of hair products at competitive prices.

I changed things up on her with my hair on the day of, and she worked with me until I got the exact look I was wanting. Perfection! Everyone complemented me on my hair and makeup all night! I could not have been happier (and I'm super picky)! She is really talented with playing up your natural beauty with some pizzazz and not plastering on a mask of makeup like some other make up artists I've experienced. It serves the purpose…read more I used to frequent the Richmond Heights location, which was so much more convenient for a City resident (Des Peres is out of the question), but had to use up my lingering tans at Des Peres. During the summer there is regularly a wait, sometimes so much that I looked in the window and turned around and left. The prices were pretty good, but VersaSpa is getting cheaper now so it doesn't seem all that great anymore. Some of the equipment is dated, covered in tanning solutions and just mucky. I've used Versa in Las Vegas when I work there and at Beach House Bronze. At this point, I definitely prefer the VersaPro, which is basically the same price at Beach House Bronze, and just a new salon. I did leave my wedding ring there once and they grabbed it and held it for me, so kuddos for that. Towels are readily available, along with hair nets, but no nose plugs or lip balm (supplied by the salon in Vegas). They also often have diet pill advertisements/samples and things like that laying around which looks cheap and as if they're trying to make a quick buck. It's a bit trashy.
