The Ao Dais here are the most modern and the most trendy ones coming straight from Vietnam!…read more Value : The fabric is so silky & breathable, I wore mine to so many different events and will definitely go back for more in the upcoming years. I have purchased from this store before and have reworn their ao dais on numerous occassions! Definitely great value for a great price! This specific Ao Dai was $60 but for the fabric, it's well worth the cost. No scratchy fabric, no weird creases, only some light steaming needed to straighten out the fabric. Flexibility : The store style is super accomodating and offers in house measurements to get the perfect Ao Dai for your size. Social media presence is strong : I also love that you can find things that you like on their Facebook page, send in your measurements and request to have it saved on the side for pick up. Overall : Great quality supplies, super fast, convenient & friendly service.

I visited Precious Closet on a cousin's recommendation while searching for Vietnamese traditional…read moredress (áo dài). Since it was the tail end of Lunar New Year, the selection wasn't as large as usual, but we still found beautiful áo dài that each of us loved. The store had dresses in every color and style--traditional, two-piece silky sets, and options for men and children of all ages. Sizes ranged from S, M, L to XL and 2XL, and everything we saw was great quality. The neckline and stitching were well made, and I loved the flared sleeves--so much more comfortable than the tight ones I'm used to. One thing I really appreciated is that everything is clearly priced, so there's no need to bargain like in many other Asian shops. It makes the whole shopping experience so much easier and more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying things on because every dress fits differently. There are only three fitting rooms, but each one has heels you can borrow to see your full look with the áo dài--such a thoughtful touch. If you can't find your size, definitely ask one of the helpers; they were all incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. The shop itself is small but truly has everything you need. The owner mentioned that the store is open year-round but only sells traditional dresses during the two months leading up to Lunar New Year. After the holiday, it transitions back into everyday clothing. At checkout, they even give you a small gift, and all your items are packaged neatly in a cute reusable bag--another detail that made the experience feel special. I can't wait to come back in December to get first pick of styles and sizes. Have fun shopping--and Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!

A Flashback to the 70's…read more.. If you're looking for some very authentic-looking 70's replicas, this is the place to go! Nothing over $30, as far as I've seen. And not everything is polyester junk like the similarly Asian-owned fashion stores of the 90's. There's some real decent threads here, and you'll be shocked at how many outfits you can find that look like they just came out of "Go Ask Alice" or other similar 70's cult films! Customer service (the husband-and-wife owners who don't speak English too well) are helpful and pleasant. My new favorite boutique, by far. So go bug off, Flashbacks of Orange. ;-)

I'm all about customer service... and I really hate leaving bad reviews. But this time, I needed to…read moresay something about this store. I just happened to walk in while on my way to Rite-Aid which is right next door. I came in with my 4 year old daughter to take a look around, and see if I happen to find anything. There were two employees, the girl greeted us right away. But, shortly after I began walking and taking a look around, I noticed her just following us. Then, I ask to try on a few clothing items, 2 rompers to be exact. She takes us to the fitting room and shortly after, from a small crack on the fitting room "cloth", I can see the employee standing out there looking inside the fitting, trying to not make it obvious. It made me so uncomfortable! I quickly got dressed and walked out. I contemplated whether I should say something, because I'm not about confrontation, especially in front of my daughter. But, I felt so wrong and decided to bring it to her. Her excuse was she was helping another girl in the fitting room... not true! The other girl had just walked into the fitting room. I also said something to the other employee, who was a man in the front. I honestly felt violated with my privacy! Maybe they're used to having customers come in, stealing items, but that is absolutely no way to treat potential customers! I will NEVER consider coming back here... not that I have a reason to come back either. Like I said, I just happened to walk in to take a look and was definitely not impressed with their clothing selections. If you're anything like me, and just wanted something reasonably priced, this is not the store for you.... unless you like having someone breathing down your neck while looking around. There's plenty other little fashion stores in the area. Don't waist your time here!
