For primary care practice there is a fixed amount of co-payment under my plan. But they want to charge $50 more because I have no depleted my deductible. That has nothing to do with a primary care office visit (that apply to every insurance plan with a fixed co-payment). The clinic is trying to rip people off. She lies and hears you quietly and make up her plan to earn more money. The benefits that she promised when interview was never been fulfill and she always have "reasons" for that. Last time, i need to do a ppd and i dont health insurance so i went to her office hoping she can arrange for a discount. First, she promised me she will not charge me for the visit and to see report, i only have to pay for the lab. Im not the type of person who takes advantage from other so thinking to treat her for a tea time to thank her. However, when i went back to see report she said didn't expect me to come back. And since i need to see report she need she collect $100 from me added up from the last visit, then i agreed. I quickpay my excoworker to pay for me that night. But the next day, i found out she only charge $40 for her selfpay patients to see her include followup to see report. I was so mad at that time. Two days later, i received a call from her office "remind me to pay." Ha! So phony, i told her that i dont have cash that day and she told me nicely, "no! no! Its ok, you can bring it back next time". I still paid her b/c i dont want to owe her anything. But no more business! To pay for a doctor visit is a reasonable thing when i paid more while other paid less is not fair. To her, doctor is just a job to earn more money and thats it. Be aware! Be aware! Be aware!

I first heard about Dr. wang was from a family friend. When I had strep Troat, at first, I went to see the other two physicians (not going to name them) at another clinic. However, the medications (Guaifenesin and Zyrtec) that they prescribe me were not working quite well; in the end, I end up coughing throughout the nights, and there was a bloodstain on my mucus. It was such a painful experience that I won't ever forget about it or want to experience it again. When I first see Dr.Wang, she immediately prescribes Azithromycin and Robitussin. After I start taking Azithromycin and Robitussin, the cough was not as severe. But the cough continues, so I went to see her again. She then prescribes penicillin potassium 500 mg and instructs me to continue taking Robitussin but start intaking this newly prescribed antibiotic. To my surprise, it was effective, and I finally was able to sleep through the night. Not to mention, every time I get my flu shot, the staff would always contact me the next day to see how I am feeling, to know if I'm experiencing any discomfort or major side effects from the shot. I'm so glad that Dr.Wang is my current PCP, and are grateful for their care. I would highly recommend Dr.Wang and this clinic.

Left work early and got to my appointment 15mins early because I was a new patient and figured they would need some info/run my insurance etc. At 6.30pm I ask the receptionist if it will be much longer she says "yes you have one person in front of you" at which point I pointed out I made an appt and would have appreciated a call if the Dr was running behind so this way I would not have had to leave work early. Then 10mins later she tell me the Dr wants me to do a breathing test, to which I ask well the Dr has not seen me yet so how would she know?? Anyway, I go into the test room and recognize the woman who is performing this test as the one that had left 20mins ago and just returned from McDonald's!!! So while she was getting her coffee break I was waiting in the office like an idiot!! So now the visit is complete and the Dr electronically sends my scripts to my pharmacy, they only receive 3 out of the 4.They called all day and no one answered the phone or returned it. So its the weekend and I dont have my rescue inhaler!! For the amount of money spent on insurance this office felt like a Medicaid clinic!! And the last thing that irked me was not only was my co-insurance/copay $200 but I was charged a $5 surcharge because I wanted to use my credit card..who the hell walks around with that kind or cash or checks these days??

Standing impatiently and without taking any notes doctor questioned me on my medical history, checked my blood pressure and blood oxygen (both I can do with my Apple watch), listened to my lungs, and poked my abdomen above my belt. She drew some blood and sent it to the lab. That was it! She didn't even suggest a urine exam - I insisted on it myself! I had decided to give it a try based on this doctor's reviews on ZocDoc and Google and because her office is close to my new address, but that was my first and last visit to this doctor. The office is in a brownstone it looks like an the waiting area was nice. The Receptionist had me fill out some forms then I was on my way with Dr. Grishina. She was very nice and asked me the general medical questions & history. Then she gave me an overall checkup. She drew blood, which I hate doing but she was gentle and I didn't feel a thing. After that she told me when I get my results back she will give me a call. Which she did not too long ago. It's hard to find a doctor these days you can feel comfortable with and who aren't pushy or rude. I really like her and I feel good knowing I have a place to go to if I have an issue.

Though she is frequently harried or frayed herself due to how busy she is. However, her receptionist Karen, as depicted in many of the other reviews, is uh... colorful... and something to behold. She can appear approachable and compassionate one moment and in another moment she will rip you a new one. It depends on whether you catch her in a mood or not, and if the office is especially busy. On the plus side, she does seem to get things done if something needs to be communicated to Dr Fung. However she does often makes you (along with everyone else in the waiting room) fully aware of what an imposition it is for her to do so, and quite loudly. As someone with a newly diagnosed chronic disease of a serious nature, alongside the stresses that come with it, I definitely hit an impasse with her when she tore me a new one for some administrative confusion. I can't deal anymore with her mood swings--whether my next call will be answered by Jekyll or Hyde. I no longer have room for this kind of verbal and emotional assault in my life, especially from my primary health care provider office. I should not feel bullied, nor should I be made to feel trepidation for making a call to her office for a necessary medical request. So sadly, despite Dr Fung being quite easy going and a good doctor, I will be looking for a new primary care physician. I do wish Karen the best. Perhaps she's bipolar or on the spectrum or just stressed beyond awareness. She's a mom, so I hope that it's just in the office and that her home life is more balanced and peaceful for the sake of her family.
