I came in here on a total whim just to see what kind of stim free pump they had. I was immediately greeted by Ethan who was very enthused and eager to show me exactly where these were. Ethan went over each product and gave me his personal recommendation. I wasn't planning to buy but he sold me!! After saying I was all set he wanted to show me around & showed me their proteins. He even asked me if I wanted a sample of the s'mores flavor. I said sure I'd love to try it! I was literally shocked when Ethan then made me an entire protein shake and gave me a free shaker! I figured it would be a tiny sample in a 2 oz cup like they do at vitamin shoppe. The protein was absolutely delicious! Seemed to have amazing ingredients so I will definitely be back!! When I exited, I was confronted by a store associate named Zach, who questioned why I had used the restroom without asking his permission. At first, I thought he was joking because of his tone, but I quickly realized he was serious when he began cursing at me in front of my son. This was completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. A loud verbal disagreement followed, and I requested to speak with management. The only resolution offered was that Zach was told he should not curse at customers. That response made it clear to me that customer well-being is not a priority here. Because of this experience, I am ending my membership and will no longer do business with The Vitamin Shoppe. Respect and professionalism should never be optional in customer service.
