But at least contact me to say you are not interested in building me a home. I waited 2 weeks . In that time I missed out on other opportunity's while I patiently waited for the phone call . Very Disappointing Experience with Visar Ferati - Proceed with Caution…read more BEWARE, Mr. Visar Ferati is a Wolf in Sheep clothing. He doesn't honor his contract and once he collects his money it will be very difficult to get him back to make corrections. I hired Visar Ferati in September 2024 to renovate my kitchen and bathroom. He came highly recommended by Kitchen Cabinets, the company that designed my cabinets, and who vouched for the quality of his work. Initially, Mr. Ferati seemed professional and knowledgeable, but that impression quickly faded. The bathroom, which should have taken 2-3 weeks to complete, wasn't even usable for over a month. In fact, he did not fully complete it until February 2025, when he installed the handrails in the shower, a necessity for a senior citizen. The kitchen faced similar delays and incomplete work. He only returned to finish installing the built-in microwave on a dedicated circuit, secure the exhaust fan, and add the trimming around my cabinets after I told him I'd hire someone else and subtract it from his balance. After he seemingly finished the kitchen, issues continued to surface. In May, I discovered a leak under the kitchen sink that had already caused water damage inside my brand new cabinets. I informed Mr. Ferati on May 16th. He didn't come until June 6th, said the drain was incorrectly installed, "fixed" it, and left. But the problem returned just days later. I contacted him multiple times: texted on June 11, called on June 13, and sent several more texts in late June and July. To my surprise, I was IGNORED. Another contractor later diagnosed the issue: the p-trap was glued, not properly fitted with screw-on connectors. A basic plumbing error. He quoted $150 plus parts to correct it. I shared with information with Mr. Ferati, still no response. Even Kitchen Cabinets contacted Mr. Ferati on my behalf. He promised to call me, but he never did. Mr. Ferati does not stand by his work. Once he's paid, it's nearly impossible to get him back to fix mistakes. I regret hiring him and cannot recommend him.
