Must visit! This has…read morebeen on my list to visit for over a year, so I was super excited to finally visit! Get there at opening - the animals were just (or are currently) being fed and are out and active. We got there maybe 20 minutes before opening and were waiting at the gate behind a car that was there already. So come time they opened and let us through, we were able to thoroughly take our time without worrying someone behind us wanting to go faster. There is signage telling you when you do need to have your windows up so you can't miss that. Otherwise, you can let but never feed. There is a drive through section and then end it with a walking section. The gates opened at 8am but most of the shops and such don't open until 10am. So the walking part was quicker for us than I've heard it can be for others - but it also helped us save money. Haha there was a big gift shop attached towards the back (where they also have a restaurant), and we spent plenty of time and money there. Overall, it was maybe about a 2 hour trip.

I've been wanting to visit here for years and I'm happy I finally checked it off the list. If you…read morelove animals it's a great place to come and observe them. First thing, you'll drive through an area that reminded me of Jurassic Park (lol) - fenced off areas that contain different breeds. You can keep your car windows down to take photos of the docile animals like burros, bighorn sheep, deer, etc. But the windows go up when you're around the wolves and the bears. No exceptions! You don't want to be in THAT Instagram video, right? Next, we parked and went through the zoo-like area. We saw animals like badgers, porcupines and bobcats. I was disappointed that we didn't get to see animals in certain exhibits like the otters, jaguars and elk: no reasons given. Maybe they were cleaning their enclosures? I'm not really sure but I missed seeing them. The standout in this section were the three sibling grizzly bears. They frolicked in the water, wrestling and playing. One looked like it was doing yoga- stretching and posing. They were captivating. After this we went back through the drive-thru section again. You can do this as many times as you'd like. We found that the animals were the most active at 8:00 a.m. when the park opened. (I think they'd placed some food out then.) On our second pass through many of the animals were sleeping (especially the bears) or had just settled down. I think Bearizona is definitely worth checking out at least once. I'd recommend staying close by in Williams for easy access, and come early when the animals are active.

I noticed that they would slow the walkway down, so the really little kids could get off without injury. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Brandon made tubing so much fun even though t was over 100° the day we went. We only did the mountain coaster one time due to it being $20 per person. I usually get motion sickness on roller coasters, but I didn't have any problem on this coaster. My son who is scared of roller coasters even loved it. If someone from Canyon is reading this... please lower the Coaster price or at least give people who buy a photo package a free ride, play some music by the tubes, consider putting a misting system at the bottom of the slide and put in a bottled water vending station for the tubers by the employee station.

The person at the end asked how my experience was and I told them how my cart kept stopping itself due to being behind someone holding the breaks. After telling them, they didn't respond and walked off. Obviously this may not be a normal experience, but it's unfortunate that my one ride got slowed down by not having the carts spaced out more.

The gate was open so we went in, no one was manning the door and it was wide open, also no signs posted it was super dark but open till 9pm so still open at this time. I tried to ask what looked like an entertain there on a horse about how it all kind of works and she was busy so she asked me to give her a moment, and that's totally fine so I stepped aside. Then some other chick from the far off corner asked us to get around the fence to which we obliged again. Then the entertainer on the horse asked us what questions we had and answered what she could but then looked at my service dog and said he can't be here thought. To which I reply he's a service animal and she questioned whether or not my pet was one stating they are more behaved. He was wagging his tail bc he's only 11months! He was behaving just happy! Then the other women came over with attitude telling us how dangerous it was to walk in the gate! To which I replied well we are just looking for information and there is no sign or anyone at your door to, plus it is wide open! Then she looked at my service dog and said he can't be here so again I told her he's a service pet and she again stated he can not come in so we just left the entertainer eventually was very helpful and nice but I'm sorry you can not refuse a service animal but it's all good we'll never go back here. anyone else with service pets may want to stay away from here.
