Will use again…read more As a landlord for 20+ years, I am always looking for dependable service professionals to help protect my real estate investment in the event something needs repair or maintenance. After one of the recent rain storms, I found a watermark on the ceiling of one of the 1st floor bedrooms. I reached out to HM Roofing through Yelp and we were able to get an appointment quickly scheduled on Thursday and within 48 hours. I want to point out that Jennifer in the office did a fabulous job communicating with me regarding the appointment window and arrival times of their service team. On the morning of the appointment, I received a courtesy call (which I missed unfortunately) and then a follow-up text that the service professional would be arriving at around 10:00 a.m. Fifteen minutes later and at 10:00 a.m. sharp, Hazael, the owner rang my doorbell. After a quick introduction, I showed Hazael the watermark inside the bedroom and then he went up to the roof to check the roofing tiles and to see if the source of the leak was due to the solar panels that were installed in 2022. In less than 5 minutes, Hazael was able to find the gap underneath the tile and confirmed it was non-related to the solar panels. He quoted me a fair price and said that he had an opening tomorrow if I was interested. Since I didn't want to wait until next week, especially with more rain in the forecast, I was able book the next day appointment. His office emailed me the work estimate for signature and I signed/sent it back. On Friday, Hazael and his team (2 other gentlemen) came at the scheduled time of 8:00 a.m. with their tools and roofing materials. They were careful to remove the existing tiles to prevent any breakage and diligently went to work. I was able to join them on the roof while they installed a double layer of the rubber membrane in the area much larger than where the gap was. They nailed it down, sealed the edges with a waterproof sealant and then put the roof tiles back in place, adding some additional sealant where the tiles overlapped to ensure a snug and sturdy fit. When done, the team put all the extra roofing scrap material in a garbage bag and then used a leaf blower to blow away any dust. No mess and a clean roof. Hazael also fixed some roofing tiles at no extra charge when he was doing the final inspection. With an unknown leak that could have been a major headache and an expensive repair, Hazael and HM Roofing were able to diagnose and fix the roof leak much faster than I was expecting. Should I need any future roofing services, I will reach back out to Hazael and his team to get the job done right.

I hired This company to Install my bathroom counter and bathtub surround. They brought out the tub…read moresurround cracked. They tried to install it without telling us it was cracked even though They knew they broke it during fabrication. In fact, they were trying to find ways to manipulate the surround so the crack could be hidden. It couldn't and I still Found the crack... they kept tell me it was just a superficial surface crack along a vein. It's much deeper than that! When I got upset, the owner tried to put it on me that I chose a stone that was too soft, even though he was right by my side at the Stone yard choosing the slab. If it were too soft, he should have alerted me to it and I wouldn't have bought it. Jorge simply wanted the job no matter what. Regarding that crack...I believe he should have contacted us to offer solutions. I even had another slab on hold just in case! The company gave us $50 off a $2650 bill. They did nothing to reimburse us anything or offer to fix it with options other than an epoxy filler that still left the crack visible. I had no option other than to allow installation to continue. I am now stuck with a cracked tub surround. We will be putting a hand bar over it to hide the crack. After spending $1400 for a slab and another $2600 for their service... I expected much better! Next day... after closer inspection there are tiny fractures on the sink counter as well. This fabricator, as the professional, didn't seem to inspect the stone slab very well. Four weeks later... the tub popped away from the granite and the crack is even more pronounced than before.
