This place is absolutely exceptional!!! This is my second time here but my first time for one of the Friday night events. I was invited by Lillian at another establishment and we came out to check it out. Firstly, everyone was so nice. Lillian is such a positive and sweet person. The atmosphere was so fun and inviting. The food was fresh, crisp, and scrumptious . I got the ceviche and the cheese plate with a few different drinks. I loved it. The music was on point and overall it was just a relaxing experience!! I seriously needed a post COVID restructuring of the hair do, so being new to Crystal River, I naturally scoped out a few places on Yelp. Honestly, I'm typically a no frills kinda guy where a SuperCuts would suffice... BUT, after seeing a few reviews and checking out the website... do yourself a favor and start there!! Unique is a complete understatement! Even for guys, there is an outdoor cigar lounge!! Grab a beer, or a cappuccino and have a smoke! After hours is more of a social lounge. The owners are great and we're very welcoming to the new guy in town! Although it's a bit more than your average Supercuts, it was still well worth it! I'll go out on a limb and say one of the best cuts I've ever had... but let's be honest, there's really no comparison! read more

During the day it's a salon, and in the afternoon/evening you can wine and dine! We are foodies and this place delights, surprises and satisfies our palates. Great food has that special ingredient of love that is difficult to replicate. Everything here was fantastic.. we kept asking "are we really in Crystal River?!" We honestly couldn't believe it. We drove past so many times, each time unsure what it was until I saw them on open table. Then went there thinking they only had sushi(for some reason). We had no idea the foodie experience we were about to have... ohhhh and I'm so glad. We ended up having the guava shrimp and grits, steak, crab cakes and caprese salad. Then we ended the night with a key lime CAKE. It was laced with love and crack, Pretty much. It's the perfect balance of chill vibes and great food. Right across from a small airport/hangar. I still can't believe we found this gem! And so thankful:) It's such a perfect little haven! There are so many good things to be said! they have a "Cigarden". It's a cigar patio in the back along with their little garden where they grow their own fresh veggies and herbs! How cool is that?! Michelle did my nails and she was really amazing. She takes her time and makes sure she does the job correctly. I got the shellac manicure and I love it. Although I live in la, whenever I'm back here in crystal River I would definitely come back for a mani and next time a pedi. I highly recommend this salon. Our first experience was wonderful! The name is misleading though. We passed this place on many occasions and never realized it's transformed into a fantastic restaurant in the evening! They definitely need to increase advertising. Food and wine choices are many and varied. Argentinian Steak was done perfectly. Shrimp Scampi was luscious. This place is awful! The owner has no idea what she is doing with hair. Had the worse hair cut of my life and not just me my mother did also. On top of the awful hair cut getting a refund took forever. She actually wanted to try to fix it but you can't add the hair back on when you cut it too short. Please do NOT go here. On top of the hair why on earth would you try to serve food in a salon?? This place makes no sense. Prices, quality, service, everything is terrible. YAI YAI Style Lounge is simply amazing! I received my blueprint of my growth patterns and hair characteristics prior to my hair design. The style staff is professional and HIGHLY knowledgeable -- without question the highest trained hair stylists (called Xperts) in the area. Additionally, I decided to enjoy the lounge after my hair services. I had an amazing meal that included a flatbread -- then I had a salmon toss over linguine -- they also serve sushi. You can tell that the ingredients they use are the very highest quality. The lounge staff is equally pleasant and knowledgeable. They have an extensive wine list and also craft beer.
