Carol Stickel at Yalcars is AMAZING! I just bought a beautiful silver 2019 Nissan Versa from her, and I couldn't be happier. In fact, Carol made this purchase the best car buying experience of my life! (And I'm 56 years old - I've done my fair share of car buys.) From the first contact where she promptly responded to my message asking if the car was still available until she handed me the key, Carol was respectful, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was also compassionate about my situation, and I was in a bad situation. On Saturday, July 13th at 5:30 in the morning, a deer leaped from the far side embankment into the driver's side hood of my 2017 Nissan Versa. It was devastating, and since it was painfully obvious my car might be totaled, I began to look for a replacement right away. There was time pressure, because as soon as the car was declared a total loss, the insurance company would give me only five days to find a replacement before they stopped paying for the rental car. I didn't think that would be enough time. However, thanks to Carol, and her amazing efficiency, I was able to get into my new car in record time. I returned the rental car TWO DAYS EARLY, and I didn't have to pay for a single day of the rental out of my own pocket. (side note: Carol also gave me excellent advice about rental car return policies!) I live over a hundred miles from Youngstown, so Carol arranged a video call for me to see the car. I was able to get a really good idea of the car's condition. Additionally, Carol even pointed out to me a crack in the windshield which I hadn't noticed in the photos online (this was my error - it had been well-documented). She offered to roll the repair into the cost of the car, and she got an excellent dealer price for the new windshield and installation as well as getting it done the next day so it wouldn't push back pick-up time. Of course, I was also shopping at other places at the same time, including Carvana, and Carol got me a much better deal on the car I wanted than any other place offered me. She also found me financing with a lower interest rate than Carvana offered! In fact, if I hadn't been able to drive out to pick it up, Carol could have shipped the car to me just like Carvana would have. End of the story: on Saturday the 20th of July, just one week after my previous car was totaled, I arrived at Yalcars to pick up my new car, it was in exactly the condition that Carol had presented it to be. An absolute disgrace. Do yourself a favor and research all the negative reviews before you walk in here. IF you buy a car from here take it to a mechanic to have it looked at. These crooks do NOT run their vehicles through service after being traded in, they clean and shine them up and re sell. My experience We came here to purchase a 2021 Kia Telluride. We needed something reliable for my family and I. While sitting down with ours salesman Mark Prokay I asked SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. I wanted to see the repair order from when they brought it in the shop from the previous owner trading it in... he assured me they bring all the vehicles in and everything checked out great. I told him I was mainly concerned about the brakes, rotors and tires .. he said everything was near perfect there was nothing to worry about. After a few weeks I reached out to the dealership and told them my temp tags were about to expire and I was still waiting on the sales tax check they were suppose to be sending me. They said it should be coming etc. After my tags expired I reached back out (at this time I got pulled over and got a ticket) Told them about it and was not happy. I also mentioned they never fully paid my previous loan off(car I traded in ) after them telling me they weren't responsible for it and they tried taking that amount from my sales tax check! (Ohio car to PA transfer) After a few days of going back and forth The GM Russ did make it right and sent us the check immediately. And we greatly appreciated that from him. At this time (almost 2 months later) I took the car to get a PA State inspection done on it (had to wait that long because of the registration etc) I took it to a dealership that basically gave me a quote for a whole new car.... *They told me there was ZERO oil in it. *Brakes and rotors were down to 0. *My coolant sensor needed replaced (warranty covered $1,200 out of the $1,700 repair) *Serpentine belt needed replaced *both side front CVs axels need replaced *one tire has a bubble because of a bent rim *engine and cabin filters are FILTHY (previous owner had a mouse issue ) (Called a maintenance shop from a previous repair off car fax. (The owner of that dealer told me "don't buy that car") And a list full of other stuff that needs done. They told us to bring the car back over to them so they can check it out and get us better pricing etc (Why we are responsible for something they should of fixed before selling is beyond me) Specifically when I asked Mark about these things... They gave me a quote for brakes and rotors all the way around. Oil change And the CV axels..... that was $1,300 roughly. Not the sensor that needs done, filters, Tire that has a bubble in it, NO OIL ( Previous dealer said I'm probably going to have to take to Kia for a motor replacement) Nor anything else... Btw they said they were going to give me better prices for these items, nor did that happen. That's typical dealer prices. No where on that is discounted. I asked AGAIN for the repair order when they "ran it through service" And now they can't find it because they moved buildings.... Which is BS. Dealerships are required to keep paperwork for an extended amount of time, esp if it has warranty they may get audited Once you sign those papers they do not care. At all... STAY FAR AWAY from this place, look at all of they're reviews (all terrible) They should all be ashamed of themselves. AVOID THIS DEALER! I purchased a car online from here in April 2017 Lincoln Continental. I dealt with Mark and inwish inbound have seen the less than 2 star reviews, and complaints about Mark specifically before doing business with them. The deal was negotiated entirely via text, we came to an agreement of OTD pricing, sale price tax shipping and a detail thrown in. The contract he sent me to sign then didnt match the detailed bill he sent me by $550. When I called this out he then reworked it and changed it to the correct bill which I signed. He attempted to collect a 3% fee on a $5000 dollar downpayment before I demanded an ach link with no fee. After 2 weeks of asking where my car was after no delivery I was told to sign another contract for hundreds more before the car would be released. Reluctantly they had my money already so I did. During negotiations I specifically asked about paint and interior conditions, to which he replied there were no scratches dents or interior issues and "stood by it 100%". Upon receiving the car there was a 3 inch scratch exposing metal on the door. A gash in the buper, a washed undercarriage and rim. The leather was very worn in the driver seat, and backseat where a childseat had been for im guessing years. There were cheerios in the seatbelt crease, this car was not cleaned let alone detailed. When I closed the moonroof cover which was delivered open, there was an 8 inch brown smear that was obviously an attempted cover. When i complained i was offered 250$ to sign a fill release of liability. Which doesnt even cover what they got out of me withbthe hostage second contract. I refused and filed a complaint with the ohio AG, and BBB. In which they refused to make right, even claimed that all of the damage was disclosed in a video walk through, which never happened. I would strongly caution anyone against purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I was pressured into placing a non-refundable deposit on a van that was advertised as being in great condition with a clean Carfax report. The dealership staff explicitly told me there were no issues with the vehicle, yet within hours of receiving it, multiple mechanics confirmed serious pre-existing engine damage and other safety concerns. Despite purchasing a warranty, coverage was denied, and the dealership has been completely unhelpful, dismissive, and at times rude when I've tried to work toward a solution. I am now out thousands of dollars in deposits, inspections, and repairs, and the vehicle is still not safe to drive. If you're considering buying here, please get an independent inspection before committing. My experience has been extremely stressful and costly, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this. SCAMMERS! Stay away from this place. We saw a car we liked online and set up an appointment to come see it. They pressured us into putting down a deposit and assured us that it would be refunded if we didn't like the car, because we were coming from 2.5hrs away. When we arrived, they messed up our appointment time so they didn't even have the car out, made us go to a second location, and when we got there, they said we couldn't see the car because it wasn't running! They told us they could do the fixes, send a video to us to see if we still wanted it, and then ship it to us if so. We asked if we could at least see it, even if it wasn't running. After some hemming and hawing, another person took us to see the car in a crowded back lot. It was covered in animal hair, cigarette holes in the upholstery, some panels were coming off, and there was some weird corrosion under the mats in the trunk. We left unsatisfied but kept it in mind as an option because we needed a car soon. Over the next couple of days we looked at some other cars and found one that we liked. Yalcars messaged us to say the car was ready, and we said we had decided against it because of the aforementioned issues. They pulled my info but never gave me any financing terms, no response about approval, and no follow-up despite multiple calls, emails, and texts. I don't know where to begin. This dealership has two dealerships close to each other from what I gather the higher end place seems to be better but I'm guessing they're both owned by the same person so I don't want to impune the other place if that is not the case. I have a feeling of absolute disgust right now they shut the check engine light off on purpose it has the date and time and they most definitely were holding the car at that time so they were the ones who did it. The check engine light popped on 50 miles after I left there. I knew immediately I was dealing with a lemon but because of the conditions in which I bought it I really didn't have a choice. I'm coming from Pennsylvania and I knew buying a car in Ohio was a very bad idea and I did it anyway. I thought the Carfax would be enough and it looked like it was taken care of for the most part. My guess is the original owners knew there was an extremely expensive fix that wasn't very common they had to have known about this but on top of that the catalytic converter was gone I'm almost at the point where I would not be surprised if they were the culprits themselves smelting this down. They knew it was missing... I know it. When you buy things as is it's much easier to get away with crap like this. I found it extremely interesting that they were so insistent on me leaving a review immediately for them that's all they cared about was that review I left them cuz it helps their business so much.. I wrote a good review and I instantly erased it. After, I just took it to get inspected after I got all the papers situated which was a whole separate nightmare with their front desk lady.. The car I had placed a "non refundable hold" on was NOT what was advertised. After leaving a deposit for what was advertised and what I was promised, that is not what I was presented with. I ran my credit with the company because the dealership told me the car I was looking at online was in pristine condition, minus a few cosmetic flaws. They misrepresented the vehicle I purchased. I was an out of state buyer and did a video call with Russell Hardenburgh to get a better look at the car. I asked Russ if there was any damage to the vehicle and he mentioned a pebble mark on the driver's door but the rest of the car was clean. The CARFAX showed no accidents and a single owner. I bought the car and it arrived with a cracked rear quarter panel on the passenger side and damage to the rear bumper as if it had been in an accident. The front wheel liner was missing on the passenger side (along with a handful of other parts) and the front bumper impact bar skid plate (a thick metal piece) had been sheared off on one side. Any sort of inspection or walk around the car would easily note this damage, yet he said the only visual damage he could see was a single pebble mark. I spoke to him about the poor condition of the vehicle and was basically told it was my fault for trusting him. This car wouldn't even pass my state's inspection! I am filing a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General and BBB. I would recommend any one else in a similar situation (there appears to be quite a few!) to do the same. read more

I went to this dealership because i was pre-approved through Westlake financial at 12% interest. I was advised that 24% interest was the best rate I could get with my credit. Come to find out, my credit wasnt even run through westlake financial! The dealership decided to use another bank they work with (to get a kickback on the interest rate every month I'm sure). I should've walked away then. I got the truck delivered because I live in another state. The gas tank was empty. On the way to the gas station the vehicle started smoking. I didn't even drive the thing 2 miles and it broke down. I had it towed to the shop to be fixed. When I called the dealership to advise them what happened they told me there was noting they could do, I needed to use my extended warranty. Not sure why because the vehicle came to me BROKEN!!! The warranty company only covered a third of the bill. Within the first month of ownership I had to shell out another 1.5k. Please don't make the same mistake i did and go somewhere else. They lie and scam you. When to buy a 2006 Mercedes R500, it's valued at $2400 and the vehicle was listed at double the price at $5k which is fine I guess, but when we went to get financed they financed us for $10k triple with what the vehicle was worth. Before we bought it they said the alternator went out and they replaced it. It was definitely not replaced or is was a horribly remanufactured one. Another issue I have is they sold the vehicle to us AFTER they cleared the Check Engine light. Not even 10 minutes from the dealership the light came on, checked it out and the obd port was open which ment they cleared any codes that was wrong with the vehicle beforehand. When I got home I hooked up my Mercedes scanner and verified they cleared the code. They also said if there's anything wrong call them, well that's a lie they act surprised that anything is wrong and after awhile stop answering the phone. There's so much more but bottom line take the vehicle to a trusted mechanic, and don't trust anything they say. They are there to sell you a car and make profit. Everything was fairly simple and easy until I made it home and ran my scanner on the car no cel was present but I did find some other stuff that was stored on the ecu. P 1604 had a failed test and failed to mention the carfax report they had up on the car neglected the moderate damage it sustained in a accident and that there were prior issues with the check engine light. And I've reached out a few times to get it handled called/ emailed haven't heard anything. But we're quick to take my money and ignore they just financed a 2018 Subaru wrx. I recently had purchased a car from them. Everything was going well, staff was wonderful, made sure I had a drink, offered me something to snack on as well, was quick and easy, also was able to get me into the car I wanted same day. The same day I purchased the vehicle I was picking up my children from school and my car told me it was over heating to turn it off, go ahead take it to lube stop and turn it off. The workers there saw that I was leaking antifreeze really bad. Go ahead open the hood, took the cap off and it was smoking telling me that I had no antifreeze in my reservoir. They told me that once it cooled off enough that they would fill up my tank. It took a whole bottle and took more antifreeze when I brought it to the dealership to see what was wrong with the it. They tell me that it was an air bubble in the line as to why it was leaking and as to why it over heated. Go ahead and drive the vehicle all the way to Tuesday. Go to start it Wednesday morning and it starts throwing all these codes on my dash board saying to roll certain windows down, theft deterrent, something about my key fob, everything is lighting up wont start or turn over, and the windshield wipes are moving by themselves, and won't turn off. Checked under the hood, and what do you know? my coolant reservoir is empty after being filled 7 days prior, and has a coolant leak all of a sudden. I had to call my own tow to get it towed over to Yalcars Dealership.. They said they were getting my car into the shop immediately, so I wait to the next day to call. I don't get a call back till noon from Ross, stating that we have the car running we just have to do diagnostics on the car and see where the leak was coming from and fix it. I called three times after to check and see if I could pick up my vehicle today which I kept being told that the sales person was busy. so I eventually go up by myself to see what's going on with my car. to find out that they already know that it's a hoes that has a leak and that they're still running diagnostic to figure out the electrical issue. I asked when will the car be done? I asked this because I have a Monday-Friday job, I have kids that go to school, and I just purchased a vehicle. Now I'm being told that I'm going to have to pay a certain percentage of the repair even though the coolant issue was known the day of purchasing it. They're trying to do right by their wrong, but still have yet to get a final answer of when I would be able to have my car back. read more
