    Pies!!

We stopped to try the pies based on the Yelp reviews and ratings and to tell you that words don't make them justice is an understatement! The crust literally dissolves in your mouth and the filling is just so delicious. The two ladies there were all smiles and great service. We appreciate such a nice and delicious work of art! We felt the love you put in your product!

Outstanding product. $3.25 per hand pie. Crust bursting with ginger flavor - a great offset to the yam filling. Almost like a thick, cakey type of ginger cookie crust. Folks working there very nice. I think they could use some marketing help - but the quality of the product speaks for itself. Worth going out of the way for...

I must say I have never ever had anything like this. It's like a yummy pie rolled into the crust. It's so simple and amazing. I came all the way from California and I stumped upon this greatness. I met the owner and the whole family. Everyone was working hard and you can taste the hard work they put into their product. So amazing really wish they shipped world wide.

Fresh, delicious, amazing!!!!! Homemade Sweet dough pies!!!! I bought 3 - now I wish I bought 20. They are that good. I tried the custard, apple and sweet potato. Yum yum yum. The dough and fillings are homemade- no canned or ready made. A little off the beaten path but beyond worth it. A must stop in Opelousas. Reasonable prices and a nice selection of flavors. Lots of parking in the back. *grab a latte from Java Square @ 103 W Landry St and you are good to go!

Met the owner and her family. I'm flying back to California and she baked my pie fresh. They were closed by the time my pie was ready.

Off the beaten path, but a feast for your taste buds 10/10!!…read more Make time to visit B Sweet Bistro. This spot offered the BEST entree we experienced during our trip. We ordered a few appetizers and entrees, and everything was made with attention to detail and delicious seasoning. The ambiance was cozy and had a welcoming vibe. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. You can tell that the food and a great dining experience are their priority, and they succeeded. Back to the BEST food item in New Orleans, do not sleep on their unique savory beignets. They were bursting with flavor, and we found nothing else like them. I highly recommend this signature dish, which was beautifully presented and loaded with layers of flavor that we can still vividly remember. B Sweeet Bistro is perfect for a memorable, flavorful, and authentic meal. It has an extensive menu and is within safe walking distance of the French Quarter. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make time to visit B Sweet Bistro.

We purchased the pecan cake and a lemon cake. In addition, we purchased 2 tea cookies. The lemon cake was well received and said to be moist. My pecan cake was delicious. Best way to describe it is that it tastes like a pecan log. Stick with the cake. Perhaps try other cookies. Tea cookies were definitely not a favorite. Overall, would eat at this place again for cake that is homemade.
