Small ramen shop located in a small mall / plaza. We wanted to switch it up after eating tacos for a week and were excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews on Yelp and Google. We had the Yamasan Ramen. It was mediocre -- flavor of soup was somewhat there but it wasn't rich and brothy. Lots of toppings but not necessarily needed or a good complement to the ramen (i.e. cole slaw). The pork was not charred or flavorful. In fact, one of my pieces was cold. Good attempt on ramen but I wouldn't recommend.

Be aware th place is super easy to miss from th street cuz ther's a larger Thai restaurant next door.. This ramen place is actually hidden behind a glass wall & next to it is a parking garage entrance. (I added a pic.. I'm surprised others didn't mention this in reviews I read. I feel bad that the Thai place must be good, but they must get asked a lot abt wher this ramen place is.) Excellent Ramen.. & I luv how they say hello & goodbye whenever any customers arrive, & when we leave. (I find it very sweet). I had the vegetarian Ramen (larger size bowl) w/ a lemonade. It was perfect for after being sick w/ the runs for th last 3 days. A wholesome soup is what I was looking for, & this was perfecto.

I did not expect to find one of the best ramen in the world in Mexico City. This place came highly recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint. When arriving, you are greeted with everyone yelling Welcome, which is very common in most restaurants in Japan. The food and service were both amazing. We ordered the Jumbo Prawns and the Yamasan Ramen. Both dishes were recommended by the server and both were delicious. I would ask for extra fried garlic in the ramen because it was that good. I wanted more of it. I definitely recommend this place for the great food and service.

Not a huge fan of Kimchi (don't kill me..) but this place is absolutely delicious!!! Went with my boyfriend for the first time to try some Yakisoba and Ramen, and we weren't dissapointed. If you are in Mexico city, or live around the Condesa area, you need to give this place a try. Prices weren't too expensive, the cook is Japanese and the vibe of the restaurant is a welcoming one.

No wonder it is rated the best ramen in the city. So far the best one I've tried in Mexico. Desserts are nice too. The place is small and a bit loud, but service is good. Totally worth it!

We chose this spot as it was not too busy but not totally dead on a Monday night which seemed promising. Although advertised, they were out of Modelo. We went with a Corona instead along with a shoyu chicken ramen and a tonkotsu pork ramen. We were informed there was no more pork and so ordered the chicken instead. The beer took a long while to get to us and the ramen was seemingly never coming. I even started looking up other nearby restaurants as I was getting hangry. The server did not come check on us or apologize for the long delay at any point. Finally, the ramens arrived and I was disappointed to see a very plain ramen served with no toppings. Very unfortunate as the broth and noodles were good! But the toppings were missed. After eating, we had to walk indoors to get someone to acknowledge we were finished and to pay and leave. Overall, the ramen has great potential but the service was extremely lacking.

I wish the owner would have walked around to chat with us. He did greet us but kept moving. Food was delicious - the katsudon was on pointe. The curry katsu udon soup was my favorite. We also enjoyed the beef ramen. Don't forget to order a sparkling lemonade. Bathrooms were clean. We'll be back

Omg! We're already talking about what to order on our next visit…read more Had an early dinner (by local standards) at 6:30pm on a rainy Friday night. We were seated right away without a reservation. Loved the decor and the casual, intimate atmosphere. We tried the sashimi, vegetable gyoza, salmon don, wagyu beef, seafood fried rice, and finished with the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious. If I had to offer a critique, I'd say the wagyu was just okay--not bad, just okay. Deep respect to the kitchen for executing such a comprehensive menu. The consistency shines through not just in the high-ticket items but also in the staples like gyoza and fried rice.

You can scan the QR code to pull up the menu. It was in both Spanish and English. The menu was extensive, a little something for everyone. There was ramen, rice bowl, udon, sushi, sashimi, shabu, maki, nigiri, etc.   I tried the maguro mix don that had chu-toro, o-toro, and akami on top of white rice. This was a perfectly balanced meal. A good fatty texture on the sashimi. Rice to fish ratio was also good. It was refreshing from all the food we've been eating in CDMX. We all enjoyed our don and ramen.   Service was a bit slow regarding when our food came out but they brought out everyone's food at the same time. The restroom was clean as well. The indoor seating looks spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this spot if you're looking for Japanese food in the Roma Norte area.
