When I first went to her this past April, I was a total noob when it came to facials. I had one previously but just felt like it did nothing for my skin. When I showed up for an appointment with refresh skin lab with Kristen, she was so great with explaining and walking me through my different options of facials. She also helped to explain why I was breaking out in certain areas and what may actually be contributing to it (instead of just saying it's my hormones which didn't add up). Her space is also very zen. I love the ambiance because it really helps me to enjoy my facial experience. The mood lighting, scents and inspiring quote decor is totally my thing so I feel really great when I come in. She was very thorough in letting me know how to find her and what to expect before I even arrived, which I appreciated. I had dermaplaning done for the first time, and she let me know everything she was about to do so there wouldn't be any surprises. (It doesn't hurt but there is a super sharp blade involved, so...) She really took her time to make sure she did a thorough job. She also treats your neck, as well as your face, which not every aesthetician does. She uses high end products, which I appreciate. Unless you have a pain tolerance of zero that's false. Cool sculpting HURTS! They shock you with what seems like a taser and the tech could care less if she hits you in an non numbed up area. The tech that did the cool sculpting on me was extremely rude, she did not care how much pain I was in when she was massaging the cooled area & made a few snarky remarks. I lost ZERO pounds and ZERO inches with cool sculpting. Huge waste of money. Please note: The cool sculpting process came with 4 additional things you could try for free and I tried all but 1 because my last one I asked to rebook as I had a meeting come up at work, called and left 2 messages and never got a return phone call to reschedule. Kim was very kind, she explained what she was doing and how it would help my skin. She also let me do a before/after of the microdermabrasion which was pretty cool to see the difference. She does work out of her home but it's very clean and the room she works out of is private. It's clean, has a nice ambiance to it and smelled nice. At some point in time I fell asleep during one of the facial masks which surprised me that I'd be that relaxed. It's been a few weeks since my appointment and my skin still looks/feels great. I will definitely continue to go to Kim for future facials.

The first time I went to her, it was obvious she's a very stylish woman that listens carefully to what you want. She's also a very kind person with excellent haircutting and coloring skills. I have long hair with layers and a few times a year I get highlights. I like my highlights to be natural looking and not have that typical grow out problem that you have to fix in a few weeks and then with doing the "fix" my overall hair color becomes much lighter-q a than I like, but not with Danielle. She makes my highlights look very natural, more like a balayage highlight and she does not fry my hair in the process. The important thing is that she'll give you the look that you want! If you want to have a bolder, chunky highlights you'll get that, because she listens to what you want. She's also rather diplomatic as I typically pull out these photos of women with incredibly thick hair, unlike my thinning hair she will let me know if my hair can be made to look like the photo. My boyfriend liked my hair that he asked for her number and now hes been going to Danielle ever since, she cuts it just the way he likes it!
