As someone who previously worked in the optical field, I can genuinely say Dr. Downs is the best!…read more I have been a patient of his for a few years, and trust him 100% He is friendly easy to talk to, and really takes time to make sure your vision is the best it can be. My husband recently had an exam and Dr.Downs noticed he needed a prism in his lens..... no other OD has ever mentioned this, my husband's new glasses really make a difference. The optician assisted my husband with frames that look great and fit him perfectly, she recommended lenses and broke down everything very clearly by explaining our insurance benefits. I have never purchased glasses from the office since I just recently started needing an rx only for reading and computer. His optician was not pushy, and I had no issue getting a copy of my RX. I am bummed the office isn't open on Saturdays, I recently moved to Long Beach and my schedule doesn't work with his :( On a whim, I called his office to see if he may know/recommend an OD in my area.... and he did! I finally…read moretold myself I needed to go and, since we had recently moved to the area, I figured that this was the perfect opportunity to find a new optometrist. Setting up my appointment and setting up details like my vision insurance was relatively simple. The staff working the front desk are always super friendly and accommodating. I had a good feeling about them just talking on the phone to set up my first visit. Their location is tucked away amongst other shops and restaurants, so parking is very easy to find. Its a nice excuse to go shopping before and/or after my eye appointment for sure! Dr. Dao is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and does her job quickly. She takes the time to answer your questions and is so fun to talk to! After my appointment, the front desk helped me with next steps and said they would call me once my new contacts were ready. They're always very prompt so I don't need to worry about calling to check on my orders with them. I recommended Dr. Dao to my husband for his eye exams and we are planning to go to Vision Boutique for our future eye care needs!

I was looking for an optometrist who could help my daughter with the new Stellest glasses to slow her myopia progression. The office had state of the art technology and my daughter had an extremely thorough eye exam. They had a huge selection of frames (even for kids)! She was allowed to try on frame after frame before finding the best fitting pair. Skylar, the optician, then meticulously adjusted again and again, until the best fit was obtained. Dr Sophie (and her brother) truly are wonderful optometrists.

They were both extremely knowledgeable and took the time to really listen to my history and concerns. They approached everything with compassion and genuine joy in their work, which made a long appointment feel comfortable and unhurried. I also met with Dr. Patel, who patiently answered all of my questions and explained everything in a clear and kind way. I really felt like all the people I met cared deeply for me. I have rarely had such a positive experience in a medical setting, and I am truly grateful for the care I received.

For me, it's always overwhelming to pick a new pair of sunglasses, but with her help, I chose a frame that I loved. The place is clean and bright with a lot of natural light coming in. I like that they sanitize the glasses because eww germs lol. They do have a nice selection of Gucci glasses and Ray-Bans for the whole family. I highly recommend coming here!

I had such a great experience here! I had no eye insurance, but luckily they were still able to…read morehelp me out in getting eye contacts. The doctor examined my eyes and informed me that one side is getting overcorrected by -.25. After they examined me, the doctor put in contacts for me. Since it was an eye contact exam, they also taught me to take out the eye contacts and put it back in. I was having difficulty and it took me nearly an hour to put them in, but the girl at front was so patient with me and encouraging. I was given a trial pair of contacts for a week and a follow up appointment. I will definitely be coming back due to the knowledge and kindness!

We came in trying to get a sunglasses fixed and we expected to pay a small fee, since it was just a…read moreminor fix. The receptionist was very courteous and quickly brought the sunglasses inside. After about 4 minutes, she brought it out, all fixed and simply said "no charge". Need I say more?
