I've only had the chicken with mixed vegetables. That's my go to Chinese dish. It was great. Most places put too much ginger in the sauce and Panda hardly used any, which I like. The egg rolls were good. I'm here on a work assignment, so cooking is a little more difficult for me and I don't have my rice cooker with me and am yet to figure out how to cook rice in a pot the way mom and grandmas did. That said, if I make a pot roast or something that goes with rice, I'll go by Panda, pick up 2 large steamed rices and life is good. My husband often stayed with his much older brothers when he was young. One of his SIL is Chinese and an amazing cook; so he has been eating authentic dishes since an early age. The Panda Inn is by far his favorite place to get the dishes he grew up enjoying, especially since running to Michigan every night for supper is out of the question But in all seriousness, the family is wonderful and their dishes are delicious!! read more

I stopped at Panda Inn in the Winn Dixie shopping center for my first time. They are closest to my house. I went in and was going to order the Beef and Mushrooms. I asked if there was anything other than mushrooms in it with the beef. The child at the front counter went back and asked the man (I'm thinking it was her father). He took a lid off a recessed container to look inside and put the lid back. He spoke to a lady (thinking the wife)and she came up and I asked if the Beef and Mushrooms had anything else in it. She went on to tell me that it had carrots and some other things but not many. I asked if I could just get it with only Beef and Mushrooms. She said she couldn't for takeout. That just tells me that you can't get fresh cooked food there. I guess I'll continue to go to China King in Millbrook where they cook their food fresh and delicious and with Beef and Mushrooms by themselves. read more

Extremely disappointed in this place. My lady and I waited at least an hour in what is essentially a standing room only area (about 3-4 available chairs) AND they got our order wrong. While we were waiting the workers were arguing the entire time telling each other to "shut up" and "shut your mouth." I wish they would have focused on the food they were cooking instead of arguing amongst each other because even the food they got correct was mediocre at best. Late December 2020 - Visiting from out of town, staying at hotel few miles away. Lots of Asian places closed on Monday so drove here. Saw menu in window and called in order as instructed per COVID policies. It was about 6PM and I was told it'd take about 20 mins. Took an hour. I think they're short-staffed, only 2 people cooking during dinner rush, and they were busy! Be aware. BUT...the food was good (not great, but good). Hot & Sour soup, lemon pepper wings, shrimp fried rice, and fried dumplings (pot stickers). Prices were pretty good too. read more

Getting food here is like trying to get gold out of Fort Knox. Still very Many layers of separation between customers. No seating inside anymore even though we are now years past the pandemic. This place has lost its soul. Pass your money through a series of drawers. Pathetic. read more

A small restaurant but nice. I had their Chicken Broccoli lunch meal which was very tasty. The lunch came with Fried Rice, but it didn't taste like any Fried Rice that I've had before. It was good, but different. The staff was very nice and they have free drink refills. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, well priced Chinese lunch. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The adult Chinese lady up front is extremely rude, worse than a teenager working at McDonald's; Towards me because she didn't get my order right. Telling me what I should've ordered instead. I called this in as a to go order. She's done this once before screaming and cussing speaking Chinese to the other employees ( knowing she's talking about me) and after 6 months or so I gave them another shot. She definitely has lost our business. I hope you all take this into consideration. Because if you are not satisfied with your meal they will not re-cook,refund, or try to at least help the issue. The staff is friendly and the food is great. I ordered 4 entries and they were all hot and delicious. Ordering again tonight!

I was very impressed with how fresh and delicious my food was. We haven't lived in Prattville long, but this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The only reason that it didn't get a 5 star rating is because we didn't get a fortune cookie with our order.
